  1. Twilight should have been prepared for that answer but wasn't. Well, it made sense! Fillies loved a lot more than anypony could imagine, from their family to pets to clothes to food, so it made sense that anything tea-related would play well into her desires. Twilight for her part would see to it that such desires were easily met. Her horn lit up and a moment later a small tray of little cakes and a fruit salad appeared before the two tea-drinking party-goers in the personal private princess party of two. "That should make the tea party complete, shouldn't it?" Twilight said with a smile while he drank her tea and snapped off a little cake in half, giving Ambrosia the slightly larger half. "Here you go. I am have a great time with you today, and I hope you are too," she said as the butterflies continued to flutter around. "As for my favorite snack for teatime, I like...a nice sandwich. Nothing too big, something with a light, airy taste to it," she said and with a flash of light it appeared in front of her. Now they had a full spread, a delicious tea luncheon just for the two of them!
  2. Sunny supposed that was fair enough. She could rattle off stories from ancient Equestria to the extent that more than one time she had been left the last pony standing awake at the Brighthouse while recounting them. She would defend herself, but any attempt would be undercut by how hungry she was. And overwhelmed by an entire culture being revealed to her via one long, uninterrupted verbal attack on her poor memory center. She laughed. "Well, I guess we have the same tradition there, just laying down on your back and just allowing sleep to overtake you," she thought about it for a little bit, "though I won't say no to custom ponycorn making. Is ponycorn your favorite snack? Err, or the most popular snack, for all unicorns?" she said as they finished their trip and ended at La Villa Izzy.
  3. Sunny was excited when Zipp mentioned a shopping trip. She wasn't Pipp with her love of shopping but she couldn't deny that essentially any public outing with her friends was a thrill in and of itself. That and she had been lazy enough recently, ordering a lot of DoorTrot and such instead of taking the time to go grocery shopping. Might as well kill a few birds with one stone- wait, was that phrase offensive to pegasi? She didn't think so, but she would err on the side of sensitivity and not say it out loud. Still, her eyes did sparkle a bit as she thought about everything they would get done together, even if it was partially under the auspice of solving what had to be the very worst crime ever committed against goggle-kind. "Oh, well that sounds like a solution to me. Let me get my saddlebag and we can get going!" She said as she trotted joyfully over to where it lay over a door handle. As she pulled it off and tossed it over her barrel, the door tilted open slightly and allowed the outside air to slowly send a cool chill about the room. It wasn't the warmest of days out there, though Sunny didn't mind a bit of chill. "Besides new batteries and probably new hoofcuffs so you can arrest the evildoer behind this most egregious of all thefts," she giggled, "anything else you need out there? Or am I going to be the only one taking advantage of somepony else's malfeasance?"
  4. Muziki nodded vigorously as the young Princess pony described how easy it was to fly and use the magic she had. Well, Muziki was a little confused. She thought that horns were heavy and that was why unicorns were always being called thick-headed! Or was that a pegasi? Or both? Okay, now Muziki was confusing herself. Still, she liked what she was hearing. "Oh, that is good! I have wondering how it feel. It must be so exciting! And then you use your horn to tell everypony what to do if they're being bad. Oh! Or, or do Princesses use beauty to bewitch subjects? Hmm. Which makes sense, because Princess. Do you cause the hurricane with wing flaps? I, I have a friend in the Ponyville who says his wings strong enough cause hurricane, but I don't believe him. He is a teller of tall tales! Not like his mama, the Apple mama doesn't tell lies. And she also was laughing once about Twilight Princess flying funny! Which makes sense, since I once heard a joke about it in the Manehattan when I first come to Equestria. But..." she looked up at her very handsome, very big Prince-father. "It not best polite company." "Muziki, uko wapi? Tunahitaji kuanza kujiandaa kwa wimbo!" Muziki's ears stood up straight in excitement as her head turned to the door. "Oh! That is mama!" The young zebra said in excitement. Oh, she had so many things to show her! Muziki had spent all of her money on all the cool trinkets that the storeponies had said were the top cool things to get, so mama was bound to be super impressed. She turned back to the Princess and the other ponies and even the Kee-ran! "It very good to meet all and be a free candy winner, but mama calls!" She turned her head out towards the door and hollered back. "Mama niko kwenye duka la peremende! Mimi ni mshindi, jitokeze baada ya dakika moja!"
  5. Any of the false bravado that she could muster up to store for moments like this evaporated instantly once she found herself tightly wound up with Twilight. Tightly might overstate the condition as Twilight was clearly as nervous as Rainbow, if not more so. And wound up was always somewhat of an overstatement, as she slid under the offered wing and into Twilight with only the barest hint of effort from the Alicorn. Once Rainbow was in there, however, it was like a puzzle piece slotted in perfectly. This was a place designed for Rainbow it felt like. Twilight never felt like it but she was bigger and stronger than Rainbow due to her Alicorn form and for the perennially athletic pegasus there was something intense and exciting about that aspect of what Twilight brought to the table. "oh, y-yeah. Super comfortable," Rainbow lied nervously, though it was paired with an anxious and delighted purr that escaped from her shamefully. She was really excited. And scared. Mostly excited but her facade cracked once even the smallest amount of fear was allowed to take root in her, and it had. Fear of what, she didn't know. She just knew that she liked this fear in some strange way. And it allowed her to forget the rock in her back and the rough, rough ground. Stuff like that she could suffer for the promise of some sweet rewards, and she had a feeling that Her Royal Highness was in the mood to hand our significant amounts of...booty. She turned to face Twilight as best she could. And that was when the Princess of Friendship kissed her. Rainbow's wings shot out, almost moving her out of Twilight's embrace as it happened due to shock. She shared in the kiss for a moment before she pulled back in desperate confusion, her heart pounding and cheek ablaze. Rainbow's eyes darted around Twilight's face, seemingly looking through it, her voice and breath caught. She didn't answer for a second before she dove in for a passionate kiss in reply, taking Twilight full mouth to mouth. That answer enough for you, Sparkle?
  6. Twilight took a sip of the tea to hide the smirk that could not be stopped from spreading as the overly cute filly pronounced friendship in an overly cute way. It could not be helped after all, she was excessively cute and it was in her very nature. The apple-cinnamon-maple combination was an excellent addition to somepony's teatime. It came at first with a nice burst of flavor that had a nice long tail, with the flavors working with the warmth of the tea to give the drinker a nice and comfortable feeling, like the sun over nice country fields. It did have a distinctly magical feel, which made sense, but the flavor profile was something special. Applejack was missing out on some business, a business that would need to be conducted before her daughter grew up and did it herself. "You did wonderful, Ambrosia," Twilight said as she lowered her cup. "Keep this up and you'll get a teamare's cutie mark," Twilight said softly as she pondered what was to be next. Clearly, they were going to continue her magical education, but it was up in the air what was the next step. The fact was, most magical education was extremely boring and repetitive because it was about making the simple magical processes second nature for her. But still, that was for later. "So, what is your favorite tea-time snack? Fruit salad? Cookies? Little cakes? Wholegrain wheat-infused grass?"
  7. Twilight smiled at Brandon's suggestion about Sugarcube Corner. "That's a great idea," she said. "I know Pinkie Pie is always looking for extra help, and they have some of the best sweets in town." As they continued walking, they suddenly heard a familiar voice calling out to them. "Hey there, y'all!" It was Applejack, trotting up to them with a friendly smile. Behind her was an empty cart and attached to that, another empty cart. She gave the human a bemused expression. "Hey Applejack!" Twilight said, returning her smile. "What brings you here?" "Just finished up some errands in town," Applejack replied. "Say, who's yer friend here?" "Oh, this is Brandon! He's a visitor to this world. Brandon, this is Applejack- well, I'm sure you knew that," she said as Applejack approached, who greeted Brandon warmly. "Nice to meet ya," she said with a nod. "So, what brings ya to Ponyville?"
  8. Rarity's smile faltered slightly at Brandon's request to work at the boutique. "I'm sorry, dear," she said kindly, "but we don't have any job openings available at the moment. That, and the work is highly specialized- though I would be more than willing to give you a try if I had a spot," Rarity said sympathetically. "I understand that it can be tough starting out in a new place, but I'm sure you'll find something soon." Twilight chimed in, eager to help. "Besides, at the moment we need to acclimatize you to this new environment. There is a lot to be done and we don't want to overwhelm you," she said with a reassuring smile. Rarity and Twilight exchanged a look, silently agreeing that they would do whatever they could to help Brandon get settled in Ponyville. They knew that he was new to Equestria and wanted to make sure he felt welcomed and supported.
  9. Twilight and Rarity exchanged a knowing smile at Brandon's compliment. "We're so glad you like it!" Rarity said, beaming. "And don't worry about how fast we put it together. Fashionistas such as I have a few tricks up our sleeves when it comes to styling." "Exactly," Twilight agreed. "Like I said, Rarity is the best at what she does. She is making you look dashing, but she just as easily could have made you look like a schoolfilly." "Thank you," Rarity said, looking proud at the compliment. "It's just a matter of knowing what works and what doesn't. And of course, it helps to have an eye for detail and a love of fashion. I'm always looking for new ways to help ponies- err, in this case a human- express themselves through their clothes, and I love helping others no matter what. It's all about finding your own unique style and rocking it with confidence," she said before something else came to mind. "Oh, and magic, of course."
  10. Twilight noted that Ambrosia was clearly feeling the effects of the magic use so far. Indeed, she really had done a lot, and done so quickly. It was something unicorns had to deal with as they grew older, the throbbing headache-like pain that came from extended magic use and grew rapidly in intensity as you pushed it. When you were older, and if devoted to the magic in you, then you would learn all sorts of pain management techniques. But that was for much later in her young life. The worst thing Twilight could do was push the filly too much too soon, leaving Ambrosia relating the magic within her to the suffering so common to pushing oneself too hard. Luckily they had a tea party to tend to! Twilight got their cups ready and pulled the teapot closer, not using magic. She poured a cup for Ambrosia and a cup for Twilight, keeping her chuckle held down. Most of the tea was fine, but some of it had a slightly thicker consistency and the whole thing smelled somewhat of syrup. Delicious, decidedly not nutritious, syrup. "We will relax for a while. Don't want to work too hard now that we have some wonderful, Ambrosia-made tea to drink. An Ambrosia original. Ambrosia made, Twilight approved. Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?" She raised her cup with a broad smile. "To Friendship!"
  11. Twilight and Rarity looked at each other and smiled, happy to hear that the human was willing to try something new but also wanted to stay true to his personal style. "A hoodie and jeans it is," Rarity said, clapping her hooves together. "But let's add a little bit of pizzazz to make it more unique." "Absolutely," Twilight agreed. "I'm thinking we could add a pop of color with a patterned scarf or some bold accessories." Rarity nodded in agreement. "And we could also play with texture," she said, holding up a soft, textured knit scarf. "This scarf would add a cozy and stylish touch to the outfit." As Rarity and Twilight set to work on the outfit, they incorporated the human's suggested colors and style preferences. They found a dark blue hoodie with a comfortable fit, paired with light blue jeans that fit him perfectly. For his footwear, they found a pair of blue sneakers with gold stars on the sides, just as he had requested. To add some extra flair, they layered on the textured knit scarf in a bold red color, which complemented the blue tones nicely. They also added a few gold accessories, like a statement watch and a pair of aviator sunglasses, to tie the look together.
  12. Twilight giggled at the human's nickname for her, but quickly composed herself as Rarity began to take measurements. As the fashionista worked, Twilight knew her friend was plumbing the depths in all directions to come up with. "Well," Twilight said, tapping a hoof against her chin thoughtfully. "We could go for something dapper, like a tailored suit with a crisp white shirt and a bow tie. Or perhaps something more casual, like a denim jacket and a pair of leather boots." Rarity nodded in agreement as she returned, several lines of clothing behind her, already envisioning the human in a range of different outfits. "Yes, and we could also go for something more playful and colorful," she said, a smile on her face. "Maybe a brightly colored sweater with some whimsical patterns, or a pair of shorts with fun prints." Twilight nodded, but then a mischievous thought crossed her mind. "Or we could go in the opposite direction," she said, a glint in her eye. "We could dress you up in a way that's, um, more fillyish, if you were of that inclination. Like a frilly blouse with ruffles and lace, or a pair of short shorts with a cute little bow." Rarity giggled at the idea, but then a look of concern crossed her face. "We'll make sure to choose something that you feel confident and comfortable in. We could dress you older or younger, truly whatever style you think would best fit you. I have all sorts of ponies come through my shop, darling. You would be amazed at the requests I see! We are a very open society. So the real question is, what style do you want, Brandon?"
  13. Rarity looked up at the human with surprise. "Oh my, I'm terribly sorry, darling. It's just that you're quite small in comparison to the other humans I've met before, and I was wondering if you were perhaps a child. My goodness, you truly are quite petite!" she exclaimed, before quickly composing herself. "But no matter, I assure you, we will find the perfect outfit for you, regardless of your size," Rarity said as she led the human over to a nearby stool and began to take his measurements. As she worked, Rarity chatted with him, asking about his interests and what brought him to Equestria. Twilight couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as she watched her friend work her magic, turning even the most nervous of clients into confident and stylish ponies (or humans, in this case). As she began to measure him, Twilight watched in amazement at how precise Rarity was. The fashionista seemed to know exactly what she was doing, and Twilight couldn't help but feel a little envious of her skills. After a few minutes of measuring and taking notes, Rarity stepped back to examine her work. "Hmm," she murmured thoughtfully. "I think I have a good idea of what will suit you," Rarity smiled, a mischievous glint in her eye. As Rarity disappeared into the back of the boutique to retrieve fabrics and materials, Twilight turned to Brandon with a grin. "You're in good hooves with Rarity," she said. "She's the best at what she does."
  14. Twilight Sparkle walked through the streets of Ponyville with a small, flirtatious human in tow. She had promised to take him to Rarity's Carousel Boutique, knowing that the fashionista would be the perfect pony to fit and style him for his time in Equestria. As they approached the boutique, Twilight couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She knew that Rarity would be thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a human, and she was eager to see what kind of outfit the fashionista would come up with. Upon entering the boutique, Twilight and the human were greeted by the sound of Rarity's voice. "Welcome, darlings!" she exclaimed, looking up from the dress she was working on. "What can I do for you today?" Twilight stepped forward, gesturing to the human at her side. "This is our new friend," she said with a smile. "He's in need of some new clothes for his time in Equestria, and I thought you might be able to help." Rarity's eyes lit up at the prospect of a new client. "Of course, darling!" she said, her voice practically dripping with enthusiasm. "I would be delighted to assist you in any way that I can." With that, Rarity began to lead the human towards the fitting area, her eyes scanning him up and down as she went. "Now, let's see what we're working with here," she murmured to herself, her mind already racing with ideas for his new look. Twilight watched as Rarity worked her magic, amazed at how quickly the fashionista was able to assess Brandon. She knew that he was in good hooves with Rarity, and couldn't wait to see the end result. Rarity looked him over. "Well, you are a different example of a human, to be sure. Twilight, remind me, but aren't humans generally larger than us?" Rarity asked as she rechecked his sizes, going down and down. Twilight nodded. "In general, yes. Most humans term us as 'three heads high'. Brandon here is from a universe where it appears humans are rather diminutive in comparison." Rarity smiled gently. "Brandon, is it? Tell me sweetie, how old are you?"
  15. That would hit the spot. Flying was hard work and Applejack could feel her body burning through the stored energy as it went about doing what came so unnaturally to her. A part of her was worried about not enough hoof work, but she equally convinced herself it was a null issue for now. The wings were temporary and she could always work on some extra leg work later, after all. For now, she'd be content being the way that made her wife the most excited. Someday she'd get Rainbow under a plow to return the favor. "Shakes sound good," Applejack smiled as she tried to think what flavor would best suit her newly winged form. Something light and fluffy, for sure. still, she was going to be a good little pegasi for Rainbow and as such started to hover a few hooves above the ground. It was an uneven hover and she sometimes started to float too high, sometimes landed at a small trot and needed to take off again. It wasn't the best, but she wasn't gonna let her mare down. "So, honest, how'm Ah doing?"
  16. Applejack had a reputation for being somewhat more closed with her emotions than her friends, at least the emotions that spoke to vulnerability. many told her she was strong for doing so, but the truth was she was a coward. She didn't want to cry in front of others because she was convinced they'd think her weak. She didn't want to reveal her deepest, most secret innermost thoughts because she was worried ponies would think of her differently. Happiness, sternness, optimism and bullheaded work ethic- these had defined her in Ponyville and abroad since she was young. But there was much more to her than that, and as with every stallion and mare her heart was open to the attentions and affections of others. No shallower than any other, it had taken Rainbow time to dig deep through Applejack's endless granite-like resolve to find those deeper emotions. What Rainbow had unlocked was a mare of deep affection and an obsession with togetherness. Far from the friendly workaholic happy to be left alone to her tasks like others thought, Applejack craved others. And as Rainbow nestled herself into Applejack's heart and earned her love, it became impossible for Applejack to hide anything. She was putty in her wife's wings and the two shared a kiss, an embrace, their love and much more. She responded to Rainbow's declaration with a purr, a kiss, a hug, and a desire to have yet another foal. Luckily for this house's current sanctity, the mother-in-law stepped in! "Yes ma'am we will," Applejack responded the soft purr that had been building in her voice being subdued for now. It seemed pretty well expected that they'd stay. Indeed, Applejack had thought they'd be here for a few days! "Can't imagine why not. Well, next time we come up we need ta show off tha rascals, but Ah reckon we have time. Don't we, RD?"
  17. Fluttershy often had some difficulty with her rabbit, and it seemed like today was no different. Truly, Rarity did not understand how such an animal could so easily dominate Fluttershy's moment-to-moment activity. She dealt with so many more impressive creatures! Yet this tiny rabbit and its surly personality may as well have done more to subdue Fluttershy than any villain could ever hope to. Of course, as Rarity watched Applejack act in such a manner it was hard to imagine that she had much of a leg to stand on in calling out such behavior. Did Angel Bunny put a collar on Fluttershy at any point? The thought made the unicorn giggle, even as she bent down to her mare. "Hmm, if you promise to be gentle, I am sure Angel Bunny would love to play," Rarity said as she unhooked the leash. "Be a good Apple for me," she said with a small kiss on the snout. She would let Applejack get some of her energy out while also getting Angel Bunny to feel a bit of fear. A proper response to Angel's attitude towards Fluttershy. Still, Rarity knew that Fluttershy may have other feelings on the matter. "Worry not, they're just gonna have some fun. Fluttershy, may I speak with you in private?" Rarity asked calmly as she lost her focus on Applejack. She would allow Applejack to do as she pleased- she was quite the wonderful owner marefriend!
  18. Twilight Sparkle smiled warmly at the human guest, noticing the visible shade of red on his face. "Well, it's simple, Brandon. I believe in treating everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of their background or differences. It's a core value in Equestria, and one that I hold dear. As for your compliments, while they are very flattering, I think it's important to keep the focus on the wonders of Equestria and the magic it holds. I'm happy to show you around and share my knowledge, but I hope you can appreciate the beauty of our world without feeling the need to compliment me constantly." She paused for a moment, sensing the nervous energy emanating from the human guest. "As for why I'm willing to stick with you, it's because I believe that everyone deserves a chance to learn and grow. I see the potential in you, Brandon, and I think that with some guidance and encouragement, you can appreciate the beauty of Equestria. It's important to treat others with respect and kindness, and I hope that by spending time with me, you can see the value in those qualities. And..." she laughed, "as a Princess, Brandon, I am very much used to creatures flirting with me. I even had several griffons fight each other for the right to propose to me. That was a very embarassing diplomatic summit." Twilight Sparkle's words were reassuring and kind, and she hoped they would help the human guest feel more at ease. She knew that social interactions could be challenging, especially in unfamiliar environments, but she was determined to make the tour a positive and enriching experience for everyone involved. As the tour continued, Twilight Sparkle shared her wisdom and passion for learning, and the human guest began to appreciate the magic of Equestria in a new and meaningful way. Through kindness and respect, Twilight Sparkle showed that true beauty lies not in compliments, but in the wonders of the world around us. As they trotted, soon the Carousel Boutique came into view. "I assume you know of Rarity, yes?"
  19. Twilight Sparkle chuckled softly at the human guest's flirty remarks, but she quickly redirected the conversation with a warm smile. "Hehe, thank you for the compliment," she said kindly, brushing a strand of her mane out of her eyes. "But there's no need to compare yourself to anyone else, Brandon. Everyone has their own unique strengths and talents. You're not stupid at all. In fact, I believe that everycreature has something special to offer." Twilight Sparkle then shifted the focus back to the tour, eager to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for the magic of Equestria. "Speaking of being smart, let me take you to Rarity. We could use a little work on you," she said, leading the way with a friendly and inclusive demeanor, focusing on the wonders of her world rather than engaging in flirtation. She maintained a professional and friendly tone, respecting boundaries and keeping the interaction on a respectful level. Twilight Sparkle was known for her intelligence and wisdom, but she also understood the importance of treating others with kindness and respect, regardless of their differences.
  20. Captain Rarity sighed. "Miss Storm, we have no weaponry. And about half the crew just left. I believe you may have seen the entire vessel during our voyage here," he smiled anxiously. "Usually the modus operandi is to flee or, if we cannot, do not resist. It will not be the first time we have been attacked by her. As for what she has...I believe she has a few magical deck guns of varying sizes and two invisidroppers for some weapon called a 'torpedo' or weather mines. And whatever she does on top of that, of course. We will likely start going down if we get hit with anything, to boot. As for her ship, it is well-armored but not as well-armored as her record may suggest. Moreover, her defense is that we can't hit her. She uses her ice magic to deflect any blow that may strike. Only the Mageship Glimmer and Mageship Shadow have been able to successfully engage her, and it was an overmatch every time. She escaped due to guile," he said, pondering something. "As for the chain of command, I'll put you in charge of the battle stations. I will focus more on keeping the crew on task. I shall keep a cool head on my shoulders, darling! Until we start falling into the void, then I reserve the right to scream." It was then that the ship that Ice Storm had locked onto appeared, its ram plowing into the magical globe with a mighty crash, sending rivulets of cracks through it. Standing at the foredeck, staring down at Captain Rarity and his ship, was a smaller, emaciated, and crazed-looking Ice Storm. Her eyes had deep bags under them and a wild, almost lidless expression while her horn dazzled in shades of blue. She locked onto Ice Storm and shook her heads. "Oh, do my eyes deceive me or is this another one of my interloping dopplegangers sticking her snout into affairs that do not concern her?" She said as she walked towards her ram, standing on it proud while she calmed the storm. "Do you have any idea of the crimes they have committed against us? That damnable Sun Princess and her lackey, whose instability has torn us all asunder, are villains through and through. And yet here I am, again, unwittingly throwing myself away- again!- foolishly. Tell me, is it our need to protect others or our love of the fair moon that drove you here?" She shook her head and her eyes lit up in anger. "How many times will I be forced to see this same damned scene!?" She stomped the ram, which instantly becoming blue-ice. "No matter. Stand aside and for once don't make me kill the both of you again!"
  21. Twilight nodded. "Indeed we do! The theater is different from the movie theaters in your world, of course. 'Movies' are very uncommon," Twilight Sparkle said with a friendly smile. "You see, in Equestria, the movies are not made using traditional film reels like in your world. Some of the technology involved doesn't exist. Instead, we use magical reels that are enchanted with spells to bring the movies to life. These magical reels are made of a special material that is unique to Equestria and is imbued with the magic of our land. It also means they have a very vibrant quality to them!" Twilight Sparkle continued, "however, this comes at a cost. They degrade over show-time due to the natural magic flow of our land. The longer the movie, the more the magical energy in the reels fades, causing the quality of the movie to deteriorate and making it harder for repeat showings. This is why most movie theaters in Equestria show shorter shows, which are equivalent to television programs in your world. These shorter shows are easier to maintain and ensure that it can be shown more often. Thusly, our movie theaters tend to have more similarities to television stations rather than what you are used to. It does mean that shorter serials tend to be the most popular film style." "As for arcades, the answer can be complicated. There is certainly gaming, and magically enchanted gaming does exist. However, most games tend to be kinetic rather than electric based, and those that would be electric based are magic based. We don't have electricity in Equestria- magic serves us in its place. The major difference is that most 'gaming' arcades tend to be very narrowly focused if magic is involved, so you don't see a lot of the same games in many places. The preferred term is 'Artisan Gaming'."
  22. The singing she had done with the piano pony was a very delightful experience, she very did believe, Muziki liked that the Equestrian folk did their best to treat other cultures with respect. He couldn't really sing the song all that well because it was a hard language but he was trying, and in that very effort lay the good nature that Muziki had come to know the Equestrians by. When the singing was over she gave the stallion a hearty pat on the back and a swift smile. "Oh, okay! Someday, someday I teach you the next verse, and it will be so very fun, yes?" She said as she hopped away from the piano, leaving him to attend to what was without a doubt a very pretty little foal filly. As she did so, she made sure to take what Saltwater said to heart. "Oh, I see! Well, if it helps, the room is small so not too many ponies can come in at a time, so if you were worried about too many wenzi wa chumbas, don't worry, there can't be!" She said, assuming his concern would be that it would be too crowded in there for the delivery. It was Unyasi custom to share a space with as many friends and families as possible in a large communal gathering, but the room was barely big enough for the traditional bedding let alone the rest! He would not have to worry a bit. Nothing else could possibly be wrong! As she was preparing herself to leave, she finally caught wind of all the commotion in the shop. She tilted her head. They looked familiar. Were they familiar? Equestria had a lot of famous pony folk and she wasn't so sure she could keep their names all straight in her head. It took a few more seconds for her to realize this was the Princely stallion of the Crystals and the smallest of the Alicorns, the Princess Heart. Wow, were they summoned because she was a winner? Did Princesses always find the winners? Okay, no, that was silly. She was very excited to see them! Even the fancy ponies liked the candies! "Hi, hello! Please to meeting you! I'm Muziki!" Muziki said as she trotted closer to the Princess. She had never seen an Alicorn up close before. Sometimes she saw the Sparkle in Ponyville, but this was a different creature entirely! Both literally and in the figuratively, at that. "Wow, you're very pretty! Is flying hard with horn?"
  23. It was going very well. The spell was simple enough but sometimes hard for a young unicorn to fully visualize, hence the presence of water on the horn. Once they got it down pat it would be an easy spell to repeat in the future without the same technique. Of course, there were times the spell wasn't appropriate. Many foods prepared with magically altered water could have unusual tastes or textures if not handled with care. It would likely be no problem for Ambrosia as long as Applejack did well to remind her of the filly's boundaries, but either way what an exciting utility spell for a little one to learn! This was the true fun, teaching ponies practical magic for common everyday use, something that they could use in their day to day lives to help...improve... What was that smell? Twilight furrowed her brows in slight confusion as she lifted the teapot up and opened it. There was water for sure in there, and even boiling water would do little to harm her Alicorn body. But it wasn't harm, but rather sheer silliness that she encountered. Hidden inside of the slowly boiling water, starting to thicken inside was small traces of syrup. The sort of syrup you would find on a pancake. Twilight held a hoof to her mouth to contain a giggle as the filly continued to cast her spell. Twilight silently closed the teapot and set it down soundlessly before speeding the process up, lest too much of the tea-water became sugary thick syrup! "Well Ambrosia, looks like you did it! One pot of water boiled and ready for tea-making," she said as it whistled a painful whistle, silenced quickly by Twilight. "How do you feel?"
  24. Twilight Sparkle was excited to give Brandon a tour of Ponyville. She knew the value of a good distraction before a big day of scientific experimentation and hoped to ease his nerves by showing him around her beloved, and adopted, hometown. "Welcome to Ponyville, Brandon!" Twilight said warmly as they walked out of the door. "I can guarantee you that you are going to really enjoy it here. It really is one of the best places in all of Equestria, humble and wonderful and full of amazing ponies." She led him down the streets, pointing out the various shops and landmarks as they go. "Over there is Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkie Pie makes the best cupcakes in all of Equestria," she said, gesturing to a brightly-colored bakery. A line led out, and inside the Cakes and Pinkie could be seen hard at work. "And this is the Ponyville Schoolhouse, where Cheerilee teaches the local foals everything they need to know," she continued, motioning to a modest building with a bell tower. Cheerilee could be seen lugging a small cart of books inside, yawning as she prepared for the day. As they walked, Twilight took care to answer any questions Brandon might have about the town and its inhabitants. She explained how the ponies in Ponyville are friendly and welcoming to all, no matter their species or background. And she would share some of her favorite memories, all in an effort to help him become comfortable.
  25. Twilight Sparkle noticed Brandon's nervousness and immediately tried to put him at ease. "Of course, Brandon, I'd love to get to know you better and teach you about friendship. It's one of my favorite subjects," she replied warmly. "Who says the two can't happen at the same time? We'll be spending a lot of time together. First, we must do some experiments. Then I need to find out just how you can fit in around Ponyville for however long you are. And during all that time, it would be my pleasure to get you well-educated in the arts and ways of friendship and the many splendours that come with it," Twilight said as she finished her breakfast. Twilight Sparkle extended a hoof to Brandon as she trotted over. "Should we start by taking a tour of Ponyville? I can show you some of my favorite spots and introduce you to some of my friends. The experiments are planned for later, anyhow."
