Plot: Princess Luna and Princess Celestia were at home one night. They heard a slamming door and screaming. "Oh dear!" Princess Luna exclaimed. "What in the world is going on?" Princess Celestia asked. There was a shadow that suddenly ran through the doors, he was carrying something in a bag. "He has the elements of harmony!" Princess Luna shouted. "Guards, after him!" Princess Celestia ordered. After all the commotion, the next day, Princess Celestia called the main 6 and Princess Cadence to a meeting. "Dearest Twilight, the elements of harmony have been taken." Princess Celestia told her. "You must go and retrieve them from wherever they are!" Princess Luna told them.

Jon cursed as he chased the mysterious stallion cloaked in dark colors as dark as his own black mane, tail, and dark gray coat. He followed for awhile into the Everfree Forest where he lost the stallion. He snorted in frustration and walked the many miles back to the castle. Few had the same stamina as Jon to keep up a chase as such as that one. He pondered who in Equestria would do such a thing as steal the elements. When he was younger and doubted the Twins' rule he had a plan, but he abandoned it when he threw his own trust into the sisters. He now was personal bodyguard to the Princess of the night and the main weaponsmith to the Royal Guard. As he apporached the castle, he was easily let in. He walked to the main chamber and kneeled before his ward. "My dear princess, I apologize, the stallion eluded me. I chased him into the Everfree Forest where he dissappeared from my sight. My dearest apologies." He told her, huffing slightly in exhaustion, a rare thing for him, his voice full of personal hurt and pain at his failure to do his duty.

Princess Luna looked down. "Don't worry. He is no threat to us right now. Instead, i have another task for you, i want you to follow twilight and her friends on a mission." Princess Luna told him. She stood up and went to go get something. "Here, this is for you." Princess Luna said. Inside the wrapped cloth was a amulet. "It will protect you!" Princess Luna told him.

He nodded, put it and his helmet on, and chased out the door to follow the 6 girls.

Princess Luna watched him go. "May the luck be with you!" Luna whispered.

Fluttershy remains silent as always, following in behind her friends. She quickly glances up, through strands of pastel pink hair, at the pony trotting beside her. She blushes before turning away, hoping he didn't notice her staring at him.

Jon frowned, wondering why Fluttershy seemed flushed. He gently nudged her shoulder. "Miss, are you alrigbt?" He was worried, he couldnt have such a lovely pony be sick in his care.

Rainbow Dash looked at the two ponies. Fluttershy was acting a bit more queasy than normal. "Yea, are you alright Fluttershy?"

The shy pony's eyes widened at the sudden nudge, a small yelp escaped her muzzle. "Y-y-yes." she stuttered. Fluttershy realized she was acting shyer than usual and she couldn't quite figure out why. Doing what she always done in awkward and embarrassing situations, she sprinted away, ending up beside Applejack.

John said nothing, looking at Rainbow Dash. "Ms. Rainbow Dash, I am John Flight and I will be escorted you all ya'll's adventure this time."

Rainbow Dash looks at John. "OK then." Rainbow Dash says.

Fluttershy looks over at Applejack with curious eyes and whispers, "I wonder what his name is."

Pinkie Pie notices from the corner of her eye a new pony trotting beside Rainbow Dash, curious, she springs backward till she is bouncing beside the stranger pony. "Hi there! I'm Pinkie Pie! Who are you?! Do you wanna hear my new joke?! I tried telling it to my gator pet, Gummy, but he didn't wanna hear it!" She continues to bounce, awaiting a response with her eyes bright and full of excitement.

Applejack looked at Pinkie Pie. "She sure is excited!" Applejack whispered to Fluttershy. "Sure pinkie! We'll hear your new joke!" Rainbow Dash replied to Pinkie.

John raised an eyebrow but politely nodded. "My name is John Flight, and sure thing. I wouldn't mind hearing a new joke once in awhile." He was slightly unnerved because he had never met anymore as active as Pinkie in person before. He kept glancing at Rainbow Dash for advice how to handle Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie begins bouncing even faster, becoming over whelmed with excitement. "What do clouds wear under their shorts?!" She begins giggling, bringing her hooves up to her muzzle, attempting to hold back laughter. "Thunderpants!" Pinkie Pie becomes over taken with laughter and falls to the ground, rolling around while kicking her hind legs in the air.

Fluttershy glances back at a now blue faced Pinkie Pie, she raises an eyebrow at her. She quickly sneaks a peek at the pony stranger, who she'd overheard say his name was Jon Flight. She turns back to Applejack, "This cloaked pony must be very dangerous for Princess Celestia to have an escort with us." She looked ahead only to notice they had arrived at Everfree Forest. She gulped, very nervous to enter. With no protection from the elements of harmony, the ponies would have to fight off any sudden obstacles on their own. Needless to say, Fluttershy was frightened.

Jon chuckled and laughed softly, he rarely laughed so it sounded slightly gravely. "My oh my Miss Pinkie, you truely fit your element." He stopped laughing as everyone stopped. He noticed everyone appeared slightly afraid, even the brave Dash. He walked over to the most frightened, Fluttershy, and patted her back gently. "Worry not girls, you got the protection of me. No harm shall come to you, that I swear." He was full of confidence and bravery, walking in front of them and turning to them. "Are you ready?" He kept his gaze at Fluttershy though, sending her a wink in the hope of boosting her confidence.

Another pony ran up to them, a white unicorn in guard uniform. "Sir! I am here to help!" Jon glared at the unicorn then sighed. "Little Thunder, you wish to accompany me and these mares into the infamous Everfree Forest?" Thunder nodded and Jon sighed. "Fine, stick close to the Princess Twilight on the right side, I shall remain on the left with Miss Fluttershy."

Pinkie finally brought her breathing back to normal, she bounced back up on her four hooves. "Thank ya! I hope to one day be as great as Ponyacci!" She giggled and smiled until she realized everyone had stopped in their tracks. They had arrived at The Everfree Forest. Pinkie seldom had a frown on her face but this was one time that she couldn't giggle and smile as she usually would in any situation. She knew the Everfree Forest was no laughing matter.

Fluttershy shook nervously, her belly on the ground in fear. A small yelp escaped her muzzle when she felt pressure on her back, she looked up to notice Jon. She was unable to speak but she gave a nervous smile. She watched as he walked slightly ahead and turned around to give her a wink. Fluttershy's face turned bright red. She couldn't help but smile back at him. "He's so cute!", she thought to herself, causing her to blush even more. She felt a nosebleed at any moment. Suddenly, she felt courage, she wanted to impress Jon. She couldn't quite figure out why she felt the need to either, she knew the elements were an important matter and needed to be brought back in her friend's care. She stood tall and proud, something she very seldom does, and nodded at Jon. "Lets do this!" she said sternly as she stomped her front right hoof. The sweet pony's eyes grew wide and she hunkered down slightly. "I mean if you want to." She whispered.

Jon's eyes grew wide but he nodded with a grin. This was unexpected, something Jon usually didn't tolerate but this was acceptable to him. He started walking next to her as the whole line started walking. "Hey there miss Fluttershy." He whispered to Fluttershy. "That was impressive miss, not many people can impress or surprise me like that. I....think I enjoyed it." He smiled at her, accidently bumping his flank on hers.

Twilight nodded, she had been quite as she had been going over the checklist with Spike to make sure everything was good and set, "Ok Spike I need you to becareful when we go out there," she said to him, "Mr Flight, I hope it isnt to much of a hastle to bring along Spike, He can be used to message Celestia quickly if need be"

Suddenly a frantic set of hoofsteps were heard as Rarity came running up, "Oh so sorry Im fasionably late darling, Sweetie Belle had her little club over and they made such a mess!" She sighed, "I do wish they could get there Cutie Marks soon, so my house may stay clean," she said and smiled warmly.

Fluttershy grinned uncontrollably. She'd never had such confidence like Jon was able to bring out of her. She loved the feeling. She glanced up through stands of pastel pink hair as Jon continued to compliment her. "T-Thank you, Mr. Flight. I-I I've never felt more courage in my l-life." She managed to stammer out. Her eyes grew wide as Jon bumped his flank against hers, she smiled at him, growing red once more. She suddenly felt darkness consume around her, her body shook all over, as much as she tried to contain it, the same old Fluttershy actions managed to shine through. She looked behind her to see light dim the further they walked into the forest until finally darkness was all that could be seen around them.

Pinkie Pie spinned around and around, looking every direction, darkness being all she could see. She grew dizzy from her constant spinning and fell to her bum, the world spinning around her. She shook her head, gaining her regular vision back. "Hey! I can't see a thing! Somepony should do some of their fancy smancy unicorn magic and light the way!" Pinkie Pie looked around at the group, a look of "Did Pinkie just come up with a good idea?" on their faces. "What?" She said, innocently. She arose to her four hooves and shook dirt out of her tail.

John turned serious as soon as the alicorn spoke to him. "Of course it is of no trouble Miss Twilight, it would be not wise to not bring him along!" He smiled and nodded, the entire group still moving. He was slightly irritated at the late pony's arrival but said nothing. He nodded to himself at Pinkie's words. He pressed his flank against Fluttershy's so that as they walked, their flanks rubbed against eachother.
