Conor Colton

Despite his well traveled nature, Colton was never really one for Nightmare Night. Both he and Sparks would of course participate in the holiday, sporting outfits and having as grand a time as they could but could never really wrap their heads around what was so compelling about dressing up like somepony you weren't and going around asking for sugary sweets and pranking ponies...though whenever he brings those points up he may as well have answered his own question. Regardless, the stallion and sparrow had found themselves in Ponyville for this darkest of nights, dressed in a rather simple yet still functional getup. Colton sported a dark cloak, and with it some matching dark claw shaped boots, and in his jaw there were some teeth with fake fangs, given the impression of Colton being a creature of the night, or, more colloquially, a vampire. Sparks didn't have much to work with, given that he was just a sparrow, but he found a few things and Colton had helped fashion said things into some makeshift wing extensions and some pointed ears. In these outfits the pair looked like a vampire lord and his trusty pet bat, "[colour=#40e0d0]Not bad for like a night of preparation.[/colour]" The pegasus stated confidently. They made their way through the quote, 'spooky' streets of Ponyville, taking in all the sights, sounds and on one or two occasions, smells; looking for anything that would tickle their fancy in terms of entertainment. They came across an assortment of stalls; from apple dunking to candied apples to spider throwing to even balloon animals, "[colour=#40e0d0]Balloon animals?[/colour]" Colton inquired absentmindedly as he read a sign on said stall saying 'Sorry. Ran out of ideas.', "[colour=#40e0d0]Ah.[/colour]" He stated. All around all he could spot was ponies and monsters, ponies and monsters, ponies and monsters as far as the eye could see. He flew into the sky to get a better look and he saw, what else, ponies and monsters. He lowered himself back down to the ground, and nodded to the oddly dressed sparrow on his shoulder, "[colour=#40e0d0]So, what now?[/colour]" He asked as Sparks proceeded to make several squeaking noises, "[colour=#40e0d0]What?[/colour]" Colton inquired as the bird squeaked again, "[colour=#40e0d0]Sparks, you don't have to be in character...Well you can be, but please don't.[/colour]" He replied with a glare as Sparks sighed and went back to chirping his response, "[colour=#40e0d0]Ring toss?[/colour]" The vampire pegasus questioned, "[colour=#40e0d0]Well...better than nothing, right?[/colour]" He replied as the two made their way to the ring toss, spotting a nearby candied apple vendor.

Smiling yet, 'cause I certainly am If the pic didn't work though, I shall offer an old saying I try to live by. "Creativity. Positivity. Not negativity."

*Starts video* *Reads credits* That is amazing right there!

Pandora is indeed very adorable. ^.^ If there were to be a spawn of Discord I would imagine it would be something like Pandora, everything just seems to fit very nicely and is rather believable. It's clear that some thought has gone into making Pandora a legitimate and likable character, and not just somebody who'd be like "Lol, spawn of Discord, kneel please." I look forward to see what you do with her, she is quite interesting from what I've read

Hey, your character here looks very nice, and looks like it's got off to a great start. I rather like the design and execution of Winter and I think she's going to be a great addition to the Mane RP ^_^ Two things I would suggest that may need a touch up though are a bit of her past, before her cutie mark, and how she is in more social situations. You make it clear that she loves flowers and first got interested in them by visiting Whitetail woods, but perhaps you could explain it a tad more where this initial interest came from? Maybe due to her shyness she was brought there by others and was entranced by what she saw? Or maybe a parent of hers had an interest in botany and had told her about the woods beforehand, sparking an interest? It's a small detail really but in my opinion it helps those reading about her to get a better idea of what she is like, given where her interest would have came from. And as for the subject of social situations, you've said that she interacts with her customers and aims to please them but perhaps you could mention how she acts around other ponies? You said she's easy to talk to in her now mature age but maybe more examples of her personality could be given, like say, is she gentle or kind or quirky, anything really, and that gives people a better idea of how Winter will act in certain situations, but leaves room for spontaneity and excitement in the actual RPs she'll be in. That's pretty much it really. These are just my opinions though, you know your character better than anybody else. Hope the suggestions helped though and I'm looking forward to seeing how Winter develops

Hey, Huscarl Your character here looks very interesting, I'm liking the whole 'snake oil pony' thing you have going on, it's very creative. And also, his name be one of the greatest I have ever seen grace the site, I just had to chuckle when I read it But as I was reading through it, I found myself wondering about Foxglove's sense of adventure, and exactly where he got it from. Don't get me wrong, an adventurous attitude is always good but a way I would improve a character like this would be to give them reason why they loved adventure so much. Perhaps he could have come across a Daring Do book once or twice, and since he lived in the less economical part of the city he would end up cherishing them a lot more and would want to aspire to be like Daring herself? And also, you could include a small segment from his foal-hood somewhere between his discovery for what he wanted to be and his discovery of his love of adventure? Like him trying new adventurous things and seeing what would fit, a CMC approach to things perhaps? In my opinion it would give us a better perspective on how he interacts with those he's trying to impress rather than just saying he has impressed them, giving us a better idea of his approach and a better idea of what he is like. Apart from that though I think this app is great, very creative and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it Hope my suggestions were of use

Hey, I was looking at your chatacter and I have to say he looks very interesting, rather neat actually I like how you give his parents a believable character, and making them upper-class without being very stuck up, it's a refreshing take on rich parents I haven't seen in a while, so kudos to you on that one But I noticed you didn't really include that much detail on how Charles here got his cutie mark. I can understand his love of music, and that a bass would be something that would help him discover his cutie mark but perhaps there is room for something far more special behind it, like say he was given a chance to perform in the same Opera House he loved so much and was met with lots of praise, leading to his cutie mark? Or maybe he was having trouble getting the hang of the bass but he was met with inspiration one night and wrote his first song, leading to his cutie mark? These are all of course just suggestions but in my opinion, having a personal struggle your character needs to overcome to achieve their cutie mark makes them far more characterized and 3-dimensional. Apart from that though I think this is a great app and I look forward to seeing how it develops and wish you the best of luck in getting it approved.

Colton'e ears perked up as Telki announced her hobby. The pegasus had come across something he can't quite recall ever coming across before, that being, another adventurer. He wondered, what was he supposed to do in this situation? Usually when he met individuals he would show them his exploits from his journal, but he was now talking to a pony who could do pretty much the exact same thing, it was perplexing to say the least. He turned to Gerrard to respond, still interested in what Telki had to say though, "[colour=#40e0d0]I can relate. New experiences are always awesome, especially when it involves new ponies...and as for the Wonderbolts, while that is surprising, I don't really follow them to be honest.[/colour]" He chuckled. Upon reaching the end of that sentence though, he remembered something, something he thinks was relevant, "[colour=#40e0d0]I have met one of them though. From what I saw from her, they're nice enough ponies.[/colour]" He smiled, Sparks nodding with him, the small bird still wondering over Gerrard's suggestion of egg whites. The white pegasus then recalled what Telki had said about her hobby, responding in suit, "[colour=#40e0d0]Again, I can relate. Me and Sparks are always out looking for work, in fact that's pretty much what led us to this job, go figure.[/colour]" He shrugged, looking back at the mare as they walked, "[colour=#40e0d0]So you do a fair bit of adventuring too then? Care to share a story or two?[/colour]" He inquired.

Dawn nodded in approval as he was welcomed into this now sizable group of adventurers. For the mostly city-raised pegasus the thought of spontaneous adventure such as this should have been perceived as mad, however at this point the pegasus came to a conclusion; he simply did not care. For once in his life, Dawn was ready to throw caution to the wind and wonder where the great road of life would take him and what experiences said road would hold. It was a rather liberating feeling, and Dawn breathed in every moment of it. "[colour=#b22222]Thank you. I will indeed hold strong.[/colour]" Dawn replied blankly to Mjolna, smiling internally as he turned himself back towards the bar in the hopes of getting a drink to start this journey off. However, he felt compelled to turn his head as a new figure entered the scene, one that seemed very statuesque and imposing to say the least. The pegasus let out a slight 'Hmm' noise as he couldn't shake the feeling that this pony was...different, unlike anything he had ever seen or encountered; the same could be said for most of today though so he simply shrugged it off, but still with a niggling thought in the back of his mind. The pegasus contemplated the situation heavily, wondering if he did indeed have the necessary provisions to be and effective medic and navigator out in the field. But then a realization hit him, that this would indeed be a dangerous journey. The pegasus nearly smacked himself for not considering all of the implications of this. He believed himself to be capable in a bout however, and realized he would need something, like a weapon. He looked around, not expecting to find much, until he looked in his pack and found a survival knife, one he had used to get here. He sighed and whispered to himself, "[colour=#b22222]It'll have to do, Dawn...[/colour]" He uttered begrudgingly as he attached a sheath to his side and secured the instrument carefully, before paying for his accommodation for the night. ---- As he lay in his room that night, he couldn't help but mull over the situation, thinking to himself, "[colour=#b22222]Hmm...okay, Dawn...you're heading out to Celestia knows where with a group of ponies you've never even met to dangers you probably have no idea about...why is that such an enticing concept?[/colour]" He wondered, smirking slightly, "[colour=#b22222]Everypony else seems pretty confident and capable...so I'll just have to be the same...After tonight, there's going to be a new Darkest Dawn in the morning.[/colour]" He concluded before drifting into a deep slumber. ---- The morning had came as briskly as it left, leading Dawn outside with the rest of the party. He readied himself as he witnessed a few individuals going on ahead towards the prospect of discovery, laughing as they did. This caused the pegasus to smirk slightly, even chuckling along with them as he followed them into the unknown, keeping himself ready for any task that would best suit his abilities. Standing at the ready just behind Mjolna as he trotted along. He got right into the adventuring spirit and after hearing a loud roar from an accompanying member, he grinned and shouted, "[colour=#b22222]Ya! Onward![/colour]" He bellowed rather spontaneously, not caring one bit as he kept his eyes on the area map, however not before throwing his previous employment contract into the deep snow.

Going by the title I'm guessing this is still open so may as well fire a request in I would be very much appreciative if you would make me two RP banners for my two OCs Here's a reference to both of them That's just me in the middle, ignore me Anyway, the two OCs on the left and right I would like banners for, please The one on the left, his name is Colton Cloudkicker. And the one on the right, his name's Darkest Dawn. Just a basic one with their portraits in it would be very nice, and the backgrounds just their own colours in a nice fashion. Ah right, thanks for the suggestions there Corsair. I didn't really grasp how the whole REA thing worked so thank you I've rewritten the app to make him a trainee of the REA like you suggested, hope we can work forward now

Dawn sat idly on the train car, occasionally looking outside as their destination loomed ever closer. He turned to Promontory to see if he was just as excited to reach their destination as he was. Sadly though, the pegasus was met with a sight of Promontory trying to remove whatever was lodged in his hoof. Dawn took a moment, as well as a deep breath and convinced himself not to look or say anything as the stallion accompanying him performed near enough surgery on himself in a train car. He would have kept his idle mind exactly that, but the sound of Promontory in pain behind him continued to bother him, to the point where he just turned around and belted out a question, "[colour=#b22222]Is this really the time or the place, Promontory? We're on a dang train car and you're pulling stuff out of your hoof, surely you could just wait until we get to Ponyville? Honestly, a rickety train car isn't a good place to be doing...whatever you're doing![/colour]" Dawn started as he felt like he was shouting at the stallion, but honestly, he was. "[colour=#b22222]I know it probably hurts but there's no need to subjugate yourself to more pain, especially here of all places. And, to be honest, it's kinda hard to enjoy trip when all I can hear is you trying to dislodge a bit of metal from your hoof. I'm sorry but would you give it a rest or something until we get to Ponyville?[/colour]" Dawn asked, feeling he may have said too much, and too strongly. In his mind he could only think about how Promontory was about to rage at him, he braced himself for the worst. Whether the worse would come or not remains to be seen.

Colton lowered himself back down to the ground as Mojo corrected himself in not recognizing the pegasus before. He turned to Dawn and couldn't do anything except grin and make a snarky remark, "[colour=#40e0d0]Somepony's memory seems a tad off.[/colour]" Colton stated, imitating Dawn's voice as best he could but also being out of tune to the point of being smart, "[colour=#40e0d0]Somepony needs to have more faith in other ponies it seems.[/colour]" Colton finished as he patted his pegasus friend on the back. "[colour=#b22222]Yeah yeah, go socialize. And I do not sound like that.[/colour]" Dawn chuckled as Colton went to do just that. Sparks departed from Colton and hovered in front of Dawn with a smile on his face, "How a bird can put up with him all the time I will never know." Dawn chuckled once more as he gave the sparrow a pat on the head, "[colour=#b22222]Enjoying yourself then?[/colour]" He asked the small avian companion. Sparks nodded and then waved his wing towards all the singing and festive cheer going on a few feet away from them, "[colour=#b22222]...I'll get to it later.[/colour]" Dawn responded, to which the sparrow started dragging him towards everypony else, "[colour=#b22222]...Fine.[/colour]" Dawn sighed. "[colour=#40e0d0]Ah don't worry about it, Mojo. Happens to the best of us. I've been great, been around a few new places and such. And how about you? Last time I saw you you were working a market stall, now it seems like you have a whole choir with ya.[/colour]" The blue haired pegasus chuckled as he stood and listened to the singing that was going on. Dawn, being dragged in by a small bird, couldn't help but listen in on said singing as well. Once this brief song by Starflower had finished, the two pegasi and bird couldn't help but clap their hooves and or wings. "[colour=#b22222]So, what's planned for today then?[/colour]" Dawn inquired.

Colton was pleased that Telki seemed happy with the current state of affairs as he turned to answer Gerrard's question, "[colour=#40e0d0]Well, I only really have one hobby to speak of. I travel a lot. And when I go someplace new, I always keep it in the journal I've been carrying around for years now...so...travelling and sc-rap booking I suppose.[/colour]" The pegasus chuckled as he took a peek at his journal nestled in his saddlebag. Sparks had a little search inside of said saddlebag and pulled out a small seed packet. The bird pecked the bag open and began sampling, what were considered to be, 'delicacies' by bird standards. However the small sparrow merely spat one out the first chance he got. "[colour=#40e0d0]Always a picky eater...[/colour]" Colton shrugged as he turned to Gerrard once again, "[colour=#40e0d0]Due to large amounts of travelling, Sparks has seemed to get a taste for real food and not...well...bird food.[/colour]" The pegasus shrugged once more. "[colour=#40e0d0]But, anyway, what do you do when you're not entertaining me then, Gerrard? Any hobbies to speak of?[/colour]" The stallion questioned before posing the same question to Telki, "[colour=#40e0d0]And what about you Telki? Do you have any pastimes to speak of? Just thinking since we're all working together I'd like to get to know ya's a bit more.[/colour]" Colton finished, "[colour=#40e0d0]And yeah, are we nearly there, Gerrard?[/colour]" Colton added to Telki's question.

For now I'd much rather stick with the whole royal guard thing for him, sorry, just how I want to play with this character Somewhere down the road I may consider his career going down a different path but right now, I'd much rather have him train to be a royal guard and get opportunities for other careers later

He more so wants to be a royal guard more than anything, but if the opportunity presented itself he could apply for higher positions. And I edited and gave you credit for the name of this guy, thanks again
