I am a bit of a craftsman otherwise, mainly working in leather. How I found Canterlot.com: Friend of mine is on the form How I became a fan of MLP:FiM: The same friend got me to watch the show with protest... then I was upset when I ran out of episodes to watch. To be fair and honest I took up leatherworking because metalworking was out of the question where I was living. Apartments get mad when you build fires or try to weld >_>.But I went to a local tandy, picked stuff up and played with it. That's how all the crafty stuff really works, play with it until you go "That...... worked better than I expected." I've always wanted to use a lathe, haven't had the luck to get my hands on a machine shop really. Alas my territory with metal is entirely in a forge or with a welder, so I've not gotten to play with the -really- intricate stuff. And trust me... I understand the hamfists FAR too well.
