Their love of the night and shadows made them the ultimate breed for assassins and ambushes. Their race was like any other, their lifespan was the same. Nightmare Moon saw this flaw and so picked five young Bat ponies to give the gift, of immortality. But the gift had a side affect, with increased strength, speed, and all five senses, they had to feed. In order to maintain their immortality they had to feed off Earth ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi alike. Some of these Five were chosen as Generals to lead Nightmares armies against Celestias Royal army. The others were trained as lone wolves, rogues in their own army, their advanced skills made them perfect for secretive missions, able to take on an entire army alone. But before the true war could begin, Nightmare Moon was vanished by her older sister, not to be seen again. The Bat ponies retreated into the shadows for the next One thousand years, their existence became rumors and myths, scary stories told to young colts and fillies. And with Princess Lunas rebirth, came the rebirth of Nightmares army led by General Black Star, one of the Deadly Five chosen for the immortal gift. He kept the once thought extinct race alive, waiting for their beloved Queen of the Night to return. Once Black Star made his intentions for bringing back Nightmare Moon clear to Equestria, war broke out between the two factions, the battles raged on for two years with the line set on a plane just beyond the far outskirts of the Everfree forest. But even in the most evilest of places, good can be found. Princess Luna has made contact with one of the chosen Five and now planes to meet this mysterious bat pony in secret, along with a couple members of her own newly made Nightwatch, a small band of ponies sworn to protect Luna and the Night. Luna and a patrol of Nightwatch are heading to a cliff top to meet a mysterious bat pony. You and Killjoy and any others can be part of Lunas escort.))Princess Luna and her escort near the meeting area described from the letter. The cliff was on the other side of the mountain where Canterlot was built, there a stone slab acted like a table just meters away from the drop off. "When we get there do not show any signs of aggression, I do not wish to fight this bat pony, he or she may be our only hope in winning this war." You can keep your OC as he is if you want to be one of the chosen five. And they could be twins too cause Shadow Moon also has a missing eye as well, which side yours on?))A figure stood at the edge of the cliff, a flimsy cloak hid his head and face. The Princess and her escorts walk up to the stone slab, her escorts wait just a few paces back, their eyes peeled for any threat. "You already know who I am, who are you?" She asks intentionally, curious about this meeting. The figure turned around keeping his face hidden and his cloak covering his sides. "My identity is not of importance, and I thought this was supposed to be a 'secret' meeting." He answered back coldly. The Nightwatch ponies eyed the mysterious pony with intent. "I should ask you the same." She said flatly, but her curious gaze swept over the two stallions, she was quite intrigued by the race. Shadow glanced side ward at his brother annoyingly, "He was supposed to stay behind," He turned back to Luna. "I've come to warn you about a plot to capture you, do not visit the Battle field tomorrow, General Black star has layed a trap out." Luna narrowed her eyes, "Why should I trust you?" Unfortantly all but my brother and I are blindly following Black Stars cause. Just please take this to heed, we ask of nothing else." He explained with haste. Shadow glanced at his brother, motioning with his eyes to his own chestplate, the cat-eyed gem in the center was fading quickly. The Gem is on all the chosen Fives' armor, it fades from its light blue arua when the wearer is growing hungry, if not quelled the bat pony will slowly shrivel in pain as he or she is reduced to ash. Shadow needs to feed or risk dying, and he hated having to survive like this. Luna held her hoof up to her chin to think about their words. Shadow nodded and turned to head away, "Come brother, we must take our leave." He said flinching as his hunger grew. Luna walked away with her escort beside her, she glanced back at the brothers as they leaped of the cliff top to fly away. Shadow lead them above the clouds, his hunger pains began to grow more and more painful with each spasm. "I need to feed and quick, we have no choice but to stop in ponyville, i wont last for too long." He said as he started his desent to ponyville. Shadow made his way sliently to a window and peeked inside, there he saw two mares sleeping in separate beds, one mare was pink with a blue mane and tail while the other was blue with a pink mane and tail. Shadow pushed away his hated feeling for doing this and focused on surviving, he opened the window slowly bearly making a creak at all and motioned for Blood to take the pink one with the blue mane, Shadow made his way over to the sleeping blue mare with the pink mane. Shadow looked away before edging closer, he sank his fangs into her neck and began to draw in her blood, at least he knew he could fill himself without killing her. The blue mare stirred as she felt the slight pinch but did not wake, her cheeks blushed, at least shes thinking of something completely different while this is going on. The sheer ecstasy of finally filling his body and quelling his appetite was a heavenly feeling to him. He removed his fangs from the pink mare, careful not to wake her. NamelessTrax Posted March 23, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 Shadow heard his brother but couldnt stop, as he had feared his self hated love for ponies blood got to him, he closed his eyes in pain as he could not stop. Until finally he had no choice, with a hard kick against the bed frame, the mare flew awake and screamed in pain. Her high pitched scream woke up the other mare, "Lotus!" She said with a started look at Blood, she gasped in fear as she saw her sister. Finally Shadow was able to push off and let go, he froze in horror realizing he almost killed her. Shadow shook his head, "I-I-Im so sorry.." He sprinted to the window. Lotus moaned drowsily, "Aloe? Whats going on, I feel so weak..."
