Go on then, go tell Twilight, I’m sure she’ll be more forgiving than you think. In any case, those two knuckleheads had nothing to do with it, so leave them alone.” She said, gesturing towards her two male friends with that end part. Iggy giggled "Yes, go tell the princess that you couldn't handle a dragon-whelp and a lone hippgriff. I'm sure she'll be impressed with how you let a single kirin sneak inside her castle, that is quite professional of you" he smirked, letting her lips curl back menacingly to show her fangs The guards snorted and took a step back, realizing that Iggy was right, instead of being heros, they'd be looked on as incompetent "This isn't over you dragon-blooded freak!" exclaimed the guard "Oh, so we can add petty insults and racism to your report, I'm sure the princess will want to promote you immediately..." mocked Iggy The guard's nostrils flared as he snorted again, he was raging, but he knew he'd been beaten "Lets go, hoof, we'll report that there was an incident and the culprits were gone when we arrived" "But sir...!" "Thats an order!" the other guard gulped and nodded "Yes, sir..." "I wont forget this you freak, I'll be watching, and next time you slip up...." he turned on a dime and stormed off so angry you could almost see it radiating from him. After a moment, all three of them slumped to the ground, leaning against the castle wall "I didn't think we could pull that off" said cloudy "Me neither" said Jasper "I'm just glad they were embarked enough to retreat. That hadn’t exactly been her intention, but hey, it worked. “That’s that then, any ideas on what that spell did, now that we know it’s not any sort of plague?” She asked, looking over at Iggy. Ashton Posted February 22, 2020 Report Share Posted February 22, 2020 Iggy shook her head "Now that I know its not dangerous I can think more openly about it... my best guess is that since it was a divination spell, the reflected effect was likely still some form of divination effect... exactly what I dont know, and why it was reflected I dont know... but given the fact that Princess Twilight wasn't worried, it must not be detrimental, so... yeah... makes the most sense" "Nothing with you makes sense" smirked Jasper Iggy rolled her eyes and crossed her forelegs, annoyed Cloudy just laughed at the reaction. Alrighty then, guess it’s fine.” Angel shrugged, laying down entirely to watch the sky some more. “Now that that’s all figured out, anyone want to do anything else? I didn’t have plans for the day to begin with, but who knows when an adventure will pop up for me to run off on. Ashton Posted February 22, 2020 Report Share Posted February 22, 2020 "welll..." iggy kinda trailed off Cloudy sighed "We do a lot of oddjobs depending on what people need, in my case I do a lot of underwater salvage and recovery as well as some fishing and occasionally flying if there are no pegasai or griffons around" then corrected himself "I mean pegasai, griffons or Zebasai" he laughed awkwardly "And iggy does stugg with magic and jasper... he moves heavy things and lights fires..." Jasper smirked "They're trying to dance around the nerdyness of calling themselves adventurers" Cloudy and Iggy both blushed brightly at that "Or the shame of calling themselves grave robbers" added jasper "hey! retrieving an ancient artifact from a booby-trapp-filled temple or barrow..." "Is still grave-robbing" finished jasper with a vicious smirk Iggy just pouted again "As for me, I like to curl up in a patch of sunlight and listen to heavy metal" "He's a layabout" "complete bum" "hey!" jasper's lips pulled back in a snarl as steam began wafting out of his nostrils... but one harsh look from the other two and he just sat down and pouted like iggy. I dont really have a fully-planned expedition right now, but as always the more the merrier" Jasper rolled his eyes, far less enthusiastic, though whether it was because he wanted to group limited to his friends or he genuinely felt that angel wouldn't be a good addition was up for debate --- considering his close bond with iggy it was more likely the former though. As for Iggy’s words, that was fine. “Just let me know if you want me along when the time comes, I guess. "kidding. So it might be best to just contain it to that one room, let it burn itself out." Angel shrugged, looking back at the castle for a moment. "Or we could do options one and two at the same time, there are four of us here after all, we could split up." With that suggestion made, she at least moved off to contain the fire, letting them decide if they were going to actually stick around to fight the blaze. She was confident it wouldn't actually burn down the castle, castles were tough. Stone castles wouldn't burn down, let alone this crystal place. You dont think these creatures are dumb enough to believe 'we just found it like that!' do you?" commented Jasper Iggy sighed "good point" "Well then we need to clean up this mess Iggy made with her magic... again..." teased Cloudy Jasper paused and smirked "clean up... hey fire-butt, you remember when we first came to town, the spell you used that filled the house with soapy water... think you can do that again... maybe a little smaller this time?" Iggy was about to snark back but then realized the dragon had a point "ok... stand back" she said, getting to her feet and walking inside the castle doors. She closed her eyes and reopened them, pure white, as a complicated magic circle materialized around her "Ok, everycreature hide behind something!" exclaimed cloudy Without hesitation, jasper ran behind a tree as cloudy took refuge behind a large rock The circles glowed brightly as magic gathered around iggy, turning translucent; waterlike... then... *BOOM* *SPLASH* a large explosion of water errupted from the kirin, quickly extinguising the flames and soaking everyone and everything within a rather large radius.... She blinked a bit at the explosion of water, peeking out once things were done. “Well, that’s handy for firefighting. Now that that’s taken care of, how ‘bout we leave before someone else shows to to see what’s going on?” She said, flying back over to the group and looking around in case someone had already shown up.
