  1. There seem to be some misconceptions floating around so allow me to clear the air.

Myth: Spending time with me is an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Fact: All currently living white tigers are severely inbred and descend from a single white cub that was captured in the 50s. Any sanctuary that claims they're an endangered species is not a sanctuary you should trust or give your money to.

Myth: I'm the kind of person who can show you a good time

Fact: All cub petting programs are unethical and are harmful both to the cats and the guests. Cubs that are young enough to be safely handled still have underdeveloped immune systems and can get sick from human contact, while older cubs are big enough to do some real harm to a guest. Constantly removing cubs from their mothers for guests to play with can lead to developmental issues.

      I'm sensing a trend here...

Myth: A cat’s eyesight is both better and worse than humans. It is better because cats can see in much dimmer light and they have a wider peripheral view. It’s worse because they don’t see color as well as humans do. Scientists believe grass appears red to cats.

Fact: Cakey Angie is a delight to have around.
