  1. Rain Maker, despite her attempts to be brave, squeaked and jumped when Mirage Riddle did. When it was a squirrel she glared at him. "You're afraid of a squirrel?" she said, shaking her head. Still, it was dark, and things could look like they weren't in the dark. "I'm coming, I ain't missing this adventure for nothing." she said with a chuckle. She looked over at Vacant Thought and stuck her tongue out at him. "Hush your logic." she said with a giggle.
  2. Best Disney Villain Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyS3weMlxLA Best Non-Disney Villain Song (Well, ostensibly. Elphaba is more of an anti-hero/Woobie than a villain.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I8pneJkxBY And speaking of "No Good Deed", every time I try to hum or sing "This Day" from the finale I always think of it. Am I the only one that hears a faint connection in the songs?
  3. What I was thinking, seriously, the moment Cadence said Changeling, due to watching DS9 all semester xD http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Changeling
  4. It does, but it's so quick. It happens right as she pulls Fluttershy off the ground, at least that's how I see.
  5. The animators have definitely come into their own. With two seasons under their belt, the animation here was ASTOUNDING. The facial expressions, with subtle nuances like the look Shining Armor gives Cadence when he sees her walking up the aisle during the rehearsal, or that look RD gives Fluttershy before the quick kiss, are SPOT ON. This finale likely wouldn't have hit half as hard if it was the S1 finale. Watch Cadence's song, This Day. I was seriously creeped out by the rapid changes in Evil Cadence's expressions.
  6. So, I actually just noticed something. It was a blink and you miss it moment, and because my Livestream was acting up during the last half of part 2, I missed it the first time. Rainbow Dash kisses Fluttershy in this episode. I'm entirely serious. Time code 01:26 will put you closest to the mark in this video. It's heart-meltingly adorable to see the look on RD's face when she sees Fluttershy is safe, then kiss her and fly off.
  7. "Thanks, b'y." Muggo' said when Dunder offered some food he had left over. He started to eat, then looked up at Parhelion and nodded down at the hay. He wasn't going to eat all of it, and he figured Dunder wouldn't mind sharing a bit more of it. "Dunno. I don't remember a whole lot of me first Winter Wrap Up. I fell asleep before the end of it." he explained. When he was done eating he straightened up and thanked Dunder again for the food. "Let's get back to work, eh?" he said to Parhelion and anypony else around him, stretching and stamping his hooves to get himself ready for the last push. They were almost done! Everything looked a lot more like spring, which was good. "Just a bit more to go."
  8. Dapper Dan had, by this point, made his way to the dance floor. With instructions from a nearby mare he figured out what he was doing soon enough, and felt like part of the town for once. He looked up after a moment to see the dynamic on stage had changed a bit. Haymaker was totally out of it with sadness, talking to a large stallion near the stage he'd never seen before. He noticed her look at him with a bit of a distraught look, so he made his way over, having caught only various words from the conversation. Amidst Doc Holly Day berating Haymaker's siblings, Dapper Dan walked over, standing next to Boxer. "Are you...wait, dumb question." he said, realizing he'd been about to ask her if she was okay. Of course she wasn't. With an embarrassed look he adjusted his glasses before speaking. "What's wrong, Haymaker?" he asked, looking at Boxer, then back at her, waiting for somepony to fill him in. He felt left out, and a little dim at the moment. He'd taken a liking to the white mare...sure, she had a bit of a temper, but so did everypony if provoked. It wasn't like she was angry and looking for a fight all the time, at least not from what he saw.
  9. Dapper Dan nodded, taking a moment to look at the donkey in the mirror and mentally plan out what he was going to do. Once he did, he nodded at what Thorn said. "I did, actually. You're quite the cook." he said with a smile. He levitated up a comb and slowly brought it through the wiry mane to get it a little less tangled. "I'm still getting used to the dust myself. I was born in Fillydelphia. It's totally different out here." he said, chuckling as well. "I don't think I've ever been to the B 'n' B, but I'll check it out." he added. Once Thorn's mane was worked out with the comb, he brought up a pair of scissors and got to work trimming. "You two old friends then?" he asked casually, meaning Madam Bistro and Thorn. He wondered what would bring a donkey to this town.
  10. Ace is the name for the tennis player pony, from Call of the Cutie. Also, Tales and the rest of the crew get swamped often with the amount of apps, and they also tend to look at the apps lowest on the list first.
  11. I'm a closet brony. If asked about it I would explain it. The only reason I don't make it obvious is because I don't want to explain it to people that wouldn't get it, or not have the chance to and be seen as strange. I'll be telling my friends soon though, as I know they'll understand...all are fans of old 90s cartoons, just like MLP is like.
  12. Wind Rider was walking up to the show, wearing the tan shirt of his forest ranger uniform, but no hat. He wouldn't need the hat, it being night and everything. He was here for two reasons...one, he was a sucker for good shows. Wonderbolts shows, fireworks, a good air race...all of it excited him. Two, he was there in uniform on a just in case basis...he figured it would be safe but it was always better to actually be safe. After all, if a fireworks display went wrong, things could go downhill, fast. He figured that it would be smart to be there, as he could spring into action fast if need be. Until then though, Wind Rider would enjoy himself. He had a good view of the stage, sitting on a blanket and chatting idly with some of his neighbours from in the town. They talked about...whatever! The weather that day, latest developments in the town, or even the family of foxes Wind Rider had seen on his early morning patrol, walking in the fields near Fet Loch. After a moment, Wind stretched out his wings, watching the workers for the show walking about the stage, getting last minute preparations done on everything. He was excited now for the show...he hadn't seen a good fireworks display in AGES! Partly it came from being busy with patrols, and as such he was excited for this one. Even a mediocre show would have Wind Rider enjoying the evening.
  13. I know, but I was going full Hipster proper pronunciation mode xP Though I'm not actually the kind of person to correct people's actual pronunciation of things IRL.
  14. It is pronounced that way. You're actually close for the Italian pronunciation, which would be "Cah-denza", if my memory of the language is serving me right.
  15. [No worries, I understand. I kinda dropped the ball myself.] Dapper Dan chuckled. Forming a barbershop quartet would definitely be fun to try one day. But that was something for another time. He nodded and nodded a head toward the chair. "Sit on down then, and I'll get started." he said. Once Thorn did, he floated a black cloak-like piece of fabric over, draping it over the donkey's back to keep the cut mane hair from falling everywhere. "Keep it the same height, or do you want me to cut it down a bit?" he asked, meaning the mane, as Dan levitated over a spray bottle of water and used it to wet Thorn's mane. After he got his answer, he began his usual habit of chatting. "So, you from Appleloosa? Can't say I've seen you around, but hey, I'm fairly new to the town myself." he said. Small as it was, he didn't know everypony just yet. "And heck, maybe I'm just not awake enough yet to recognize ya." he added, chuckling. [i also would say don't worry too much about it...it's more of a casual thread anyways.]
  16. Shoot, you beat me to the punch xD I was thinking in the shower earlier today about how I wanted to app this character. Well done though, I like it ^^
  17. Heck, Jeremy Irons as a hero is good. See: Brom in Eragon, aka the only decent acting in the entire movie.
  18. Video related. That's another voice I could listen to all day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jpgy21r_dRE
  19. "Of course I'm coming, duh!" Rain Maker said with a grin, trotting alongside Riddle as everypony entered the forest. She looked back at Vacant Thought and grinned. "Oh, don't be such a baby. What could possibly happen? You look strong enough to defend us, and we have his magic-" she motioned with a hoof toward Mirage Riddle, chuckling. "And if things go bad, there's two pegasi to help carry you two out. What are you afraid of? Some big bad monster?" she teased. She flared out her wings and jumped at Vacant with a shout, doing it all suddenly to try and get him to jump. "It's just a forest. If it was that dangerous to ponies, Ponyville wouldn't exist." she pointed out after returning her wings to their proper position at her side.
  20. Bruce Campbell as VA? Oh my gosh xD George Takei would be hilarious, and my inner geek would LOVE to see him here, as strange as it would be. Personally, I'd like to see more of John De Lancie because I love his voice, but his voice is far too recognizable for him to do anything BUT Discord again. I'd also like to hear Steve Blum. I have no idea what Steve Blum could possibly voice in MLP (maybe a villain or crazy awesome hero), but look at the man's list of VA credentials. It spans a mile, and he's probably one of the most recognized voices for male characters in the modern day. If it isn't Nolan North in a video game, chances are it's Steve Blum. And speaking of "If it isn't X then it's Y", Jennifer Hale needs a role. Flip a coin when watching a cartoon where the female character has a familiar voice. Heads, it's Tara Strong, tails, it's Jennifer Hale. That, and being a Canadian-produced show, it can't be THAT hard to get a Canuck on board
  21. Related is that feeling when you wake up too early, realize you have nothing pertinent to do that day, and you fluff up your pillows, turn them over, and get comfortable again. My favourite feeling? When that one song comes on the radio that you and your seatmates in the car all like, and you all start singing. There's nothing quite like whipping down a country highway with four good friends singing "Don't Stop me Now".
  22. Muggo' swept off his hat and sat right there next to the reservoir to take a short break. All that excitement had drained his energy. He looked up at Cloudchaser and grinned at her little joke, then stood back up, thumping Dunder gently on the shoulder. "I think ya might have yerself a new friend, b'y." he whispered, chuckling. He stretched and looked around. "I'm right famished, anywhere I can get me some food?" he asked. He just now noticed how hungry he was, from working and fighting off an angry manticore. They still had work to do, but it looked like it was getting done quickly...he could spare a few minutes to eat a bit before going back at it.
