  1. Updated main post to be more explanatory
  2. You, my good sir, have made my day.
  3. Hello all. I'm Lucan, mechanic design/concept design/writer for the fangame Legend of Celestia. First off, you are probably wondering "What is Legend of Celestia?" Legend of Celestia is a Pony themed Zelda game. It plays like Zelda, but has feels very... pony. The gameplay is a nice mix of A Link to the Past and Minish Cap. It will have two item slots, seven dungeons, and a large world with many secrets. Legend of Celestia, like the Zelda series, puts emphasis on exploration. In fact, Legend of Celestia emphasizes it even more. While Zelda may have a heart container hidden here and there, Legend of Celestia has towns that are located so that you could only access them if you are looking for them (or just badly lost). Not only that, but it also has hidden items, heart containers, and boosts to the max amount of ammo (Like bombs, darts, magic energy) hidden. It's music is anazingly well done by Mabe (I38VWI),. It's chiptune music that not only captures the pony/zelda theme of the game, but also emotion. Boss battle music is intense, while towns are very calming. The music is truely beautiful. This project has attracted some attention, and has a few fans. We even have a website following our project ( Whenever we have big news, they post it! ), Equestria Gaming. Of course, this game is very young and just a little bit of progress has been made. When it is finished, it's bound to attract a lot of attention and have more than enough fans. Interested in joining us? Great! Make a post telling me why you should get the position! What kinds of things can you use? Look below. What we reccomend > High skill in GML (We're working with advanced stuff here) > Already own a STEAM Account > Spare time What we require > High skill in scripting either Java, LUA, C++, or GML. Of course, you can be skilled in more than one of those. > Fast worker - there's a reason why we had made so much progress before our programmer was booted (due to his laziness) > Be tolerant. Seriously, we don't need somebody like our last programmer - I simply told him that I was not happy about a testing version being a week late... over a month ago. He still has not turned it in. > Be a hard worker. The lazy won't last very long in our group. No matter how skilled they are, they will eventually get booted. Somebody who actually works and gets things in on time will last a long time in the creation of this game, and may even be invited to work on a sequel. > Be online often. It's a pain in the neck having a teammate who isn't online when you need them to be. > If you don't have a STEAM account, GET ONE. It's easier for us to contact you, and it's also where we hold our meetings. > Get things in on time. Late things really annoy us, and we will boot you from the team if something is much too late. > If something is bound to be late, WARN US. We will change the due date once, and will extend it to (at the most) a week after the original due date. If we have to do this too often, you will get booted. If these things fit you (and sound nice and agreeable, too), please apply!
  4. Sweet! I'll be posting a pic of me as Link once I get the costume made.
  5. Hi! I'd like to request a picture for my signature. Deffinetly a picture of Azure Tune and Dice Focus (Both have pictures found on their bios, which can be found on my log). You can make them interact if you want, and they should deffinetly be labelled (keep the labels next to, aboze, or below the characters please!). Sound good?
  6. Why is Sheik teaching Derpy/Link the song of storms? Shouldn't that song be a warp song?
  7. ( OOC; Would you mind doing, well, a story arc? Or whatever you would call it? You know, a few rps that go together to basically tell a story. I do it all the time on other sites. ) "You need to get to the hay hop? Would you like me to lead you there?" Azure asked, examining the flute. It was his flute... right? He took a closer look. That wasn't right. That just was not right. Such a difference could not go unnoticed, how didn't he realize it earlier? The color was off. This was a typical silver, his was more of a bluish silver. Azure grumbled a bit, and dropped down, scanning the ground. He saw a glint of metal a few meters away - the flute was nearby. Forgetting about the colt, he darted towards the metal. by the time he got to his flute, he left a trail of angry ponies behind him.
  8. (OOC; Oh my god, the finding the flute so quickly seemed to make the RP shoot by so fast...) Azure's eyes widened with suprise. "Y-yes, that appears to be it." Azure muttered, simultaneously shocked and pleased by how quickly the flute was found. "Thank you..." He levitated the flute back to himself, and put the string around his neck. He paused for a few seconds, afraid of offending the little one. Deciding that the little one would probably be able to push any anger aside, he asked "... And where would your parents be?"
  9. "It's alright, I've made some bad mistakes before too." Azure said, reflecting on his old habit of running away to listen to classical music. He shook his head, snapping him back to reality. "Well, you sound a bit upset, sorry if I upset you" Azure said, feeling a bit upset about asking if the little colt was blind. "But could you just please do me a favor - if you feel a metal rod lying around, try to find me. Ok?"
  10. ( OOC: I'm just going to reply starting when Azure was bumped into. Make life easier, one post at a time. Also, I'll go with the flute being metal for this RP. It's actually clay, though. It's an Ocarina, but I just call it a flute so that noone mistakes me for being somebody trying to cross Zelda over with Ponies... well, outside of a fangame.) Azure looked at the little foal. "Oh, is this your dog? I'm sorry he ran away from you, he must have heard me moaning." Azure said, his voice softer than his usual voice (which was still soft). "But why did you run into me? Are you blind?" Azure asked. "Oh, and... have you found any flutes lying around?" (OOC; "Have you found any flutes lying around?" I'm going to have to ask that to some random person on the street. I'd love to see their reaction.)
  11. "you've got to be brave Azure.... you'll find your flute and be able to listen to those performers..." Azure told himself. "Don't worry, it will be-" He was cut off by the barking of... a dog? He jumped, a bit startled. He wasn't used to dogs, and here was one barking at him. "Good boy?" Azure said, wondering why the dog had headed straight to him. He figured it was most likely because of his moaning. "Erm... could you help me find my flute?" He asked the dog, thinking that he must have sounded crazy - after all, he was talking to a dog! "Or at least get your owner to help me?"
  12. Azure walked through the busy festival grounds, shocked by the crowd. He had not seen such crowds since he last left Manehattan, which was merely a week ago. As he stumbled through the crowds, he heard music playing. Turning towards the source of the music, he accidentally rammed into another pony. His blue flute (and it's string) fell off his head, and was swept away by the hooves of other passing ponies. Azure moaned in distress, worried about the little woodwind instrument.
  13. Finally, I got my account back!

  14. Name: Dice Focus Sex: Male Age: Stallion (20 human years) Species: Unicorn Pelt Color: Bluish Purple Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Dark gold Eye Color: A charming azure. Cutie Mark: A die on the 5 side with 2 question marks Physique: A bit short and thin, since he's usualy indoors playing games and making puzzles when he isn't travelling around selling things. Origin: Manehattan Roleplay Type: Mane Occupation: Creates board games and travels around equestria selling them Motivation: He wants to see if ponies around Equestria are friendlier, more generous, and more willing to accept new ideas than the ones in Manehattan and, of course, make a bit more money. Likes: Creating puzzles, board games, and table top role playing games. Other hobbies of his include writing, jokes, and music. Dislikes: Headaches, the easy way, mean ponies, and being told to change his ways. Personality: He is a bit rude to those he doesn't know, but is much friendlier to those he does.He is also known for making things a bit too complicated, it's best not to ask him for help on puzzles or really anything else. That is, if you don't want to be left confused. He hates easiness, so he'll often make the rules for his board games so that they require plenty of thought. He's also very stubborn, and refuses to change his ways. History: Dice was born almost completely blind. Being the type of parents who want the perfect child, his parents bought him a pair of glasses. He has only lost them twice since he first got them. When he was little, he brought confusion all around him. While he was taught the easiest ways to do things, he always tried to make them harder. When asked why, he always replied "The trickier it is, the more fun it is. Easy things are boring!" This made him very unpopular, and many little foals picked on him. His parents tried (and failed) to make him accept the easy way of doing things, hoping that would make him a bit more accepted by his peers. Eventually, they realized that it might just tie to his special talent, and they encouraged it - they thought having writer for a father and an artist for a mother would, without a doubt, give the little foal an interesting skill. They thought of a combination of the two parent's talents and the love of difficulty to get a result that they would have normally expected. His talent, according to their calculations, was puzzles and games. They introduced him to many different types of puzzles, and he showed great interest and enjoyment from them. However, that did not make his cutie mark appear. It didn't appear until one day, he came up with a little puzzle out of boredom. It wouldn't be very hard if it was not worded in such a confusing way. He called it the "Idenity Crisis Challenge". That puzzle can be found at the bottom of this post. He told it to one of his friends, who figured it out in 3 minutes. Dice found the experience quite enjoyable, and realized that puzzles and games were what he loved most. That's when he got his cutie mark. He tried selling his games in Manehattan, but nobody would buy from him. In fact, many of them said that they "have no time for such junk." Of course, when he could finally travel around and sell things on his own, he left the city to see if everybody around equestria was like the citizens of Manehattan. Other Information: Dice's Puzzle (the Identity Crisis Challenge) (In his own words) Dice's game prefferances (Most favorite to least favorite) - 1. Strategy games (Chess, Checkers) 2. Puzzles(Identity Crisis Challenge, Twenty Questions) 3. Tabletop Role Playing Games (His favorite is Dungeons and Draconequis) 4. Typical board games (Monopony, Candy Land)
  15. Sorry, couldn't help but notice. 14 year old mind at work. And yes, I believe it is safe to assume that interspecies breeding is alright. If it was not, there wouldn't be mules, would there?
  16. Oh, ok. This is just a status update on my profile. Das cool.

  17. Is this twitter?

  18. Trust me, I learned it the WRONG WAY. Just follow the examples others give you, and take *ALL* the advice you can get. And owning a RP site isn't bad, it's just kinda hard to get members.
  19. You want to hear how I got into RP? You see, I was raised on a rock farm... ... Ok, not really. Actually, I started rping in some yahoo pokemon roleplay group two years ago. I had it ALL WRONG (so wrong). I accidentally wrote what is possibly the worst fanfic ever (Worse than satire) because nopony would reply. Well, I was upset about that and ran off to som "Deoxys Dash - The End is Near" site. I managed to save the dying site, and was banned shortly afterwards for not understanding how roleplay works (I used my one character in, like, 5 threads at a time) and killing my character without permission (wtf?!). Well, the site died shortly afterward. KAAAAAAARMAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I ended up joining another pokemon roleplay forum, where I started to get a tiny bit better. Then, I hosted my own. It lasted a few months, and it had a great community. It eventually died, despite the fact that we fought as hard as we could to keep it alive. Things happen, I guess. I stopped forum RPing then, and went on to rping on (don't laugh) ROBLOX. Two or three years later, I joined this site and posted this message. And that's how Equestria was made!
  20. SON OF A MULE! Umadbro?
  21. MADNESS?! NO, THIS. IS. EQUESTRIIAAAAAAA!!! Cool podcast, might check it out later. Good job with the name - Unlike most podcasts, this one actually sounded interesting!
  22. "people?" That's a funny way to spell "ponies." And welcome to the community!
