I can't stand time travel, because it always has holes. I'll make an exception for the stellar stories. but everything else gets judged harshly. The part that most irritated me about the concept for looper is that it makes no sense for the LAST kill to be yourself. The way it SHOULD work is that they send you yourself first, and if you pass the test, you get to keep going.

Wow, "somepony I used to know" would have been incredible. It would make you wonder about her past, rather than associating her with the painfully shallow "call me maybe" But yeah, a more passive dislike would have been better. Fair enough. The post sounded disappointed, even if it wasn't said outright. How many surprises do you want? Or did you just see through almost all of them?

Ah, perhaps that is why the art felt better. And maybe the main series art will grow on me but it is still unsatisfying at this point. It is also refreshing that the slice of life nature of this comic matches the show better than the main series. I don't understand. Were you coming into it expecting an epic adventure? If you liked the puns, the plot, the characters, etc, then why the disappointment?

Neat. This is the best of the four comics thus far and not because the others are weak. Is it perhaps more accurate to say it starts off deliberately slow paced? This matches the progress that Twylek/Spotlight/Flashlight/Try-like/Spackle/Twilight makes. In addition to the interesting story, redemption, and Celestia at her best. It is nice to see Celestia participating closely in Twilight's training and giving her meaningful and important assignments. Furthermore, the last line was perfect. Here are the puns/references that I noticed: "series with the vampire pony" (Twilight!) Ponies (pride) and Prejudice Horseback (hunchback) of Notre Dame How to train your [baby] dragon Mare (mad?) about you Neigh (way) of the warrior Marble (Marvel) Universe "I know it's crazy, but call me mane (maybe)" Ugh. Even Twilight!? What terrible taste in music! "Boogie Woogie Pony (Bugle) Boy of Company C" I have no snout (mouth) yet I must whinny (scream) Barns and No Bell (Nobel) Not to mention the graphic novel quip aimed at us! And a few things that felt like they could be references: Canter in the sky (ah, I cheated: Catcher in the Rye) Jade Singer (J.D. Salinger, follows from above) Cesium Grande Lipizzaner Re-Cant If any of those mean something, let me know.

How interesting. The Lyra Plushie was enough to get Bon Bon back! Could someone explain the mistake that Bon Bon is making in the TF2 game? I've never played.
