[Trottingham] Small Spar [Closed (for now?)]

Dunder

Recommended Posts

Celestia's sun was bright, lighting the city of Trottingham. Ponies went about their days as normal, nothing in particular was astounding or out of the ordinary. At least, not yet.

Dunder trotted alongside his friend, Percival. The yellow unicorn was kind enough to invite Dunder out to Trottingham. After the whole airship crash incident, Dunder was glad to finally be friends with the unicorn. Especially since at the beginning the two stallions were ready to tear each other to shreds. Anyway, this unicorn was rather nice after you got past the whole defence of wounded patients.

"So, where do you want to go now? Not much else we haven't seen in Trottingham." Dunder asked as he trotted aongside the unicorn, Trottingham being one of the least visited of the pegasus's towns, right in front of Stalliongrad.

It has been a while since the airship crash, but it seemed just like yesterday for Percy... Just yesterday, he was trying to pop his dislocated arm back into his socket. Just yesterday, he was re-stitching a pony's forehead together. Just yesterday, he was feeling the icy snowflakes batter his hide like needles.

Percy shook his head wildly, that was in the past. This is now, he was with his newly-found friend, and his beloved homeland, Trottingham.

They had already visited various shops and diners, and even stopped at the old fortress, so Percy could greet his old squad-mates. Now they were headed to the city park, which is largely considered to be one of the best of the world... Percy could hardly contain his excitement in Trottingham. This was where he was raised in. Percival suddenly broke out into a full run.

"The park?" Dunder asked, they had been going to restaurants and shops and even that fortress to see those soldiers and Percival's old squad mates, the park was out of the blue, but maybe there was something there to make it more interesting. While Dunder was in thought, Percival bolted. Dunder began galloping after, and eventually took off into the air, flying over the running unicorn. "Hey! What's the hurry?" Dunder asked, "I am pretty sure we didn't break the law!" Dunder called, looking behind them.

As Dunder took to the air, he noticed three people leave what appeared to be an private residence. Two of them he instantly recognized, but the third he had not seen before. One was a griffon named Zelda, who the stallion had spent some quality time with several months ago. The second was a red coated Pegasus pony named Fire Walker, who he had considered a very good friend, however, the third, a male Pegasus was a stranger to him. It could have been one of Fire's brothers, one he had not met yet. The royal guard seemed to have a small army of siblings. All three were dressed in what would be considered 'adventure gear' (Armor, heavy saddlebags and such.). The griffon was the first to spot Dunder, and she quickly elbowed the mare who looked up.

Zelda waved towards the two stallions before she nodded at her other companion, who both took off into the air in the opposite direction, leaving Fire Walker alone. The mare took to the sky to catch up with her old friend. "Hey Dunder!", she yelped,"Wait up!". The mare was known to be a rather hardy fighter, but a poor flyer. Even without the armor or saddlebags, she would still have a problem keeping up with the two stallions if they kept up at their current speed.
