  1. Dunder dismounted the taxi and quickly took the bag and used a wing to carry it as he followed along after Fire and Muggo'. He stayed silent, Muggo' singing some old shanty like he always did, and Dunder enjoyed the stallion's singing. The stallion always seemed to have another thing to sing... and he was pretty good at it. When they approached Blueblood, Dunder hanged back and began to look off, letting his mind wonder until he heard his name and official title. He looked at Blueblood, listening to everything he said, knowing it would affect him. He was excised to hear that he would get paid for hopefully just doing what he was going to but being a formal member of the R.E.A. Hopefully he wouldn't have to take orders from Blueblood.... that could not end well. Probably one of the reasons why he was never accepted on his own, opposing orders if he didn't think the pony should be in charge. As they followed along, Dunder didn't keep his head low, in fact naturally standing about as tall as Blueblood as he walked along casually.
  2. Dunder was surprised when he felt the mare pushing him. She was a lot stronger than she looked, and he didn't expect to be one to help them with the criminal chasing. After all, he did cause trouble and Martel would probably bite his head off by the end of the mission. Dunder smiled sheepishly up at Martel, "So... heh.... I guess we'll be working together, huh, buddy?" He asked nervously and nudged Martel with a hoof. He looked back to see where Argenta was, he felt safer with her around. He sighed eventually and lowered his head, "And I wanted to say that all those things I said during the fight I didn't mean at all... It was only coercion to get you mad." He said and looked up at the earth pony. He truly looked sorry.
  3. Dunder didn't look at Ice as she spoke. He couldn't watch as she was breaking down in front of him, and he knew it was his fault. He shouldn't have liked Fire before, and he shouldn't have invited her here today. He nuzzled Ice again and licked her ear "You did nothing wrong. And you're definitely not like your parents." He whispered. He knew that mentioning of her parents was not a good sign at all. Especially if she compared herself to them. He almost forgot about her relationship to her parents, but he knew that it was anything but healthy. Dunder looked up as Fire started speaking. He looked suddenly nervous when she mentioned how he gets affectionate when happy or excited. He knew what she was referring to, and would rather not speak of it in front of Ice. But as she continued, he listened to her use her mortar mouth, like he had become used to. He remembered this story, but hearing it again as she was a pretty good story-teller was always welcome. When she mentioned how Dunder and Ice worked well together, he looked down at the floor. He could only feel remorse for it all. He leaned over to Ice and gave her another peck on the cheek before getting up silently and trotting over and flying over the counter. "Well. You can help us, I'm going to probably stay here all day so I can help too." He said, not looking up at Fire or Ice, just cleaning up the smoothie he dropped when he ran out of the store.
  4. Dunder looked surprised that Dusty just denied an order and corrected him. He grinned, "Alright, lead the way." He said to Dusty. It was probably better that he denied the order anyway, Dunder hardly knew which was was up in that Celestia forsaken cave. He never rally appreciated how lucky he was Dusty was there, without him they'd be lost for sure. He was glad to see the other ponies moving along fine. Except Winter, he was being pretty quiet. Dunder gently bumped him with a hoof. "C'mon. Go ahead with Muggo' and Dusty. Midnight! Get close to me." He ordered before they all took off. The griffons and Diamond dogs came to the same fork in the cave where the ponies had just been. The female griffon could be heard yelling at the diamond dogs for not being faster.
  5. As Fire complimented Dunder in the suit of armor, Dunder couldn't help but blush a little and smile nervously, he wasn't used to being complimented in clothes. Usually ponies thought his outfit was goofy. As Muggo walked in and complimented his flank, Dunder grinned, "Well, at least I know my flank was the first thing that caught your eye." He said and winked at the earth stallion. The sight of Fire tearing up a bit caught his eye, "and you, my lovely Fire Walker, look very lovely in your own armor." He said as he approached her and gave her a small kiss on the cheek. After packing up and etc. Dunder was sitting next to Fire, his swords packed away and laying across his lap as they rode in the taxi in silence, but when Fire broke the silence and tugged him, he glanced back over to see the airship in all of its ornate magnificence. Dunder smiled and watched it in awe, "Wow! We're going to be riding in that??? Looks like it took the whole treasury twice over to make that darned thing..." Dunder said with a smile. the air boat looked like it was going to be a floating palace, and to be honest he expected no less from the Prince.
  6. Dunder looked away as she spoke. He couldn't look into her big red eyes and not feel terrible. He had broken his friends heart, something he hoped he never had done because he felt the pain himself before.. He hugged her tight, not sure what to do. But if memory served him correct, then she should get over it. He wanted her to, there were better stallions that him. But as she praised Ice, he felt even worse. Did she have to make it seem like she was obsolete to Ice? He wanted her to be happy now, but he could only make one happy. When she stood up, he closed his now red and teary eyes and nuzzled her, but didn't say anything. He trotted after her, only sneaking a few glances to see how she was holding up. He didn't want to talk, he felt like something he was going to say was going to make everything worse. When they made it back, he opened the door and slugged in over to Ice and gave her a small nuzzle. It was obvious by the way his eyes were read and streaks of wet, matted fur under his eyes that he was crying.
  7. Dunder could feel that the ship was giving way. Only a matter of time until the whole thing was going to come crashing down, he just couldn't tell when. He made a quick think back, making sure he wasn't forgetting anything. He was about to search for an escape when he remembered that he had his saddlebags and his rapier to recover. He couldn't tell how useful the stuff in there would be, but he still crawled backed up to retrieve all of it. By now, he was sure he could be one of the last ponies inside of the wreckage. He quickly strapped everything tight to himself, he couldn't risk getting anything dropped or lost, not now when they would all have to use everything they could to their fullest. He began to crawl a bit more up, looking to see if he could find a closer route. that's when he noticed the trail of the red liquid. He grimanced when he saw it, not used to seeing so much. He followed the trail, speeding up when he felt the ship shift weight again, knocking him to the side and making him regain balance. He noticed a blonde unicorn stallion who seemed to be running everything in the healing business. He felt so tired, but it'd be worse if he felt useless or needy. Worse if he was wounded enough like the other passengers and helpless. He was still feeling somewhat descent, and his haziness was wearing off more. He trotted up to the unicorn stallion and spoke rather softly, "What can I do...?" He asked before clearing his throat and speaking up, "To help." He said. He hadn't even noticed the deep cut on his forehead, just above his brow.
  8. Dunder listened carefully to all of Swift Squall's reasoning. Even when he addressed Dunder, didn't didn't answer as he knew that the long winded stallion would still have more to say. Throughout all of it, he couldn't help but feel that the unicorn had no solid standing on the subject. The pony wasn't a unicorn, the all the pegasi weren't concerned at all. Willow backed Dunder up, showing she had some faith, Candy was barely getting concerned when Swift brought it up, and Wild was quiet, but he wasn't sure if that meant he he was too shy to speak up on either Swift or Dunder's point of view. Near the end when Swift addressed Dunder again and ruffled his mane, Dunder ginned and ran a hoof over it to fix it. "Well, Last time I thought you said were about 6 years, but whatever..." He said, "And I'll go with you." He said as he took a spot next to Swift and began walking, "We'll be right back." He said while looking back at Candy.
  9. Dunder listened to the unicorn stallion, but still wondered why Oak Branch was freaking out when Swift removed his sunglasses. He wasn't going to ask why, at least not yet. Dunder was getting ready to what seemed like a long story. And it was, learning a bunch about Swift's family that he never cared before to know anything about before. Now that he considered Swift his friend, Dunder was more than happy to learn some history on the stallion's family. Most of it was interesting. Mainly about his cutie mark and becoming a mercenary to serve in the Unyazi. when Fire interjected, Dundr grinned and nodded, "Yep! We were some of the best explorers to ever set hoof in the Unyasi... It was amazing." He said with a chuckle and glanced over to Fire with a smile. But When he trotted out, Dunder only nodded in reply. When Oak started talking, he listened. This pony talked as if he expected the two ponies to betray Swift's trust, which was one of the most ridiculous ideas he's ever heard. When Fire spoke, Dunder looked over at her. "Yeah, Fillydelphia has like...no crime..." He said, "And a job to do? Sounds like a plan. As long as we get paid."
  10. Dunder listened to her, staring her back straight in the eyes as she talked. He knew he was going to get the sword permit, he didn't want to get in trouble with the law again. That Germane pony could perhaps be fine with getting his flank dragged to a police station, but Dunder was not okay with that. When she got up, he got up and stopped her, "Hey, what's the hurry?" He asked as he stepped in front of her and put his hooves in front of her, "Can I at least have some sort of 'thank-you' for helping you?" He asked, "I mean, I cracked a few ribs and got arrested for helping you..." He said with a small chuckle.
  11. Dunder watched as he finished up his own shake, paying less attention to the shake and paying more attention to Ice trotting over, looking rather scared. He began to worry. He knew how Ice felt around new ponies, but he could tell something was up. She never acted like this. He became especially worried when she broke out and blurted about Dunder. He couldn't help but blush, no pony ever talked like that about him before... he covered his pinkening muzzle with a hoof when Fire stood up. She seemed rather relaxed and calm, something he was a red flag. The second thing she did that was an obvious red flag was that she began to observe Ice and give her compliments, saying she was basically superior to Fire... He knew where this was headed. When she said she needed to go get her helmet, Dunder took a step forward, wanting to say something to get her to calm down, but not being able to find the right words. As she galloped away, the realization hit him. "Wait! Fire!" He said, but the doors were already slammed shut. He flew over the counter, dropping the plastic cup with the half-made smoothie inside. He landed next to Ice and kissed her cheek, he looked worried. "Please..." He said, his face etched withe concern, "I'll... be back." He said as he galloped after Fire. It took some searching, but when he found her, he galloped over to find her sobbing and crying. He took a step closer, trying to think of something to say to her without getting more sad or angry. When she spoke, he listened surprised. Her response was mostly not expected, he never seen her heartbroken. When she asked him if she was just another mare that he kissed, his face went from surprise to shame. He looked down at the floor, not speaking still as the foal and mother walked by. When she went back to crying, then apologizing for acting the way she was. He sniffed back some tears. He couldn't help but feel guilty for all of this. As she buried her head in the ground, he sniffed again. She was one of his best friends. One of the ponies he would gladly die for in a heartbeat. One of the ponies he sweat and bled and marched alongside. And now he was the pony to go ahead and hurt her. He trotted over slowly and lifted her up, before she could do anything, he wrapped his forehooves around her and hugged her tight, having to hold back the tears. "Don't worry... please don't cry, Fire... " He said softly, sounding on the verge of tears. "It's my fault, I should have just never gone out with anypony..." He said and kissed her cheek, "Fire, don't cry. If you cry... I'll *sniff* cry." He said , pulling away from the hug and looking into her eyes. His now letting loose of a few wet streaks doing down his cheek.
  12. Dunder was sitting back in the room. He was just laying on the bed, staring up at the solid white ceiling probably worth more than all of Dunder's swords combined. He was thinking about the journey ahead and everything that was going to happen. He was swelling with excitement, but all that excitement would be saved for the airship ride over to the Unyazi when the other three ponies were going to be locked up with him. He was laying on his and Muggo's bed, flat out. His long tail and mane unkept and messy while he laid on the bed. His forehooves crossed on his tummy and his eyes open and staring at the ceiling. He felt rather comfortable and relaxed, but when Fire barged in, he sat up and stared at her, "Ohey!" He said, completely not expecting her to drag in some armor and throw it on the bed for him. She called him, "Airpony Basic" which pretty much meant private. He supposed that wasn't too bad. Anyway, he wasn't going to be made an officer without some sort of ridiculously good reason. He listened as he slid the armored silver saddle on. "I'm packed anyways, so..." He was glad it was Silver, to be honest, he didn't like the gold one at all. With it on, he stretched a bit, striking a post for Fire, "How do I look?" He asked with a small smile.
  13. Dunder pulled over a chair from another table to sit on. When Fire responded t the request for a smoothie, Dunder got back up instantly and trotted over behind the counter. "I'm just going to make myself a smoothie too." He said as he began the process. He didn't want to be lazy and just make Ice make the smoothie. Especially since Fire was over, and she would have known he was better than that anyway. "And when you have foals, you can bring them here anytime. As long as you invite us to the wedding." He said with a chuckle. Which reminded him, "By the way... Dunder-bunny... I've never heard of that before." He said while glancing over at Ice Storm, "Maybe Ice can steal that nickname." He said with a smile and gave her a small kiss on the lips while she worked, holding it for about a second before pulling away. "We've known each other for a while. I actually met Ice before I met you, Fire. And We only started to date recently..."
  14. Dunder watched as he was unchained and practically let free with only a slap on the hoof and some chest pains. He only had to buy a license to carry around a sword in Stalliongrad. As long as he had enough money, and he didn't have to be a member of a mercenary group, he'd be okay. When he was unchained, he looked up at Argenta and rubbed where the chains had been before, reminding himself that he was no longer arrested. His heart filled with relief, but he didn't want to show it. Instead, focusing on her comment. He stood up and smiled, "My hero entrance? To be honest I wouldn't have called myself a 'hero'..." He said honestly. "But, maybe if I joined you on your headhunt...?" He asked, rather hopefully.
  15. Dunder watched her, a little skeptical about this whole 'stare' thing. Though, he had to admit that she did look rather...very pretty. Her coat and mane were a perfect bled that brought out the color of her big round eyes. Her eyes, especially, looked beautiful in the moonlight. He only stood in front of her, holding the same expression of skepticism and determination. When she offered a kiss to stop with the stare, he closed his eyes and chuckled. "A kiss? That is it?" He asked before looking back into her eyes for a second. HE lifted up her head with his hoof, leaned in a little, and gave her a soft kiss right on the lips.
  16. Dunder fell down onto the seat in front of his' back seat when the weight of the crashed wreck shifted. He was on the edge of passing out, between a hazy mind and suddenly feeling incredibly tired and not able to remember what it is he was so worried about. The feeling like his head was slowly building up pressure and about to pop was eliminated when he heard the cry from what sounded like a young pony. The pony's voice was distressed, and described the position of an airship crash. Suddenly, everything all piled together. When the realization that he had just been in an airship crash hit him, his heart fell to his stomach. The rush of emotions and thoughts coming back to his already hurt head was not letting him calculate what to do very easily, even watch his step as he almost trotted off the edge of the seat down the corridor and straight onto the wind shield in the cockpit. He stopped himself before shifting his entire weight and stepping into the drop. As he stepped back, he could tell there were still other ponies in the wreck. He wasn't sure how long he was hazed, but he was glad to see he wasn't either left behind, or stuck in there for too long. He also didn't know what to do, there were so many ponies that needed help, but he supposed that the stallions in the cockpit could possibly need extraction if they weren't pegasi especially. He began to climb down the seats to the cockpit door. He hanged by a hoof from the cockpit door as he peered inside to see two ponies, both unicorns and both injured. He didn't want to land on the windshield as it was apparently already broken, "Huy! Unicorns! Come over here! We need to get out now and no heroes, everypony is getting out safely."
  17. Dunder hugged Fire as she entered. She was rambling off about whatever as she usually did. He listened, still. She usually had something to say about nearly everything, and he knew that she could talk for a long while if not interjected. As she talked, he looked in her eye with a small smile, just listening for a while so she could feel welcome and because what she had to say was pretty interesting. He heard of the dragon, and it was true some of the buildings in Ponyville were kind of ridiculous. But some of the buildings in Canterlot were ridiculous too. When she trotted inside and introduced herself, Dunder took a spot standing on the side of both of them. Fire seemed polite as always, complementing Ice and introducing herself to the joy of Dunder. Now he wouldn't have to risk being awkward introducing the two mares to each other. He smiled and took a seat on his rump, a little tired still from his flight to Ponyville from Cloudsdale so early in the morning. He thought about telling fire that Ice and himself were together, but decided against it. It could wait, and if she tried anything, he would force it away to avoid anything happening with Ice.
  18. Dunder could feel the airship getting closer to the ground. They had been falling for what felt like forever, but he knew it was going to end eventually, with a less than happy ending. He closed his eyes hard, feeling light headed from the perilous fall. The yells and cries of the other passengers were drowned out and turned into white noise by Dunder's ears. Everything was happening too quickly and the only thing on Dunder's mind was Ice Storm and a vicious yet timid will to survive that was drowned in the confusion of crashing. When the airship hit the ground, Dunder fell out of his gripped chair, landing on the back of the seats in front of him and slamming his head against the chair's backing. It all happened too fast for his brain to feel the pain, but it felt the effects of getting hit so hard. The pegasus quickly rolled off, still half passed out as he laded on the seat, falling on the floor between his original seat and the ones in front of him.
  19. I might join this. And I think only OC's ^^
  20. Dunder smiled and trotted inside the store when Ice showed herself. It had only been about two days since he last had seen her, but he missed her so much already. He trotted quickly over to her and pulled her close for a big hug. His heart swelling with joy at the sight and feel of her. He pulled away from the hug and looked her in the eyes, "I'm here because I invited a friend over... I'm using up vacation hours to be here today." He said, "Her name is Fire Walker... I was going to tell you, but it slipped my mind last time we saw eachother.." He admitted a little awkwardly. "And the Fire Walker that is in the R.E.A. and did go on all those adventures I keep telling you about." He said with a chuckle. He moved his head closer and closed his eyes, about to deliver a kiss hen he heard a knock on the door voice outside, making him pull back and look towards the entrance. "I think that's Fire..." He flew over the counter and trotted over to the door, quickly openeing the door from the inside. When he saw the familiar red mare, he smiled and held out his forehooves for a hug, "Fire! It's good to see you!"
  21. Dunder Bust wasn't really the type of pony to be considering joining any of the Iron Pony competitions. The competitions had a lack of risks of getting smacked in the head with a wooden sword for his taste. Anyway, there were a lot slimmer and faster ponies than he, so might as well not go through the trouble and anxiety of trying to win one of the competitions. Maybe if one was to come about sparking some interest, he would join. As of now, the free area was more to his liking. Anyway, he heard there were food and drinks there and the hope of maybe seeing Muggo' there aside from the food and drinks was pretty darn good. He trotted into the open ring and instantly started to look around. When he spotted Muggo' he also spotted Fire sitting inside of a "Pracing Pony" tent, his heart instantly bursting with joy at the sight of two of his friends. He galloped over, slowing down at the entrance, "Hey! Muggo' and Fire!"He said happily and trotted over. "And get me a soda, boy, and I'm going to tell you now that I'm not going to pay you." He said with a grin to Muggo'
  22. I would be grateful if you could draw my OC Dunder Blust. Pretty much, the only thing is that his eyes are shaped like how they are in my profile pic (Bigger reference inside of his application).
  23. Dunder sighed. The point of them stopping was to collect their thoughts, not for this pony to give up and lower the morale of the group. How he approached Dusty giving up would determine how badly the morale would be hurt, at least he thought. He was mildly surprised but ultimately glad to hear the other ponies still had confidence in Dusty. Dunder would just have to choose his wording carefully to make sure he didn't collapse what the other ponies had built up for their doubtful navigator. Dunder took a few more deep breaths before speaking, "Yes, Dusty, we know you don't know where we are. None of us know where we are, that's why you are getting us out of here." Dunder said, somewhat flatly. "But get up... we need to move out again. I can almost smell the diamond dogs getting closer... Down that cave, there!" He said while pointing a hoof down one of the off chutes of the small clearing they were in. Meanwhile.... the diamond dogs and the griffons were all getting back on their feet. The trap had disorientated the dogs' simple minds after they all collapsed upon eachother. The griffons were originally leading the group, so they got several armored diamond dogs of weight on them. And of course, they were all a little annoyed at eachother and the ponies, but they didn't take off just then to persue.
