  1. When Squall told him that maybe it was his time to go back to Cloudsdale, Dunder shook his head, "Nope, I'm here with about a day or two to spare to get to Cloudsdale. I can stay here a while." He said with a smile. "And I can help with renovations and cleaning, perhaps." He told the unicorn stallion before turning back to Fire. Dunder wasn't going to make any more comments on Fire's kissing him. Maybe, like she said, she could give him another kiss. His cheeks turned red at the thought. He nuzzled her on the side of the neck, "Don't worry, that kiss was more than enough of a 'thank you' for saving your flank." He said. "And I don't remember, usually you just call me Dunder, but it is Blust." He said to the red pegasus mare with a smile as they trotted down the cobblestone road, the noises of their hooves on the stone under their voices. When he saw the glance from Fire, he returned it, "Ohh, yeah, I have my job to go to in a few days, I wouldn't worry about it. I have plenty of times to get back." 'By the way, how far is this house? And it can't be that run down. Just trim a few hedges and maybe dust a few bookshelves? Becuase a mansion can't be just abandoned...right?" He asked Swift, but something about the way he sounded earlier made Dunder feel uncertain about it all.
  2. Dunder glanced back at the griffon female, she was still talking. This time something about treating the diamond dogs the same and fairly, making sure they didn't rip each other's heads off. The diamond dogs all looked like they were ready to lay their weapons down and do what their griffon masters told them. He knew that if they had to fight, they wouldn't put up much of one against both the griffons and diamond dogs. They needed to make a decision now. He turned back around to the ponies. "The way I see it, it'll be nearly impossible if we try to go through the front and out where we came in. We fell down too far, and only two of us can fly. I'm also not going to be the hero and be left behind if I don't need to." He said before thinking some more. He was distraught that Winter hadn't said anything, his opinion could have been a deal breaker, but he couldn't ask and wait for a response from the stallion. "We can't wait here too long, going through the front is suicide and staying behind to try to make the diamond dogs and griffons fight is too risky if it doesn't work. We need to slip away, hopefully Dusty can navigate us out and maybe away from the danger. These tunnels can't be too small." He trotted after midnight to get his stuff back. "Midnight, you and me are staying in the back... if they try to catch up, Winter and Dusty will help Muggo' to not run on his bad leg. You and me are staying in the back... if anything gets out of hoof, leave me behind." He said casually. "Alright, everypony, move out." He said while pointing a hoof at a nearby entrance to another system of tunnels.
  3. Dnder chuckled happily as she tackled him. He hugged her tight and kissed her on the cheek, "I'm glad to have met you Ice Storm. You are a truly wonderful mare... and if I hadn't landed in that Ponyville cafe, I might have never met you." He said happily. He was glad to have met the mare. He never knew that they would become soclose, close enough for them to get into a relationship. He gave her a swift kiss.
  4. Dunder's eyes opened wide in surprised as she kissed him hard on the lips. He kept it there, he didn't want to pull away. She was his friend but it felt too good to pull away. After all, it tasted pretty good and she smelled rather nice. He also thought she looked pretty good. He didn't know why she kissed him, though. Was it because she liked him and she had to release all of her feelings at once? Or did she just try to give him a kiss on the cheek and she accidentally aimed to the side too much and caught his lips. Either way, he enjoyed it while it happened. When she pulled away and gave him the hug, he hugged her back tightly. While listening to her speak, he could tell that she was either embarrassed or nervous. He only wanted her to calm down. "Wow? Muggo' and his mare already getting to dragging eachother around?" He chuckled, "He's a big pony too. She has to be strong. Anyway, I am doing good... and my name is Dunder Blust, miss Firewalker." He said and gave her a warm smile. He started to hover back down to the others. "Anyway, this isn't Blueblood...I don't think he'll get us a job, but maybe he will... you can ask. He's a good pony and you were always better with the Canterlot types." He said softly into her ear while he landed on the ground and pulled away from the hug. "Anyway, Fire, this is Swift Squall." He said to Fire Walker. "And Swift, this is Fire Walker." He said to Swift. "And we aren't dating, that kiss was..." He trialed off, not actually sure what it was.
  5. Nice looking App. There aren't many dressmakers that are very active, and some more ponies like Rarity could be useful But, some small problems still are in your app, some big and some small. 1) The back story is a little too general. It hardly talks about her past in very much detail. Some more information on her relationship to her parents and her sister could help. Also some information on why she left and some information on her early life relationships to her friends and school and stuff like that, remember to be descriptive and creative! 2) Unfortunately, she cannot live in Ponyville, there is an overpopulation problem in Ponyville. There are other cities check The World of Equestria to see other places to live. 3) Working in the Ponyville library isn't allowed. D: It would require a previous relationship with Twilight, and that goes against the rules. 4) The cutie mark story is a bit off. You say that she looked around in a bad snowstorm for hours, but carrying her sister in a "mild trek" back to the house was exhausting? Also, what were her parents doing? Did they just forget about her sister or were they worried? It seems like the story could be so much more revealing for her character than it is now. Besides this, your app looks good Post again when you revise it!
  6. Dunder smiled as the pony apologized, but he wanted to get off of the subject. No need for the unicorn to keep thinking about those memories that obviously bothered him. He was glad that he was introduced to the other pony that was standing by, a good way to change the subject. Dunder looked at the other pony, an earth pony who had just been introduced to him. Dunder knew he couldn't act too shy now, "Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you, Oak." He said and shook the pony's hoof, making sure to keep eye contact and a solid hoof shake. But, when Swift let out the small yell, Dunder flinched a bit and looked over at him, now he was confused. He decided to save it for another time, he nodded at Swift, "Fine, we can leave...lead the way." He said before hearing some wing flaps behind him. He turned around to see a familiar tail and set of red hooves before they got on top of a cloud. He looked back at the others, "Wait here...." He said before launching into the air heading for the cloud. He launched himself through the cloud and tackled Firewalker, getting her in a big hug that most likely had knocked the wind out of her. He rubbed his cheek against hers, "Hey, Fire!" He said happily.
  7. Dunder's heart skipped a beat, suddenly he could feel anxiety crawl up his spine. His face went from one to happiness to one of nervousness. He had never been in a relationship before, but he knew that Ice Storm hadn't been either. He shifted his laying down position, and looked down away from her. He wasn't sure what to say, the question had caught him a little off guard. It was true, he did like Ice Storm, she was a beautiful mare and was loveable. The two ponies worked well together, especially after all they had been through. He looked back up at Ice Storm and nodded, "Yes, I'll be your special somepony..." He said and smiled at her. He still looked a little nervous, he had never had a girlfriend before.
  8. Dunder noticed the pony's expression change to one of anger as he mentioned "vulgar masses." Dunder looked extremely confused, he cocked his head, "what?" Right before the unicorn went on his huge speech of misdirected anger and passion. Dunder had simply quoted a manuscript! Not Flos Duellatorum, but it was still a manuscript not Dunder's own words behind it. He was sure that the pony was familiar, but something about the term was so heart wrenching to him. As the pony went on his speech, Dunder just leaned back with a mixed expression of nervousness and confusion. "What! No? Wait...what?" Dunder asked the pony as he left. Something was wrong, it was obvious. He couldn't just leave the pony especially on that hoof. All it did was make Dunder look like a jerk in the pony's mind. Anyway, dunder wanted to be friends with this pony, he was a fellow swordstallion/duelist, whatever. The pony was also older than Dunder, and looked like they could help eachother. He quickly got up from his seat on the train and made sure he had forgotten nothing. He followed the pony, using his flying abilities to his advantage. He spotted the unicorn stallion and flew over. "Swift Squall!" He said as he landed next to him, "I don't know why you got mad back there, but for whatever reason, I'm sorry." Dunder said, just hoping this unicorn would calm down. He didn't know if he was a hothead and if Dunder could choose between drawing his sword and flying, he wasn't sure what he would do at this point.
  9. Awesome application We need ore art ponies that don't specialize in music anyway. Though, it looks good, some small problems need to be fixed but they are quick and easy. 1) The "Age" section doesn't use numbers, instead use words. Like Foal for a baby, filly for a female teenager, but since yours is a young adult, I'd say you should put her as a young mare. 2) Cloudsdale is spelled with no capitol "d", it's not something you really NEED to fix, just something you can if you want to spell it correctly. 3) The little not at the bottom, can be taken out and just added in with Physique.
  10. Dunder was ready to move out of the way of Martel's strike, but at the last moment the earth mare came back and smashed her hooves into the pony's back in what looked like it should have been grizzly. Dunder laid the sword tip on the ground and got back on all fours as Argenta walked over. As she told him to leave, he only took another deep breath and didn't look at her while he spoke, "I'll be fine... the ribs are cracked, not broken." He said as he watched Martel spin the hammer. Dunder sighed, "Well, whoop-di-do!" He said, getting annoyed by this same move over and over again. He needed an alternative, something to throw him off... and the sight of one of Argenta's soldiers keeping the crows away gave him an idea. The soldier was almost directly behind him, Dunder turned around and casually took their sword out of their scabbard. It was a sabre, but it would have to do. Before anypony could protest and as he trotted back towards Martel, he tossed it into the air, to get a fetlock grip on the back and to get on hid hindlegs. He laid the flat of the sword blade on his other foreleg and leaned back. He shot forward, pushing the sword and ripping away the support foreleg so the sword could fly straight. It was off a bit, and headed towards the pony's neck, right above the chainmail.
  11. Dunder watched the pony use the sword. He knew how to parry or block and counter each one, and grinned. Though when he spun the blade fast, he was only mildly impressed. Unicorns always thought they were the best swordponies, they had magic and sometimes agility, sometimes matched or less than a pegasus'. Though, they lacked the strength of an earth or pegasus pony. And they couldn't fly. Anyway, a jack of all trades and a master of none wasn't going to get a pony very far in a battle against a well trained opponent. "That was impressive, but you could swing at me with your magic and use multiple styles to slash or stab at me, but I will use the same 13 guards to fence you. anyway, you can't know all the manuscripts, there are hundreds if not thousands, too many. It's impossible to master all of them. Anyway, you can stab or slash at me hundreds of different ways, and 13 guards will defend against all of them and will lead me to counter. I know about 2 styles for each of my weapons, it's just that I use one, maybe two because I know there are other things to fall on and I don't want to much up my thoughts with too many options. Anyway, Flos Duellatorum is for ground fighting, and it instructs how to use the sword if held in the fetlocks." He said before drawing the rapier and gripping it tight in both of his fetlocks. "Holding the sword in the mouth or in the tail or wings is called a peasant or vulgar guard. Because a pony off the streets, the vulgar masses will try to hold it like that." He told the unicorn, hoping he was following along. "Also, I know how to use my hooves, not nearly as well as my swords, but still. It's something to fall back on." He told the unicorn in front of him. "Because, of this reason: Do you know how long a sword fight lasts?" He asked the unicorn.
  12. The griffons were not at all happy by the pony's of the diamond dog's behavior. The female griffon seemed to calm down, after taking a few deep breaths. She said something in another language, the words sounding cool and calm from her mouth. The other griffons didn't say anything, they just looked at her, got on their hind legs, and drew their swords while stepping in front of her. "Dogs," She said, "Go ahead and riot! Rebel! These ponies know about your lives much more than us, your caretakers who have cared and payed and given you shelter and leadership." She said. Before she started talking, Dunder hoped he was wrong about where this was going. He rounded up the other ponies quickly. "We need to get out of here, now." He said simply. "She might turn the tables, we need to get out of here before we have dogs and Griffons on us. If you mined anything, take it and stash it. We're definitely not leaving empty hooved." He told the other ponies, checking over his shoulder.
  13. Dunder ate happily as she asked the question, his face moved from eating happily to deep in thought. His face was not at all surprised or creeped out. "Well, when I see you, I think of the first time we met in that cafe in Ponyville...and how I didn't think you'd be such a good friend based on first impressions. You had so much on your mind and so much energy, I thought you'd leave me behind, honestly." He chuckled at how silly it sounded, "But you're still going, and you haven't forgotten about me." He said with a smile. "And I see a beautiful mare." He added on before looking away, a little shy.
  14. Dunder looked at the floor and ran a hoof through his mane as Rok took a drink, he couldn't really protest how much he drank if he didn't see. When the boss pony said that their only payment would be their share of Iron ore, Dunder nodded and looked to the ground. He wasn't even sure how much one fifth was. He quickly shoveled about one fifth into his saddlebag and one fifth of Rok's not at all being generous for the miners. He shot Rok a glance, "Let's leave, quick." He said before closing the bag and trotting down the well lit rail tracks.
  15. Dunder just worked the rock as he thought about other things. It was easy to do monotonous labor with other things on your mind. Maybe Dunder and Rok could go to Fillydelphia and get some drinks after this was over. He could pay for them even if they didn't get paid much. Heck, he might even but some more metal ingots for Storm for when he went back up to Cloudsdale. After a while, Dunder got tired, he put the pickaxe down and quickly pulled out a metal canteen, he was coping with the heat fine, but he hadn't noticed Rok. As he took a peek over, Dunder could tell that Rok needed the water more... Dunder took a sip of the water from the canteen before hoofing it over to Rok. "Drink up, you need it." He said.
  16. Dunder looked confused. AS Rok trotted away and talked to one of the worker ponies, Dunder only galloped up next to him after that, "wait, what's going on? Did you get a job as a miner pony? Because if you did, that's good, you need a job anyways." He teased and bumped Rok's flank with his. "Anyway, I might as well join you, not like I'm leaving you down here alone to get free stuff. Besides, Storm might appreciate a little more metals." He said as he grabbed a pickaxe and hard hat. He was surprised they'd get hired right off the bat like this, while they hardly knew the ponies. They must be really desperate for works if they would hire ones who fell out of the sky.
  17. Dunder nodded as he listened to the story, he just looked the pony in the eye as he payed attention to the storytelling. The story was odd, this pony was obviously of a high status if his relative so close had such a large stash of weapons. But, that was only if he was going to take this pony's word. He hoped it was true, he didn't want to take this pony's word as false all the time. Anyway, he wasn't intimidated by a large armory, just because he had different kinds of blades didn't mean he was any more deadly. When he was done, Dunder nodded, "Yeah. Sounds interesting, and pretty funny." He smiled and chuckled a bit. "You like longswords? I know how to use them. Longswords, rapiers, warhammers, longswords used as warhammers, spears..." He said, and tapped his chin, looking away in thought, "That's about it... anyway, what manuscript did you use for the longsword? I used Flos Duellatorum." He said, trying hiding his excitement, he had never really met another pony with similar interests, especially specialty with longswords.
  18. Dunder landed heavily on his rump, not sure where the tunnel was going to end, so when it quickly cut off it caught him off guard. He hit the ground heavily, and looked at the stiletto in Rok's mouth. "Put that down, I'd kill you before you got one stab at me." Dunder said casually as he stood up, he glanced around. "Awww dang! We fell down one of the holes..." He said as he watched the workers. He suddenly looked nervous.
  19. Dunder looked back, "Oh...my...." He facehooved before putting his rapier and the lamp away and jumping in after Rok. Though, he used his hooves to help slow himself down, and hopefully not crush Rok.
  20. Dunder was surprised by Rok's reaction, there was a fine line between bring brave and being stupid. "Wait, Rok!" He called as he followed after him, the cave was dark, almost too dark to see the ground, so he started to fly to avoid stepping on anything. He soon caught up and tackled Rok, "You stupid pony! You never go rushing into a cave like that." He said before standing up. He pulled out a lamp from one of his saddlebags and lit it. He drew the rapier from the scabbard and used it as a pole to carry the lamp, it lit the cave better, "There, see? Better."
  21. Dunder headed in the direction after looking off where Rok had pointed out. He started to lower in altitude, as the approached the rails. He dropped off and flew over him, landing on the ground. "Come on, we need to make sure this cave was made for steel and not a gem or coal mine." He said as he trotted down the tracks, eventually reaching the mine, there were no signs or markings, making it extremely eerie. "Well, vanguarding is exclusively for the brave, so..." He teased as he stepped into the mine.
  22. Dunder chuckled, "Yes, you are very lucky. I guess I'm very lucky to know you too." He said as he laid down on his side onto the checkered cloth. He smiled when he saw her bring out the flower sandwiches and the salad. "thank you, so much." He said, "Pretty nifty being a unicorn, eh?" He said playfully and chuckled. He started to eat some of his sandwich as she asked her question. He nodded to her and covered his mouth with his hoof, as food was still in his mouth, "Yes, it's doing pretty good now. I got a slight raise because of my hard work." He said and smiled. "And this food is pretty good." He said after swallowing. "I didn't know you could make food that wasn't ice-related so well." He complimented with a smile.
  23. Dunder Blust was disappointed by the pony, the unicorn seemed to want to ignore him. Maybe Dunder was wrong, maybe this pony was just a regular Canterlot noble who trotted around with a sword because he thought he knew what he would be doing with it. Maybe the look he gave the rapier was intimidation because Dunder could actually know the martial art behind the sword? The brown pegasus hoped not, meeting another swordpony was rare and meeting new ones was always an interesting experience. He started to look away, thinking about trying to get this unicorn's attention back. Fortunately, that was unnecessary as that was when he heard the unicorn's voice. He looked back up as the unicorn asked his questions and introduced himself. Dunder nodded and smiled, "Hello, Swift. And I am taking the rain because I didn't want to fly to Cloudsdale while the weather ponies are planning storms between Canterlot and Cloudsdale. Anyway, the fly from Fillydelphia won't be that bad with an extra day off to spare... I am a chef." He said, hoping that would help clear up anything. When he saw the pony was looking at his flank, he looked down too, "Yes, my cutie mark." He said right before the train newsagent walked in. Dunder looked at the agent, then back to Swift, "So, I see you have a sword as well. I suppose you know how to use it, right?" He asked, hoping this pony wasn't a poser.
  24. Dunder smiled at Fire when she booped his nose, he nuzzled the side of her neck, "You can be such a sweetheart sometimes." He said softly before sitting back up with a smile on his face. He was glad to have good friends like Firewalker. Maybe even Blueblood would pull his head out of the ground and enjoy the smell of the flowers instead of criticizing them. When Muggo' pronounced the plate, Dunder dropped the smile and went to a surprised look. He started to chuckle a bit, the way Muggo' pronounced with his accent made him sound funny. He tried not to burst out laughing, the last thing they needed was to attract attention, not for him, but for Fire and Muggo'. Had he been alone, he wouldn't care, he has nothing to prove to these ponies and the ones who were descent would understand, anyway. The only pony he needed to prove anything to now was Blueblood, and after they started on the expedition, then they would be stuck together. He nodded at Blueblodd after Fire accepted the question to join him on the journey. He just hoped that the unicorn stallion wouldn't be a dead weight, else Dunder would have to beat him into shape himself.
  25. As he was told her life so far, he could only smile happily at her. He was glad to see that she was comfortable and living happily inside of Ponyville. What made him even happier was that he knew he helped her along the way. Maybe not as much as the other ponies, but still. "Good to hear. It's really good that you are making friends. And even the princesses... that's amazing." He told her softly, still trotting along beside her. He sat down under the tree, he took the white and red checkered cloth and laid it down on the grass under the tree. He didn't understand why ponies always laid the cloth down, but he wouldn't question it since it was still mostly Ice's picnic. He took the basket from Ice's mouth and set it in the middle of the cloth. "So, what are we going to eat first?" He asked as he looked inside of the basket.
