@QuickLime Sly Cooper is much more modern game then old PS1 platformer classics when it comes to gameplay. Coupled with how much starved people are for a good stealth title, I believe there would be recipients for even hybrid of one. If only we could get Splinter Cell back

The problem is, unlike Spyro and Crash, rights for Sly are in the pockets of Sony. And I am very doubtful if they would part with them. If anything, with PS5 approaching on the horizon, they may very well use those rights to make a starter title for a new console. Especially since Reignited and N Sane Trilogy proved that old-school platforms are profitable.

@QuickLime You not wrong about that one. But that's because it was made by Equinox Digital Entertainment , while original PS1 trilogy was created by Insomniac Games.
While reignited was made by some guys named Toys for Bob, Insomniac assisted a great deal with the development, with some additional aid from guys that made the Sly Cooper.
