Admittedly, it is not a bad problem to have, but it is much easier to be a member who doesn't know everybody than a leader who doesn't know everybody.

Last match was silly, because the writers just described the pictures, rather than coming up with a related phrase, so it was the same from the third player until the end. I fully admit to be part of the problem. It is ok, in fact it is GOOD, to be cryptic. The line I received this time was much vaguer/better.

Today I realized that I have peed in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. If I can get up to the Arctic Ocean, I will have the set. And I am only 500 miles away...

Today I was determined to get to work first. So I arrived at 6:00am, only to discover that a co-worker beat me by a minute. My Life is Average.

Today I was hanging license plates on one of my walls, and I put four nails in my mouth for easy access. Two of them disappeared. I discovered them later, sticking out of my beard.

Today I went hiking. It was the fifth time I had tacked this simple 3.8 mile loop to the top of a big hill, and the fourth time I turned back early. I need hiking friends made of sterner stuff.

If your friends aren't able to hike 8, how the heck do you think they can do 16? Or are you doing Pt. A to Pt. B? We usually do day hikes as A to A. Our overnights are A to B.

This would be point A to point B. We would get back by one of us hitchhiking back to the car. I have plenty of friends who could hike 8 miles no problem. The challenge is getting them to come, and getting the people who can't hike 8 miles not to come without being mean.

Today in our team meeting, we went 15 minutes over...again. Our boss requested that we wave the bulls*** flag whenever we get onto a topic that wastes everyone's time. Bringing an actual bulls*** flag to a meeting sounded fun so I googled "bulls*** flag" and the second link was my country's flag. (sigh)

Tutoring kids: 90% encouragement, 10% teaching. Most of them are one more disappointment away from complete shutdown, and when that happens, the rest of the day is wasted.

While on vacation from Alaska, I just stuffed myself so full of fine Texas BBQ that I was unable to keep it all down. Totally worth it! Excuse me while I return to the toilet...
