Yeah being random is fun. If it weren't for random, everything'd be predictable and boring.

Happy new year everypony. The new year has quite a lot of potential, since it might be a good time to start new things, or have quality time with friends and family. If you're headed out for a party, have fun! As for me, i'm content with my laptop and chatting with my friends.

While I do believe that science and logic dictate what makes the world turn, and how things happen, I also feel that something else exists and makes itself known subtly, like when you do something awesome on accident, but can never do it on purpose. The universe is infinite, and full of strange things. At best, we'll be able to explain a fraction of what goes out there, inside us, and around us.

Do not purchase the toy. As tempting as it may seem, a piece of merchandise is not worth having an agitated spouse.

I for one do like fanfics, though I usually stay away from the grimdark ones. Yeah, the shipping is pretty crazy, and many are kinda cliche, but some aren't that bad, and many fans do try hard when writing. If a fanfic is well written, and isn't cliche and if the concept isn't crazy, I might give it a try.

I agree with the idea of the mane knowing each other before the start of the show, but they were probably just acquaintances, since they might have had friends from before they met one another (Gilda, for example), or kept themselves busy with work. They probably met each other a few times, but I imagine only Pinkie and Applejack being close, since the Cakes probably needed apples and stuff for their recipes. No group of friends is perfect, mind you. My friends argue all the time, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

Star Wars: Return of The Jedi. I have the original trilogy on VHS, so I re-watch them at least once a year.

Earth ponies are the best; strong, dependable, tolerant, and thoughtful. Though having wings or magic would be nice, i'd rather do my work with my own hooves hands.

I'm expecting a lot from it as well. I've been a Batman fan (Batfan?) since I could remember. Batman Begins had such an awesome representation of the Scarecrow. (Fun Fact: In the comics, Scarecrow is a fear-addicted sociopath who is only afraid of Batman himself. He's actually rarely intimidated by anyone or anything else, much to the frustration of Gotham PD. ) And The Dark Knight? That was the PERFECT JOKER. I've read Arkham Asylum:A Serious House on Serious Earth, and seen the original movies, and read the comic, of course. Heath Ledger's Joker is a perfect combination of all of those things; the sarcastic, the dark, the loony, the circus-y, and the voice. And Two-Face? Man, what an amazing performance, I was shocked at how well Eckhart performed the role of Harvey Dent. Now, The Dark Knight Rises. I hope they'll acknowledge the following points about the newest villains: 1. Catwoman is a sultry, talented thief. She doesn't fight as well as she does trick people. She should test Batman's wits and detective skills more than previous villains. If anything, a fight between the two should be mostly her ducking and weaving around him, and disappearing when he gets distracted. 2. Bane (also known as "The man who broke the Bat".) is hard to fight. He's stronger, faster, and sharper-minded than most people, and that's WITHOUT pumping some of his own muscle-enhancing "Venom". Sorry about writing all that, I just couldn't stop typing for a minute or two. In short, I hope this movie is as good, if not better, than the previous installments.

Shipping can be fun and romantic, if it's done right. Some characters ought to not be shipped for various reasons, like how Discord is chaos incarnate, or how the princesses would outlive anyone they are paired with (unless paired with one another, which is gross if you ask me ) If a ship is a pair that makes sense to me, I might like it. Some ships only contradict the show, which annoys me to no end. (Twilight Sparkle and Trixie, really?) All in all, I don't mind ships, as long as you don't try to force them on me. Whatever floats your boat, right?

I liked Luna Eclipsed, but I think Luna speaking in royal equestrian was...wrong. Please correct me if i'm wrong, but there's about a year's time difference between her first appearence and Luna Eclipsed, right? So, wouldn't someone in Canterlot have corrected her, even if she IS royalty? Also, why was her appearance even a surprise to everypony? She's royalty, wouldn't somepony have mentioned "Hey, Luna's gonna be in town for the celebration?" at the beginning of the episode or something? maybe i'm over-thinking this, but her having difficulties making friends ought to have been portrayed more sensibly...and not so loud.

Jeepers Creepers, and 1930's jazz tune. It was used in a horror movie, also titled Jeepers Creepers. "Jeepers Creepers, where'd ya get those peepers? Jeepers Creepers, where'd ya get those eyes?" It's been covered by various artists, so i'm sure you can find a version you'd like for your party.

The Song of Storms from OoT, of course! It's my favorite ocarina tune, and I've even taught myself how to play it.

APPLES! You should have seen this coming, honestly. This is a recipe for my mama's apple pies. I loved it when i was a kid. Mama's Apple Pie. 9 cups of sliced apples 4 cups of sugar 1 cup cornstarch A stick of butter 7 cups of water 3 drops of yellow food dye 1 tsp. of apple pie spice (or cinnamon) First, put the sliced apples in quart-sized jars. Mix everything but the apples in a pot, then put them on the stove to cook, stirring every now and then. When it starts to get thick, remove from stove. Pour mixture over apples in jars. Then, seal the jars with pressure cooker (I don't know how, please google that part). This should give you about 4-6 quarts of pie filling. To make pie, empty 1 jar of filling into a pie crust, and top it with a second crust. Bake at 350 degrees until top crust reaches a good brown-ish colour. Also, please make sure that you seal the jars of filling properly. If you don't, you might get sick, and i'd feel bad about it. BONUS RECIPE: REPLACE THE WORD "APPLES" WITH "PEACHES"

The first video game I ever played was Super Mario Bros. 3 on my NES. I was only a little kid at the time, so I wasn't very good at it, but it didn't stop me from loving video games. I still love SMB 3, and play it every now and then, and have even played a speed-run of it, beating it in ten seconds flat under twenty minutes.
