Please share some awesome musical numbers you've encountered as well as some total stinkers. I have tons, but I'll start out with a few at first just in case this thread doesn't really take off.Some of the best:The soundtrack version is ever better. It's like something out of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. In the case of this one, movie version is best. The soundtrack is censored! "There were bikinis and buns there were wienies" is changed to "There were bikinis, hotdogs, and wienies": This is waaay too catchy: Robin Hood some really great ones, but this is my favorite:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37bbj8HbM5IThe worst:OK, they're all bad in Rover Dangerfield, but this one takes the cake: I refuse to subject myself to the pain of seeing anything from that movie again, but totally anything from A Troll Center Park....I think I've repressed the bad ones. And since American Pop (a Ralph Bakshi movie) uses one of my least favorite songs EVER, I am including it (even worse, they have a slick character singing the song, a song that is so unabashedly blue collar in theme that I am not sure what they were thinking): I hate you Bob Seger. And we can't forget nearly ALL of the songs in the Heavy Metal 2000 movie. I don't even like the Bauhaus one, and I LOVE Bauhaus. i'm not going to post a link to it because even the trailer is extremely NSFW. I am rather fond of the original movie's soundtrack though, and I can even muster enthusiasm for the Sammy Hagar title track.My favorites (even though the animation is not the best) Think about your Troubles by Harry Nilsson. But that might be nostalgia, and the fact that I &*%*&^& LOVE Harry Nilsson. Ronnie James Dio singing, Music by Roger Glover of Deep Purple. Okay, generally due to having eevil adopted sisters, and later a slew of cousins, neices and nephews, I've had to endure some horrendous songs that sometimes made me question my overall love of animation. Thankfully the more atrocious ones have been blanked out of my mind by denial and repeated viewings of cartoon movies that are awesome.I had never even heard of this Titanic toon until now, and throwing RAP into the 1912 era on a death ship?! Okay, out of complete morbid curiosity I had to take a peek... oookay...I think we have a winner for worst... Whats next, MAUS as a musical?
