  1. Sweet was about to get an answer from Priincess Cadance when suddenly a group of ponies literally fell into the room. Then another pony asked for a piece of fudge. "Oh sure you can have a piece of fudgealicious fudge," she said as she gave one to her. Sweet waitined for her opinion on it while at the same time waiting to see if the Princess still wanted one.
  2. (OOC: Wow! Lots of posts to read. Sorry about not posting. This will be a sum up one.) "Hello there Crimson Nova," Sky said to the pony that greeted him. He knew that he had to make a great first impression to the pony that was going to be judging his flying talent. He then saw the other pony was a Wonderbolts member! Sky resisted the urge to squeal like a fanboy at seeing one of his idols. "Hey, nice to meet you too, Fleethoof. So, you're here to judge too, eh? Well, that's cool. I always like to see lots of ponies see my skills." Crimson then asked for his name and offered some goggles to use. "My name's Sky Flare. I'm a stunt pony from around here. And that's ok, I brought my own goggles," with that he pulled out a pair from his saddlebag and put them on so they rested on his forehead, "I have to be protected when doing my stunts!"
  3. RP Type: Main Name: SSG. Night Watcher Gender/ Age: Mare Species: Pegasus Pelt Color: Jet Black Mane/Tail Color & Style: Silvery White. Night Watcher keeps her mane short, similar to Rainbow Dash. Some ponies for this reason think she’s a stallion, but they are quickly reminded otherwise. Eye Color: Purple Physique: Tall and athletic, Night keeps herself physically active through flight drills, combat sparring, swimming, or other activities. Cutie Mark: A kite shaped shield, representing her duty to protect and defend. Accessories: Staff Sergeant Class armor, Lunar Guard type. It is similar to the regular Canterlot Guard Armor, but silver instead of gold and adorned with Lunar Guard crests (Princess Luna’s cutie mark) Residence: Canterlot Occupation: Staff Sergant in the Royal Equestrian Army (REA) Lunar Division. Motivation: To protect the Princesses especially Luna, to uphold the safety of Canterlot and Equestria, to advance in the ranks. Likes: honor, duty, peace, order, recruits who obey their orders, a job well done, her weakness to peppermints Dislikes: slackers, those who threaten the safety of the Princesses or Equestria, those who test her patience. Skills: Advanced ground combat, advanced aerial combat, survival skills, tactics, Equestrian history, Magical creatures and lore training, gryphon and dragon culture training. Character Summary: Night Watcher was born into a military family. Her father, Stormwing, was a Major General in the royal Equestrian Army, and her mother, Urgent Care, was an REA medic. Her father, at least she believed, would rather that Night was born a colt rather than a filly. Nevertheless he was a loving parent, albeit having a zero tolerance policy on disobediance. Night as a young filly was at first very rebellious to her parents, disobeying them and as she got older staying out late roaming the streets of Canterlot. It wasn’t her parents she was upset about, but it was Night’s desire to be free from somepony controlling her life. One night Night Watcher was roaming the streets when she saw a young colt being harrassed by two ponies. She positioned herself between the colt and his attackers and fought them off until they fled. It was then that she realized that she liked protecting others and did well doing so. This inturn produced her cutie mark, a shield,. She didn't think much of the altercation as she helped the pony home, but this set up for a new path in life. Sure enough, Nightt was summoned to a meeting with Colonel Iron Hoof of the Royal Equestrian Army. He explained that it was his son that she protected that night. He admired her courage and willingness to risk her own safety to help another. He asked her if she wanted to join the REA, as she showed, in his opinion, the potential for a great general. When she her concern of control, the captain said that in reality the military has rules and procedures in orser for ponies to achieve their best potential. With those assuring words, Night Watcher joined the military. Basic training was grueling, and a few times she was going to quit. Yet she remembered her parents, Colonel Iron Hoof, and the colt she protected and pressed on. She quickly rose through the ranks, and her first test was in defending Ponyville during the return of Nightmare Moon. After that event, she was given a rather interesting assignment to become a part of the newly reformed Lunar Guard. This military group was established back before Luna was banished to the moon and was under her command. At first, Night had her doubts as she had seen Luna as Nightmare Moon and thus was nervous of what her division would entail. Yet she still accepted the position and was promoted to a Staff Sergant for her efforts. Recently Night Watch was involved with protecting Canterlot from an unknown threat, which turned out to be Queen Chrysalis and her army of changelings. Now Canterlot is still under high security, and Night Watcher is there to protect the city and Equestria from any threat.
  4. When Sweet returned back to Cadance, it appeared that there were two more ponies that were at the party. One was a guardspony while the other appeared a bit on the shy side. Candence then asked her how she got her mark. "Oh, how I got my mark," Sweet said as she took a bite of a little sandwich triangle, "Well, as a filly, I loved candy. My parents are dentists, so they weren't as excited about me liking candy. They thought that candy does nothing but rot teeth and make ponies hyper. But still I would sneak some candy trying different ones. Eventually the owner of a candy shop taught me how to make candy, and that's how my mark appeared! My parents realized that a pony doesn't just get their mark on accident, so with their hugs I went to work at Mr. Cocoa's candy shop here in Canterlot. I really want to in the future own my own candy store. Actually, I think it would be neat to be the candymakeer for all royal gatherings. I know it may be a silly dream of mine, but I was always told to dream big!" Sweet paused as if she was done, but then she realized something. "Oooo! I almost forgot. I actually have some fudge that I take with me. Would you like some Princess Cadance? It so rich and chocolaty."
  5. Yes, something's wrong with you and you should feel bad. Nah, just kidding! Actually, I din't heard how other posters say things, but I imagine how their characters say things, especially mine. For example: I hear Fire Heart with this Scootaloo like voice.
  6. "Oh ok," Guiding Light said to Apple Bumpkin, "Apple Bloom is in my class and I know that alot of her family has an apple name. Light was so busy talking to Sweetie Belle and as a smaller part, Apple Bumpkin, that he almost didn't hear his name being called. He then saw Rarity standing there, waiting for her next customer. Light knew he was after the royal pony, and after seeing him scheduling an appointment with Sweetie Belle, he knew it was his turn. Light always was amazed at how pretty Rarity was. It was no wonder where Sweetie got her cuteness from. Light didn't know much about Rarity other that seeing her sometimes with Sweetie or at a school function. "Um... hello. I believe I'm next."
  7. Marv from Sin City - "It's the old days, the bad days" Marv - "I don't know about you, but I'm having a ball." Batman from The Dark Knight - "Where is Harvey Dent?"
  8. "Well, has she ever talked to you? Have you talked to her? I'm not saying you should go tell her you like her right away, but maybe just saying hi would get things started. I know when I want to get to know somepony better even as a friend I say hi." Light put a hoof on his chin, thinking about Pip's situation of trying to meet the pony he liked and Light trying to find his special somepony. Then he got an idea. "I think I have an idea. You are trying to meet Sweetie Belle, and I'm trying to find a special somepony. Why don't the two of us try to help each other?"
  9. Lore listened to Ice Storm explain how she liked Ponyville, even the times she was basically homeless. She made it so nice sounding, sleeping under the stars. He was always interested in the night sky, how the stars were beautifully arranged. "I guess I'll have to try sleeping under the stars one night then. I know how you feel about the stars in Canterlot. I guess for me since all the places are so big there, I usually can only see a part of the night sky. Now that you mentioned Princess Luna, I must admit that all my life in Canterlot, I never met any of the princesses. I've seen them in a parade or at an even, but never meeting them one on one. Maybe one day..." He realize that he was drifting off into his own mind, and quickly snapped back to reality. Lore nodded in understanding at what the Mayor said about trying to keep a peaceful atmosphere in Ponyville. That was good. Although it is impossible to change everypony's minds, if this place had more kind and friendly ponies that rude and nasty, he was going to like it here. Then another pony entered in, and another unicorn. Maybe Lore's impression that there were few unicorns in town was incorrect. He slid over to allow the new unicorn to join the group. "Hello High Roller. I'm Lore Weaver. I'm opening up a bookstore here in Ponyville. You said you have a game store? What kind of games do you sell?"
  10. (OOC: Bye Dinky!) Light waved goodbye to Dinky as her foalsitter met her. Now he thought back to what Pip said about how he liked Sweetie Belle. As much as he tried to hide it, it was clear he was head over hooves in love with her. "Wow. You must really like her then," with that Light's smile faded and his head drooped to the ground, "I wish I was lucky enough to know who my special somepony is. I don't know if anypony is interested in me."
  11. Yes Tales, Twilight, or the character she was portraying in the play, mentioned how she knew about the Windigoes through Starswirl the Bearded.
  12. Candance appeared very excited that Sweet Surprise appeared, although the earth pony felt that it wasn't her but the fact that she showed up, but it was that at least a pony was at her party. Sweet knew what it was like planning a party and having no pony show up. The princess made what sounded like a well-rehearsed speech about the Canterlot Royal Public Relations. It was interesting that the group could travel to determine if ponies were ok. Sweet however didn't know how this group would help her. Well, there was one thing. Sweet's dream, aside from owning a candy store herself, was to be the go to pony for all events at the castle when it came to candies and chocolates. It was a very lofty goal, but Sweet hoped she was given that chance. She didn't know if there was a way to get closer to that goal with Princess Cadence, however. Then the princess did something that Sweet didn't expect and leaned in as if to give her a secret. She asked for her name and if she was hungry or thirsty. "My name is Sweet Surprise, and it's nice to meet you too. Actually I am kind of hungry. I didn't really have lunch today. I'll be right back." With that Sweet took off like a chocolate colored tornado, grabbing a plate and randomally choosing different snacks. There were even some candies which Sweet wanted to try to see how other ponies made candies. She then rushed back to the princess to continue with the conversation.
  13. In light of the fact there were two Cast applications being reviewed, I'd say yours will get reviewed this week.
  14. Sweet Surprise was trotting down the street near the castle, enjoying the beautiful day. As she walked, she started humming a tune, something that she was unsure where she got from. Then as she continued further, she realized the she was actually hearing the music now, and it was getting louder. "This is a neat song somepony must be playing," Sweet said as she followed it like a bloodhound follows a scent, "it's really something I can dance to!" As she drew closer, she noticed that the music was coming from a ballroom. "Ooo! Somepony must be having a party. I wonder if if I can attend or if it's a private one?" Sweet walked to the open door and poked her head in. There was food, drink, and music, but no pony was dancing. In fact, there was hardly anypony there save for a few seated at a table. Then she saw the sign: Canterlot Royal Public Relations Open House. It sounded formal. No wonder why no ponies were dancing. Still, a party was a party, and Sweet loved parties and meeting new ponies. She trotted in, looking at the ponies seated at the table. her eyes were fixated on a beautiful pink pony princess. She must have been Princess Cadence, the one that Canterlot was having a wedding for. She definitely wanted to meet her, but how should she do that? it wasn't like Sweet was accustomed to meeting royalty on a regular basis. Sweet stopped and gave a little bow to Princess, looking as about as awkward as Sweet Surprise was feeling.
  15. How dare you show that blasphemy that is Spongebob Squarepants!
  16. Want to know some things about me or my characters? Looking for someone to give you answers with the logic of Twilight Sparkle and the hillarity of Pinkie Pie? Have a strong attachment to a certain punctuation mark? Tired of hearing me ask so many questions? Well then, let's hear from you!
  17. I'd be, although I'm not sure what Guiding Light could do as a talent for it.
  18. (OOC: Great. Where do I get the feeling one of us is going to have to play foalsitter eventually?) "um... sure I'd like to keep you company," Light said still shy, "so... you're Pip and you're Dinky right? Nice to meet you two." Pip then mentioned how he was intersted in airships and a certain filly. "Who's the filly? Maybe I can help you get to know her more."

  21. (OOC: Sorry for the delay. Sweet is back now!) Sweet listened to Apple Bloom explain what Granny Smith wanted for her party. There were a few details, but not too many. She was worried her first party was going to be extremely detailed. She was about to talk to Apple Bloom when Pinkie started saying other color named before somehow producing a horn and confetti. Sweet wished she could produce random object seemingly out of nowhere. "Oh I love all those colors. I try when I can to have different colors in my candies, although it's kind of hard. I don't think a pony would like a ceurealine chocolate or a tangerine toffee." "Ok then. No particular color, nothing hard or chewy, no special decorations or entertainment," Sweet said to Apple Bloom as a way to commit it to memory as well as to ensure the filly that she was listening, something tricky to do considering the conversations going on. "Is there anything else you'd like to make the party super special?"
  22. I saw The Avengers on Saturday with some friends. It was one of the best superhero shows! I admit I was worried how it would work balancing all the character while creating a great plot, but sure enough it worked. Favorite line paraphrased: Loki - "You can't defeat me. I'm a god and you're just a puny human." Hulk - (throws around Loki like a rag doll).
  23. Dear Shyshy, Since your name is Shyshy, does this mean you're double Shy all the way across the sky? Also if you're double shy, does that make you as shy or shyer than Fluttershy?
  24. The pinto pony mentioned how he was distracted, just not on the class. "I know how that is," Light said, "sometimes I get distracted myself. For me it's about my magic." Before Pip could respond he got up and walked out of the school. Yet he signaled to Light that he was still interested in continuing the conversation. Something it seemed peaked his curiousity outside. When Light exited the school, there was a grey unicorn who also seemed preoccupied. He also didn't know about her, except for the fact that she was younger and that a few ponies would tease her. "Oh hello. I'm Guiding Light, but you can call me Light. Nice to meet you Dinky."
  25. (OOC: Going for a restart with Light and Pip's friendship.) Guiding Light listened to the teacher's homework before putting away his books and other materials. He liked school, especially learning new things.Sometimes he wished he could stay there, not because he didn't like his parents, but because he loved to learn. Sadly, basic schools didn't teach him how to improve his magic, just like it didn't teach a pegasus how to fly well. As he was leaving, he spotted a pony sitting, looking like he too wasn't interested in leaving. Yet unlike Light, this pinto pony seemed to be deep in thought about something. He didn't really interact with this pony much, mainly because ... well... Guiding Light was sort of shy. Nevertheless, Light wanted to at least make an effort to get to know him. "Um... hello there. Are you ok? You seem to be thinking about something."
