  1. Dunder took Rok's fetlocks in his and took off into the air with great effort. Dunder huffed, "You're going to need to lose some weight before I carry you again." He said as he took off flying. "And keep your eyes out for anything that looks like a mine shaft. Look for rails and carts...stuff like that." Dunder said as he carried Rok.
  2. Dunder Blust had been camping out, watching the road for any raiders while resting in a small foxhole he made under a nearby bridge. He had been sleeping through everything, except when the gunshot rang out. He jolted awake and quickly got to his position, watching the road. He couldn't see much, but he could definitely see some bloodwings through his scope. He lined up one shot, but before he fired, it got shot. He lowered his rifle, scared that there was a raider sniper somewhere around him. Or even a group of raiders would cause enough problems. HE scanned the landscape through his scope, but couldn't see the shooter. Their use of a suppressor wasn't helping either. While searching, he noticed what seemed like some ponies. He could only see their heads through the scope. They looked like they were rushing, maybe raiders or more bloowings were coming... maybe they were raiders too. He crawled out of the foxhole after making sure he had everything he needed. He put his rifle in its holster before flying on top of the bridge, fortunately for him, they seemed to be distracted by something else. He climbed on top of the bridge and got to cover where a section of the bridge's wall had been broken. From there he watched.
  3. Dunder glanced around, "Maybe..these are plains after all." He said. "It'd be easier if I carried you." Dunder said as he started to hover. He held out his hooves for Rok to grab.
  4. "I don't know. If we looked around, I suppose we could find some mines... Though, I don't have the proper equipment to go mining." Dunder said. Rok was obviously not well versed on how mining worked either.
  5. Dunder shook his head at Rok, "Nope. And you do know that steel isn't mined from the ground? It's made by mixing iron and carbon... I'm pretty sure." He said. He wasn't too sure and would hate to misinform the already uninformed pony. "But I will help you search for it, none the less." He said to Rok. Not wanting to let the pony down.
  6. Dunder was flying along one of the roads between cities. He was flying fairly close to the ground, and a good thing for that too. He heard a familiar pony's voice. He looked down at the road to see the familiar pony, Rok, in the distance. He flew down to the pony and landed heavily in front of him, "Hey, you. How are you doing?" He asked the pony, "And I'm just flying along here. A better question is what are you doing here?" He asked Rok.
  7. The female griffon was bursting with rage as the ponies spoke because the diamond dogs were listening to them. They weren't the smartest, but they were definitely stronger than the griffons and outnumbered them too. They also didn't need much to change their fickle minds, so Dusty's words stuck to them. The female griffon didn't hurt any of the ponies' bodies. Instead, she decided to hurt their morale. "Fine, you ponies love to work your mouths so much, all of your food rations are to be cut in half." She said, a desperate attempt to get the ponies to submit. Meanwhile, the other male griffon was looking scared behind the female griffon. Dunder slowly trotted inside of the mines. He could tell that this place was already mostly cleared of gems, but it was small. Bruteforcing the mining process wasn't ideal and he knew that it could only get worse for them. they needed a way out and Dusty was onto something. the griffons were behind the doors as they closed. Two diamond dogs kept watch on the ponies, "Get to work!" They said to them all. To enforce themselves, they gave the pony in the back, Winter, a smack on the back with the shaft of a spear.
  8. Probably meld that one with the last one and make the expedition in Ushanti or Badlands or something.
  9. Hmm... that one sounds really good actually.
  10. What exactly are we going to be doing for Blueblood, though?
  11. And whoever else wants to be there can be there.
  12. Dunder greeted all the ponies who had trotted up and maybe bumped into them with the same greeting, "Hello, I'm Dunder Blust." When Nahime started to trot up her way into the museum, he followed close beside her. After she ordered a ticket inside, he soon bought one of his own. He looked back to the other ponies who had started to follow them. He smiled back at them before turning back and trotting inside.
  13. Dunder sighed. He was acting like kind of an idiot. He was just nervous because of what he had done, which he regretted doing now. He looked up at both of them, "Okay, then. I'll stay." He said. "So we're going back to the cave?"
  14. Dunder was glad to finally see all the ponies were finally silent. He couldn't stand the idea of one of them getting hurt. But, of course, Muggo' spoke again. Dunder prepared for the worst. The griffon was surprised to see the pony stand up like that. He smiled back nervously, his eyes full of fear as Muggo' made his threat. "I...uhhh.." The griffon was lost for words. He was scared of the large green stallion. Though, it made it easier for him to be less cowardly when the female griffon flew up. "You! Quiet yourself before I smack you so hard that your grandchildren will feel it." She said, going eye to eye with Muggo'. She was obviously one of the least cowardly of the griffons. She was also probably the leader role of the group of griffons. They were all led to a large wooden door guarded by two diamond dogs. They pulled the door open to reveal a cave, well lit to make sure none of the gems were missed. "What are you waiting for? Get inisde!" the female griffon spat at all the ponies.
  15. Dunder nodded, "Sure. Just tell me when you want to leave... then we can go." Dunder said. It was getting later in the night anyway. He also needed to get this pony situated in his house. When she offered some of her food, Dunder took a bite of it. It tasted good... just like all the food from the pub. "This does taste good..." He said after he swallowed.
  16. The griffon smacked dusty again with his wing. "I said no talking!" He spat at the pony. "What part of that do you not understand? Just keep walking. He said as he grabbed Dusty by the vest and pushed him forward. The female griffon grabbed Midnight by the jaw and pulled her head to face her. "When you talk to me, look at me!" She commanded then pushed the pony, "Didn't they show you how to do anything right in the REA? Jeez... It must have been horrible to serve you... you'd probably get me killed." She said, trying to insult the pony's REA background and leadership rank as much as possible. Dunder winced every time another one of the ponies got hurt or yelled at. If he knew he was the only one at risk, he'd fight back with a force to scare Celestia. But, he was glad that the possibly weakest, at the time being, in the group wasn't speaking or getting hit. He didn't know what he would do if winter had gotten hit. He knew he needed to speak up, "Everypony Just--" He was cut off when one of the diamond dogs smacked him on the head with the spear. He lost balance a bit as he rubbed his head. He looked at the diamond dog with one eye... remembering his face. The male griffon flew up to Muggo' and landed beside him. His face was full of rage. "Who said you could talk?" He demanded, "Shut up!" He yelled at Muggo'
  17. "No..." Dunder said, "do you want me to stay?" He asked them both. His eyes shifted from Storm to Ink. "I mean... if you guys want me to leave, I will.I wasn't invited here anyway... I think it was supposed to be your date." He said. He couldn't help but feel that the ponies wanted him to leave. Though it was only after he kissed Storm
  18. Dunder was slightly dismayed to hear that the notice board was needed to be put on hold. Though, when the Dunder saw the mare's enthusiasm about finding a party to go out with. He smiled at her enthusiasm and her energy. Though, the party seemed like it would be a little specific... though it seemed balanced. He also had to agree it would be a pretty good party, but he knew that their 'dream team' would probably not come true. When she asked him where he lived, he was surprised. He wanted to be nice.... but letting a mare sleep in his house for the night might give some ponies the wrong ideas. He hardly knew the mare as it was... though, he knew that he needed to be hospitable. "Sure. I guess you could come to my house? I mean... If I need to get to know you better..." He said, thinking about it. "And don't worry about getting worked up, it's fine." He said to her with a smile.
  19. As Dunder listened to the mare, he looked a little confused. He had never said they they actually killed the, so when Muggo' explained, Dunder looked at him and nodded. "Yep, ran off when it realized that we knew how to fight." He said with a grin to Muggo'. "And it did end well. We saved the day and whatnot." Dunder said, somewhat sarcastically. When Fire said that they could go check out the board in the guard office, Dunder rubbed his head with his hoof. "Maybe.... It could be interesting. Just not sure what is there... or what is not there..." He said, thinking about if the board was actually a huge disappointment. "But I'll check it out with you anyway." He said with a smile. He was glad to make a new friend.
  20. As the ponies all put down their weapons, Dunder sighed. He knew there was a too slim of a chance for him to fight back and live. He was just glad the other ponies accepted his order to surrender. The griffons and the diamond dogs all began to close in on the group of ponies. Dunder took off his saddlebags and threw them over next to his sword. As Dusty spoke, one of the griffons slapped him with their wing, "Shut your talking!" He commanded the stallion pegasus. "Or else I'll hit you again." He thretened. It was the same griffon that mocked Muggo'. Actually, he soon turned to the earth stallion, "And if you wouldn't be able to hurt me, you're old and a pony!" He said before chuckling. some of the diamond dogs and griffons joined. Dunder saw Muggo' grin at him, but didn't respond. He only gave him back a blank stare with one eye. The diamond dogs formed a circle around the group of ponies, "Single file and march!" She told the ponies from the back of the line, behind Dunder. Dunder hel his head high, he knew he needed to be strong for the rest of them. He cleared his throat before speaking, "Ponies, these diamond dogs are oafs and these griffons are greedy. We will prevail." He said before getting smacked in the back of the head by a spear. He felt like bucking the dog in the face, but didn't, knowing that it'd end up horribly. The female griffon flew up beside Midnight, "And you're not going to be a hero, Miss Lieutenant in the REA?" She asked, emphasizing the mocking when he addressed her. "You seem to be following your leader pretty well. I suppose you don't want to revisit your REA days, pony?" She asked, the mocking tone still present.

  23. Dunder was ready to leave, he hovered there for a moment before sighing and landing. "Are you sure? I could just leave and leave you two alone." Dunder said as motioned toward the sky with his head. When Ink gave Storm the flower, Dunder trotted over to his flower and picked it up, "This is for both of you." He said to them as he carried it in his mouth.
