Yeah, this is my line of thought. I doesn't sound too much will change. But I wonder what exactly is meant when she made the announcement. If it's just a title change and the writing and artist staff is pretty much the same people, I don't even know why it's worth mentioning. I don't know. I'm a big fan of LOST. LOST was created by J. J. Abrams, and he wrote the first two episodes, and that's pretty much it. He was known for the mastermind of a show that was (Although it didn't end particularly well) and it lasted for 6 powerful seasons, only the first he was really a part of. I'm not worried. But I still don't like the bad news this early. I could have coped with it better after the first episode of season 2, so that I can see visual proof of my ponies not turning into a crappy show... Mixed feelings indeed.

Interesting read. But it speaks from many bronies hearts, not just this one. It reminded me of something I have been thinking lately: Could MLP be a saving grace for the Internet? I mean, it is kind of silly. But over the years, the Internet has spiraled into a fierce tornado of hate and spam, and it seamlessly grows non-stop with nothing in this way. But ponies, yes ponies, like little browsing-the-web antibodies, are attempting to kill the nonsense with 'rainbows'. Could MLP fandom be "The Chosen One" that will bring balance to the internet? Probably not, but I'd like to entertain the fact.

And I've just re-realized that you put Rarity in a no win situation. She's either truly stupid, or she's a player. Poor Rarity...

Yes, and she probably has some guilt about it and thus doesn't ask him for anything someone who wasn't a friend or wanted to help wouldn't do for her anyway. Maybe they'll make an episode with 'not taking advantage of someone' as the moral, and the "relationship" will finally be addressed for realz. Yeah, I have been waiting for that song too. It will be my first major disappointment if there's nothing to squeal about in "The Best Night Ever" as far as songs go. Since that quote from Ingram, the best song IMO, is Fluttershy's "What is This Place?"

Well, I guess it all depends what kind of little kid you were. If you were a little girl, I can't imagine having negative thoughts about the show unless a strong religious conviction was present. But if you were a charming young boy who watched My Little Pony when you came home from school, then I could see a more prevalent reason why parents would fret. maybe I've got pony-vision now, but I think that MLP is becoming more socially acceptable every day. By the way, you mentioned furry fandom. Wasn't the concept and design of the G4 characters established long before the premiere of the first episode?

Had I done a little research into the show before watching it, I suppose I would have thought good things of it, too. The problem was, I wasn't it a place to be looking up what Laura Faust was up to since PPG had finished. Only on a random freak occurance would I have been able to forsee the awesomeness. Are you a long time fan of MLP? Tell me how you saw it coming...
