I snuck into an alleged "Antibrony" website, and I found some "plans" to DDoS or otherwise disrupt pony servers/websites. It's a relatively small group that's barely active and whose site isn't even run on their own domain, but is it weird that I'm still feeling worried?

Ehh, I suppose you're right.
Personally, I feel like having it as the very last thing would be too late. Kinda like the CMC and cutie marks. If it doesn't happen, people get annoyed with waiting. If it does happen, it's like "Hooray!! What now?" and just... Bleh... Imma stop here before I start a long rant that will end with how Equestria was made...
