Yeah, we all love the series, duh... but is there anything about the series you DON'T like? For me, frankly i dont like most of the male characters... okay, Spike is alright, he has his good moments AND bad, just like everyone else, so he's cool... Big Macintosh is cool too, although he only has 2 scenes in the entire show, so theres not much to his actual character... Breaburn is alright, although a little too eager to show off the town... But the bad ones... Hoity Toity, i suppose he's suppose to be prissy and uptight, since its kinda his job... but still, not a big fan... Prince blueblood though, to out it lightly, he's a douche... And Snips and Snails... Oh my god they are complete IDIOTS and i'm ashamed to share the same gender with them... So yeah, thats about all i DONT like about the show... Really everything else is pretty awesome...

Well, i'm not familiar with how they do RPs around here, especially in the big group RPs... But if you want to do a 1x1 in the private messenger thing, I would love to =3 I'm more use to 1x1 anyway... And frankly, i've been itching to begin RPing with my own character.

(TL:DR version below...) So, i just came from one of the intro topics where someone had made a topic asking people who their favorite non-pony character was, and another person mentioned that this sort of topic wasnt really meant for the intro thread... It made me think that the intro thread might want to be tinkered with a bit.,.. Maybe you have an introduction thread where you have to post in that at least once just to introduce yourself, then have a 'new filly' section where you can post after that. This is where the new people can create threads and post their replies to other new people's threads to get a little head start before being opened up to the rest of the board. The reason i'm suggesting this is because i was thinking how awkward the current system is... When i started i posted an intro topic liek i was suppose to, but then i waited for someone to reply... I was talking with Tales (MyLittlePonyTales) at the time on Skype, and she suggested that i simply go onto other people's intro topic and say "Hey i'm new too!", and that a lot of people do that. I feel this is a bit awkward... It's okay when people who've been here a while come over and say Hey to the new people, but think of it like if you were at a new job... you and another new person walk into the building at the same time, you dont know each other... It might be nice to greet each other, but to attempt and try and chat with them feels a bit awkward... "Hey you new here too? Yeah, this is my first day too, i have no idea who any of these people are, what they do or how they do it..." see what i mean? Maybe we could have a subforum where we have various topics with basic questions as the topic... "Who's your favorite pony?" "What's your favorite episode?" etc etc... That way we dont have more of these topics popping up in the future, and the new people can jump right into the conversation, while still being contained in one area. If its mostly about bots and spam, they can still spam the intro thread a lot, which would clutter up and make peoples introductions get lost... although then the basic questions section would get flooded as well... TL;DR... I dont know what solution to come up with, but the main problem i see is that if you're only limited to the introductions area, Socially you're stuck in your own topic since roaming into others would see weird... And if no one replies for a while, newbies might be deterred and leave, since they really can't post anywhere else... i dunno, just trying to contribute with feedback.

I'll be honest... when i joined, i was like "Well, i'll just post a topic saying Hi and wait for other to respond to get my other 2 posts out of the way" Tales tried to tell me "Hey, a lot of people go into other peoples threads and say "Hey I'm new too!" And i just thought that would be lame... I feel like i would seem like i was saying "Hey! I'm desperate to get my last two posts so i can unlock the rest of the forum! So i'll post on yours with something that has no real impact!" So actually have a subject for their intro topic seems fair enough =3 at least its a bit more interesting and give others something to respond to... Anywho, on topic... hmm... Hm, true about the monotony getting boring... Although that would make it easier to put everyone's story together... If we had one person say "I was skydiving and on my way down i saw a Bridlemaid's sign with ponies on it!" that would be kinda hard to slip in with the other's stories... Although now i've thought of another issue... Many people HAVE been pressured into watching the show, from what i've seen... and to others, may be a sign of bullying if we got a bunch of people together to say "Yeah my friend told me to watch it, and finally i gave in."... I dunno, maybe i'm overthinking it... I think if in everyone's video they try ot make it visually and audibly appealing, like they have something eye catching in the background and they try to match their voice to the emotions they're describing, it could be a fun video to watch, and long as it isnt drawn out for 30 minutes...

Well, Princess Celestia has kept peace for over a thousand years for the most part, and even with the past two incidents with Nightmare Moon and Discord, they seem to be handled pretty well- Oh wait... Serious topic? sorry... I'll be honest... My opinion on politics is If you're dumb enough to run for president, you're not smart enough to be president. Everyone goes in acting like they will have control over everything and will be able to fix problems like its somethign that can be fixed easily and results will be noticeable in a couple of months... But they forget that Congress needs to agree with them... now about half of them already WON'T agree with the president, most likely because he's in the opposing party (Whether the idea is good or not, thats just how people are) The other half will have a few people who actually take a look at the idea and say it needs work and vote against it, therefor knocking down most of the ideas that the president promised. Basically, trying to get hundreds of people to agree on something is hard... but in the end the president is the one who gets blamed because he's the icon of the country. Think of it this way, if you have a football team that sucks, its the coaches fault... It's not the players fault for not agreeing on a play to use, and then screwing it up once they finally compromised on something that neither side really liked.... Somehow the coach gets blamed for it... So, frankly i dont care... the people of this country screwed up a lot of things, and voting for a single man or woman won't help much... That's my opinion anyway...

I'm still a couple episodes behind T_T I'm only up to the end of Season 5 so far... Dont blink O_O
