Tehengu sighed slightly when Midnight finished and the professor was still telling a story about some Grimm hunt. Really, was he just trying to waste time? It certainly seemed that way. He looked back to Midnight's book as she began drawing strange symbols. Nothing he recognized.

"Well, we're supposed to be learning about Grimm in this class. It doesn't seem like we'll be getting to that today." He replied, watching her draw some more.

Midnight nodded her head, it didn't seem like they were learning anything other than hear stories of an old person.

"Yeah, doesn't look like it..." she went silent for a few seconds, before getting bored with the runes type symbols she was drawing "I...I have no idea what to draw..." she said to Tehengu, as if asking for a suggestion. She would kind of want to try draw him, but again, embarrassment and didn't want him to think she was weirder than she actually was.

Tehengu gave a hum at Midnight's words, trying to think up a suggestion for her to go off of. It was proving more difficult than he thought it would though. Between the story being told and... Other distractions, he couldn't seem to think of anything for her.

"I'm not really sure what you should draw, sorry." He said, looking at her. "Just draw what you want."

Midnight couldn't help but make a whine in protest, but it was quiet. That wasn't helpful in the slightest! It didn't tell her anything. She signed, before realizing that she might as well start, and hopefully keep it a secret from him until she felt more comfortable. She moved to a new page, and started an outline of a bow, trying to get Tehengu's bow in her mind and draw several attempts of it, trying to get it's look correct. Each time she didn't like how it looked, each time she hissed in frustration.

"The moral of the story? A true huntsman must be honorable. A true huntsman must be dependable. A true huntsman must be strategic, well educated, and wise. So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?" Port asked, putting his hand behind his back as he scanned the room.

Slash slowly put his hand up as he looked around for others.

Tehengu looked back to the professor as he left Midnight to whatever it was that she was drawing now. He listened as the professor finished up his story, listing off some traits and asking who thought themselves to be the embodiment of those traits. He wasn't sure about the wise part, but the others sounded like they fit him. Especially the strategic part. He raised his hand enough to be seen, looking around and spotting Slash raising his hand as well.

Midnight had mostly missed what the professor had been saying, and only listened after having given up trying to draw Tehengu's bow. She'd seen it a few times, but she couldn't pull an image to paper that fitted the image in her head. It just didnt' feel right. Maybe she needed another look at it, or even to fight against him again just to understand the feel of his weapon.

She heard the professor defining a huntress. Honourable, dependable, strategic, well educated and wise. Midnight knew it wasn't all of those, she wasn't honourable, she was a thief in many ways. she wasn't dependable, being a loner. She saw Slash at the front of the class put his hand up, and even Tehengu put his up. But Midnight kept her own hand down, that wasn't who she was.

Andrea chuckled at Slashs words " You don't say. " She grabbed her bag from Slash and tossed it onto the desk. Andrea turned her attention back toward professor whatever in time to hear the moral of the story. The moral was that a Huntsman needed to be Honorable, Dependable, Strategic, Educated, and Wise. Mr. mustache then requested that those who believed that they were embodiment of these to raise their hands. Andrea didn't even need to consider it, she fulfilled these traits and so many more .Andrea flung her hand in the air.

"Mr Slash Claw. Since you and your fellow teammates have raise your hands, as team leader, I would like you to choose either Mr Tehengu or Ms Indigo to see for they have the traits of a true huntsman!" Port said, holding his head high.

"Er....umm....well" Slash said, looking from Tehengu to Andrea. This is impossible, choosing between a friend and a partner who aren't getting along is difficult. "Can I nominate myself?" Slash asked.

"Absolutely not! As a team leader, you must have these traits in order to lead your team. You may be dependable, wise, or honorable, but are you sure you teammates are too?" Port asked.

Slash wanted to say yes, both may be missing a few but he would never doubt them. They are both his teammates, how can possibly choose? Does he choose as a team leader, or as a friend?

Tehengu snorted at Andrea raising her hand. He supposed she could act the way she did and still have those traits. He looked over at Midnight as she didn't raise her hand, but he said nothing about it. Wasn't the place to talk about it. He looked back to the front as the professor told Slash to pick one of them. Honestly, he wouldn't mind if he picked Andrea. They were partners after all, even if she was a jerk.

Slash looked from Tehengu, then back at Andrea. He was probably more confident with Tehengu, so this would be a good time to observe what Andrea does while she is fighting. She definitely is good to fight something, it's the only reason why Port asked him to choose. "I choose Andrea" Slash finally said, looking at the Professor.

"Very well, change into your usual clothes and bring your weapons. We will see if a true huntress is training amongst us!" Port said, pointing to some kind if box under a piece of canvas.

With an enthusiastic, " Yes! " Andrea reached inside of her bag, pulled out her switch blade gauntlet and slid under her oversized sleeve and onto her arm. Reaching back into her bag, Andrea pulled out a few different dust bottles. She then reached back and stuck her hand under her uniform pulling out her mid sized straight sword. Realizing, that she'd just pulled all of this equipment out infront of everyone, Andrea looked toward everyone and said. " What? I never go anywhere without my stuff. " With that, Andrea hopped over the desk and made her way to the front of the class.

Slash raised an eyebrow as he watched Andrea pill out all her weapons for her bag and under her clothes.

"Step forward and face your opponent" Port said, pulling the cloth to reveal a Grimm that looked like a boar inside a cage.

"Go Angel! Represent Team Samaritan!" Slash yelled with a big smile on his face.

"Alright! Let the match...begin!" Port said, picking up his axe-rifle and cutting the lock. The cage's door fell and the boar charged at Andrea.

Andrea stood across from the cage and gripped the handle of her sword. " Ready sir! " Andrea reached into her pocket, grabbed a bottle of multi coloured dust, then hopped into a battle stance. As it charged toward her, Andrea held her stance waiting for the perfect time to evade the beast. Waiting for the last possible moment, Andrea leaped over the beast performing a neat and completly unnessecary little 180 twist. Upon landing, Andrea slashed at the beast before putting some distance between it and her by leaping several feet back and stumbling a bit over the long pant legs. With the added, She crushed the bottle of mixed and tossed it toward the monster, creating a cloud of thick black smoke. With that, She unsheathed her switch blade. "*Shtick!* Huh!? " Andrea looked toward her wrist and.. " Oh no, Of all the times for it to jam... " The blades mechanism had caught a stray piece of fabric leaving the blade half ejected.

(JEEZ DREM! WTH TOOK YOU SO LONG!?)

Slash gawked as he watched Andrea's blade tear through the sleeves of the uniform. "Such...fine...fabric..." he muttered.

"Ho ho! Now what will you do when your weapon is jammed?" Port asked, watching the red eyes of the boar search for it's prey.

"Tear the sleeve off!" Slash yelled over the edge of his table. A drop of sweat slid down his head as he imagined trying to patch it later.

The boar squealed as it found Andrea by her scent, charging out of the smoke and curled into a fast rolling ball of armor.

"The tusks are going to tear her up if she doesn't fix her weapon" Slash said, gritting his teeth.

Midnight watched as Slash picked Andrea over Tehengu, and she placed her pencil down and, after a pause, placed her hand on Tehengu's shoulder "Well...on the bright side, it might get her to shutup.." she said, trying to get him to talk. While still embarrassed at what had happened with her book, Tehengu looked upset, or angry. And she didn't like it and hoped she might be able to make him happier.

Tehengu watched the fight impassively, examining how she fought. He wasn't really upset over Slash's decision, it gave him a chance to watch Andrea in action. He gave a grunt at Midnight's words, not giving a verbal response until a few seconds later.

"One can only hope." He said, looking at her for a couple seconds before cracking a smile.

Midnight and Tehengu must have forgotten that Slash was a faunus, or they wouldn't have been talking about Andrea behind her back...and his. He doesn't blame them for being upset about Andrea's behavior, but he isn't impressed about what they are doing now. If it gets out of hand, Slash would have to do something, as their friend and team leader. Slash continued to watch Andrea anxiously, being on the edge of his seat as the boar began rolling towards Andrea.

Midnight felt a smile creep on her face when Tehengu let one on his. She'd made him happier, which was her goal with what she'd said. She didn't want Andrea hurt, as much as just to calm the girls attitude issues.

"Well, lets just hope that she doesn't get hurt too badly, else she demands we carry her back to the room" she says, still trying to get and keep Tehengu in a good mood.

"Yeah." Tehengu said simply, turning back to watch the battle. As much as he didn't like her attitude, Andrea was still a teammate, and he didn't want his teammates getting hurt. Her less so than the others, but still.

" Not a problem! Just a minor set back!" on the outside, Andrea looked a tad irritated. But on the inside, she was having a small panic attack. Andrea was trying to untangle the sleeve from the mechanism, when that failed, She tried hitting the release button on the weapon. Ugh I think I need to force the blade all the way back inside. The boar having finally caught onto her scent, began charging at her while curled into a ball. As it was charging, Andrea timed another leap this time making sure to land on her hands. It was a crude and reckless way of forcing the blade back inside but, for the most part, it worked. Rushing back into the cloud of smoke, Andrea stopped for a moment and aimed her weapon toward the ground, and struck the release button, causing the blade to violently shoot out of the gauntlet, ricochet off of the ground and flip sporadically toward her audience. " Well, this could have gone better. " Andrea reached into her pocket, grabbed another dust bottle, crushed it, and applied to her sword. " Now things should start getting a little toasty " Andrea swung her sword vertically, sending a heat wave toward the beast and burning away the cloud.

Slash ducked as the blade narrowly misses his ear. "Careful Angel!" Slash yelled, hissing at her.

The boar squealed and stopped as it was burned, rolling on it's back to try and cool itself.

"Now's your chance! Strike it's belly!" Slash thought as he watched. If Andrea was thinking about the same thing, the fight would end in the next four seconds.
