They are the same in the comic. Chrysalis: "I am losing my patience with you three" Scootaloo: "Losing patients is how we messed up getting a dentistry cutie mark." Or: "what would a cutie mark for getting foal-napped even look like?"

Which illuminates the primary problem with the CMC. After 3 seasons they STILL haven't learned that they are trying too hard, or to develop their existing talents. Nearly every episode featuring them is painful.
