1. Dunder got up and pat Dusty on the back, "Come on, man, we just have to push on a little further... if this cart leads us anywhere, it should be out of here." He said, trotting past Midnight, "Good work..." He said, trotting past. "Midnight is right, you'll rest plenty when we are getting drinks at a tavern." Dunder said, trotting back over to Dusty and helping the pony trot over to the cart. "C'mon, in the cart.." He said, hopping in with he help of his wings.
2. Dunder began to eat and drink more furiously, he didn't actually know he was this hungry. Pretty long flights usually did that sort of thing to him. He scarfed down fry after fry, each potato slice tasting better than the last and each swig of soda feeling more and more satisfying with its smooth and bubbly texture. When Muggo' left to go show squall downstairs, Dunder already knew what the downstairs level looked like, and he was going to join them soon enough, but he'd just need to finish his food. Anyway, his body was turned and he sat listening to Wind talk and talk and talk, just like her older sister. And her stories were funny too, her talking about Fire and her friends when the beer pony makes his rounds made Dunder need to cover his full mouth and laugh. Slapping the counter and his eyes closed as he listened to Wind's innocent retelling of these stories. But her mentioning of kissing made him stop faster. Especially when she leaned in close, Dunder backed away, but the filly got him on the nose. He knew that she wasn't going to give a real kiss, but as she went on to describe the colt, Dunder couldn't help but chuckle. "Sounds like a keeper." He said, "If you go out with that colt, you have to introduce me to him. I'll make sure he's a good colt." He said and took another swig of soda happily. And at the mention of Fire's singing voice, he gave Fire a sly look. He remembered the time after a long talk and after some mild coercion that he got her to sing. When he finished his food, he got up and trotted alongside Fire, enjoying the mare's company. When she whispered her request, Dunder nodded, "I know. She's a smart one, don't worry, it'll be safe." He said. Dunder's heart skipped a beat when Swift asked about Ice, Dunder's fiancée. He was going to miss her and her warm presence at night. He finished his last few trots down the stairs, "Well, uh... she's a nice unicorn..." He said, really not wanting to talk about this in front of Fire and Wind. He'd need to dodge this bullet fast. "I'll tell you later." He said, "It'll be..." He glanced at Muggo' then back at Swift, "Bro time. No mares allowed." He said and shook his head.
3. Celestia's sun was bright, lighting the city of Trottingham. Ponies went about their days as normal, nothing in particular was astounding or out of the ordinary. At least, not yet. Dunder trotted alongside his friend, Percival. The yellow unicorn was kind enough to invite Dunder out to Trottingham. After the whole airship crash incident, Dunder was glad to finally be friends with the unicorn. Especially since at the beginning the two stallions were ready to tear each other to shreds. Anyway, this unicorn was rather nice after you got past the whole defence of wounded patients. "So, where do you want to go now? Not much else we haven't seen in Trottingham." Dunder asked as he trotted aongside the unicorn, Trottingham being one of the least visited of the pegasus's towns, right in front of Stalliongrad.
4. After Dunder pulled away from the kiss on the nose, his hears flicked and he stopped, blushing when Granola freaked out about Dunder and Fire. His wings began to flap softly from being nervous. He nuzzled Fire's cheek, "We are." He said, even though he was sure Granola couldn't hear. He turned to face Sherlock when the earth stallion spoke some Prench. He shot Sherlock a sour look and turned back to Fire, "¿Que pasa, garrapata? ¿Bien, bein?" He asked, then looked back when Sherlock said Dunder's name. "Oh, yeah, hey Fleur!" He said happily and waved, then turned back to Fire. "¿Cómo no?" He said and chuckled "Tú eres esta aqui conmigo." He said and nuzzled her again as she was dragged off by Luna's wing. He looked upset, being reminded he couldn't enjoy his time with Fire that much now that Luna took her. He turned around and sat, pretending not to be upset Fire was taken when Sherlock addressed Dunder's marefriend. He smiled and chuckled at the stallion's jabs, he also knew what came next, so he was silent as Sherlock introduced himself. But, Dunder had to throw in his jabs as well, "Yeah, yeah, I haven't taken here before. Why would I want to come here with some dirt licking Earth stallion?" Dunder said and stuck his tongue out at Sherlock and chuckled. "And why wouldn I not talk about you? Our adventures are some of the best.... like the time you got knocked out from that one stallion and I had to end up dragging your useless flank out of there."
5. Dunder wished he could persue. But as for right now, the adrenaline was making his wound not hurt, but he could tell it would later. IT wasn't a big wound, but it was well placed and deep. He propped himself up on his sword. Putting the point on the ground and leaning on it for support. His breathing was heavy and he was beginning to sweat, the stress and relief of having the hostages taken then freed. He took a few seconds to breath around the scattered eating-ware and glass. Then, he was suddenly embraced by a mare, a familiar red one he was particularly happy to see. Dunder hugged her tightly back, dropping his sword. He nuzzled her neck hard, glad beyond measure to see she was alive and well. He gave her a small kiss on the cheek and nuzzled her again when she said something about a drill sergeant. He glanced over and trotted alongside Fire. He only greeted the drill sergeant with a slightly sheepish smile. He then turned his attention to Fire, she seemed to have a pretty good idea. "Alright!" HE said happily, excited to lead his own team. He quickly trotted to gather up some ponies, quickly gathering up a large unicorn stallion noble, probably one of Blueblood's acquaintances, a pegasus mare who looked like she was ready to do whatever it took for some excitement, a pegasus stallion who was near the mare, and an earth stallion probably some kitchen staff. "Alright! We are going to clear downstairs!" He called to his squad and trotted off.
6. Dunder was upset that Midnight didn’t hug back. After all that they had been through, with one of the dangerous missions he has ever been in was spent fighting alongside and even looking at her for inspiration. He thought she would know how to return a hug, especially with a daughter. Maybe there was more to it, and in that case he wasn't sure if he wanted to know what it was. If anything, she'd warm up by the end of it. It was a wedding, after all. "Midnight, I am so glad to see you came. We'll need o catch up, maybe I'll take you out to get a few drinks with some of my other travelling buddies.." He said and glanced around, wondering where Fire was, "Speaking of her, she has a sister, about your age..." He said as he looked over at Hopesong. Then Candy approached, he was about to speak as she approached, but she spoke before him and caught him off guard. After her examination and the tear brimming in her eye, he smiled softly and hugged her tightly, "Please don't cry Candy." He said and gave her a small squeeze. He couldn't stand to see one of his friends cry, especially since he knew he could be part of the problem. Then another pony approached, Dunder smiled wide, "Sherlock! You smelly dirt--" He cut himself off when he remembered Hopesong's presence. AS Sherlock trotted up and spoke, Dunder could only smile. He knew Sherlock would come, but he was glad to see he stallion there nonetheless. "It's good to see the stag party didn't get me face-down in a ditch near Manehattan." He said and chuckled. But as he left, Dunder felt worried for a moment, "Just....don't make her hate you!" He called after Sherlock as the dark brown stallion left to go talk to Ice Storm.
7. Dunder listened to Fire and Wind talking as his fries and soda was served. Them talking to Wind about her flight abilities. Dunder and her usually talked about it when he visited. He was never a fast flier, but he knew plenty about self control, the importance of training, and the importance of measurement and timing and he was sure to tell the little filly. She was adorable, and was a talented flier. She had so much potential, and he would hate to see it all go to waste. Even more, he'd hate to see her end up worse than that... But their talk about Fire's costume made him grimace, He took a deep gulp of the soda, trying to wash away the thoughts. He ate a rather big hoof full of fries and crewed hard, trying not to remember what he did to both of them. And when she talked about Dunder and Ice, Dunder only looked at her with one eye, cleared his thrat, and said "Yeah." Before finished off his soda and facing all the ponies again. But at the question about a karaoke set, his stomach filled with butterflies, "Oooh! Yes! Karaoke!" He said happily and looked at Muggo',
8. Dunder Kept his sword pointed at the griffon who attacked with the cutlass. Dunder breathed heavily, the cut on his hindleg was searing with pain and he could easily get flank or hurt bad with all these griffons around him. But He looked back to see the other griffon occupied with plates being thrown at him. Dunder got back to a hind-leggd standing position while taking in a deep breath to hide the pain a little. He needed to take care of this occupied one. Dunder turned around and kicked back, aiming for the place where the sun don't shine on the griffon who threw the knife, his sword still aimed at the cutlass weilding one.
9. Dunder was pacing back and forth in the outside back of the reception hall. He needed to calm down, as the day's anxiety that had been building up since he proposed to Ice was finally coming back to plague him. He was sure nothing would go wrong, but his guy kept acting like he knew something was. He wasn't worried for himself as much as Ice, Ice was the happiest mare in Equestria the day he proposed and today was her big day. Anypony that wanted to mess up today for Dunder and ice would get their own days ruined. After intense pacing, Dunder finally decided to go back into the reception hall. HE took a deep breath, feeling a little shy in his black tuxedo, white shirt, and blue bow-tie. As soon as he walked through the door, he could see the big blonde mane and solid green coat of one of his favourite ponies. He instantly flew over and landed beside the mare, "Midnight!" He said happily and hugged the mare tightly. "It's been forever since I've seen you.. and this is your daughter?" He said and looked at hopesong, "Wow, a very pretty filly. I'm sure you know how I met your mother, you should be proud of her. She is one of the few mares that I can say I would be scared of in battle."
10. Dunder's heart skipped a beat as the griffons dropped their hostages and advanced. He took a deep breath and landed heavily, sword point aimed down and behind him as he got ready to block. He backed up to not allow himself to get totally flanked. Dunder expected a strike from the cutlass and anticipated it. As the cutlass was cut down, Dunder moved the sword above his head, almost parallel to the ground to block the cut. What he didn't expect was the throwing knife. The knife sliced along the back of his hock, causing him to fall in a crouching position. He grunted in pain and anger, knowing now he was in a bad spot with his head more open to attacks.
11. Dunder kept his sword point trained on the griffons, he knew an upfront attack was way too dangerous, if it were only him he wouldn't even do it and with the hostages on the line it wasn't an option. Dunder needed something to get the griffons away from the hostages. Anything needed to be tried, "Let the hostages go, and we'll let you go." Won't work, most definately, but maybe Fire's help would be needed.
12. Cloudsdale (Although he can be pretty much anywhere) - Dunder Blust Sword master; said to be a good leader; can cook up some pretty mean beans.
13. I can imagine him as Lord Regent
14. Dunder looked back, shuddering a bit when he heard Blueblood snap. He didn't think this unicorn had it in him, but Blueblood was pretty ferocious when he was angry. Dunder had to be sure to buy Blueblood a drink after this. When Fire made the move for the leader, Dunder was sure she'd be fine. If she had a scratch on her, the griffon captain surely would not be fine after encountering Dunder. The pegasus stallion knew he'd have to help Fire, and by cutting off reinforcements and let fire do her thing would maybe be the best. HE took off and flew to the circle of griffons, his sword point aimed at them, but he stayed far enough to not let any of the hostages get hurt.
15. Dunder nodded at the dark brown mare who greeted him, "Hello!" He responded happily. Then he turned to Luna, "Well, Iyou're a very busy mare being a princess. I'll leave you to your own business." He said and smiled. He then faced the brown stallion "Shut up, Sherlock, you know I don't have to try to look good! And I was cleaning the counter from the mess you made." Dunder said and chuckled and gave Sherlock a light punch on the arm. "Anyway, you ca order me a soda... and you know I'll pay for my own drinks. I don't want you not being able to pay your part of the rent this month." He explained and let his eyes catch sight of a tall white mare with a pink mane. He remembered her. Sherlock said something about her and how they were good friends... His attention was drawn away when he heard Fire's sweet voice call his name. He looked over at the red mare, and could tell by her tone that it was pretty down low. He listened to her, his ear twitching a few times. He smiled when he caught her playful jist of what she had to say, and added his own. "Sorry, we had too many cool places to go... Didn't cross my mind to come here." He said, "And if you're not holding back next time, I suppose we should push wrestling practise up to next time." He said and gave her a wink and a kiss on the nose.
16. Dunder 's heart was almost broken by Wind getting mad at him, even though he expected it he couldn't prepare for the real thing. "Don't worry, Wind, your sister and I are on good terms now." He said, more trying to convince himself, "I will still be your sister's fuzzy brown prince, and your sister will always be my red princess." He said, hoping to cheer the filly up, "And I will still visit, your house is too cool to stop going." But that was when he caught Swift's glance. He could tell the unicorn wasn't feeling too fond of the pegasus stallion. He'd have to see waht's up later... and hopefully not but possibly smack the unicorn around a bit. "Just get me a largest mug of some soda..." Dunder said simply to Muggo'. He released Wind from the hug softly setting her down. He hoped nopony knew that Dunder was anticipating some stress from seeing Fire and Wind, and he'd need to hide some of the pain in the drink and food. "And get me some fries... please." He said while listening to Fire talk. "Wow, you won a trip to Itaily?" He asked, this was too good to be true. But he knew she wouldn't go this whole way for a prank. "I will definitely come along!" HE said. He also heard Swift's comment, he wondered why this pony said he didn't want to brag and proceed to brag.
17. Dunder was now thrown off by his own orders. After getting ready to retreat but switching orders after the reinforcements, he was now even more confused and anxious about the outcome of this attack. Muggo', Midnight, and Dusty seemed to be fighting rather well, and Winter was helping from the air. Too much was definitely on the line now. They retreat they will be run down from the back. He was glad at least Midnight was understanding of what was going on. That's when he heard Dusty get cut off, "Winter!" He cried out when he glanced back to where Dusty used to be and saw the grey stallion wasn't there, "Winter! Get Dusty out of here!" It was a split second decision, but the best option in Dunder's eyes. "Hold the line! We have no other options unless you want to be stabbed in the back as you run away!" He cried out, mostly in response to Muggo's question. He knew that the ponies must be getting fatigued, but they couldn't fall back now, they were getting the advantage. And the dogs were well aware, as more and more begin to retreat back don the cave, even a couple of griffons went, claiming they were going to rally the diamond dogs who fell back to the dismay of the female griffon. Not long after the griffons left, the female griffon cried out angrily, "Retreat! We need more soldiers!" She ordered. Almost instantly, the diamond dogs, relieved to stop fighting, began to run back down the cave. Dunder sat down facing the retreating diamond dogs, after smacking a few on the back with the sword as they fell back, "Don't persue! We need to get out of here... Is everypony alright?" He asked, looking over his shoulder.
18. Dunder drew his sword when he saw one of the griffons switch their attention to Blueblood and his guards. The blade making a quick rasp against the scabbard as the steel rubbed against it. He pushed up onto his hind legs, and held his sword, pommel at the side of his hips and the tip of the blade pointing behind him like a tail. In this guard, he was ready to counter attack and parry at the same time. He knew he'd have to get close and disarm and knock out or neutralize somehow. He was under another pony's jurisdiction and pay, he needed to follow their orders and guess what they'd want, like not killing. The griffon sent three of his soldiers out to attack the group. Fire appeared to take the attention of one, Dunder went after the other two. The first griffon came in fast, taking a downward cut at Dunder. Dunder responded by moving out of the path and bringing his sword over his shoulder and cutting to parry the rest of the blow. Dunder 's blade now rested on the handle of the griffons for a split second, and Dunder wasted no time. He grabbed the sword and the griffon's wrist in a powerful fetlock and used his momentum in the flight to slam him against the floor. For good measure, Dunder kicked the griffon on the top of the head to make sure he was knocked out, still facing the third griffon. The stallion pegasus blocked the hit of the incoming diving griffon, but he grabbed the enemy's pommel, twisting around the wrist to disarm him of the sword. To add insult to injury, Dunder smacked the pony on the head with his own sword, knocking him out.
19. Dunder trotted down the Canterlot street in the dark. He was the only one headed down the poorly lit street, just how he liked it. He'd rather avoid crowds. Anyway, the road he traveled was not often tread. It led to nowhere... at least, most ponies thought. Anyway, the walk was relaxing. Only his sword dangling at his side and some contents in his saddlebag shuffling around and the light "clip-clop" of his hooves as he trotted down the road. His very good friend Sherlock Hooves told him about this place in Canterlot in Dunder's last visit to the stallion's apartment. Dunder reviewed the instructions over and over in his head to convince himself that he was on the right track. After traveling down the road for long enough, he found the place. It HAD to be the place. Sherlock wouldn't send Dunder off with bad directions. Anyway, this placed matched the description well. An abandoned looking warehouse that looked like it had seen much better days. He trotted up and followed Sherlock's words. He trotted around to the hidden door that soon revealed itself. He trotted inside, surprised to see the stallions standing there. After a quick exchange of words and verifying of Dunder's identity, the pegasus was let in. Dunder trotted in, surprised this many ponies were there. He gave a quick scan of the crowd, standing at the entrance when he saw the extraordinarily tall pony with wings and a horn. It was Luna! And wait... were her guard's wing's red? Dunder's heart swelled with joy as the thought of it being one of his favorite mares filled his head. Then he saw a black and grey mane standing near all of them. Possibly Sherlock? The three ponies were too much of a chance for him not to check. He trotted over through the crowd, headed for the group of the three ponies. When he reached them, his heart filled with joy and his face grew wide with a grin. "Fire! Sherlock!" He said happily. He looked at Luna and bowed for the Princess and greeted her professionally with a, "My lady."
20. Dunder Blust landed in front of his old friend Muggo's bar, the "Prancing Pony." Dunder remembered his first time visiting there. He met two of his best friends Muggo' Ale and Fire Walker there. He smiled as he trotted inside, but it dropped a bit when he saw a familiar red mare there. He knew she took their 'break up' rather well, but he wasn't sure if it was because she was really angry and depressed or actually dealing with it well. He gulped, his eyes locked on her as he approached. He grinned sheepishly, "Hey, Fire!" He said, trotting up behind her, "And hey, Wind!" He said happily as he grabbed the filly in a warm hug. He looked at the other stallions, "He Swift and Muggo'. Sorry I was late." He apologized to swift, "I left a bit later than I wanted to from home." He explained.
21. Dunder was feeling better now that they had done fairly well in volleyball. He had improved since the last time he remembered, but he still felt inferior to Muggo's strength and Fire's agility, at least in the sport. As well as how good Fire looked in that one peice bathing suit... hnnnnngh. He was a little dismayed that Muggo' was prepared to leave the two, but they were the guards. Anyway, Muggo' was going to get them food and food made everything better. The stallion trotted off to his own room...well, room shared with Muggo', but he was alone then. He set up an order for two daffodil sandwiches and a side of fries and ketchup with a soft drink. The thought of eating was getting him hungry. He distracted himself with the armor. He got it on, easier than last time now that wearing it cleared up same confusion of what went where and why. The pegasus quickly got everything ready, his armor was polished, his swords were oiled that morning... Sleep looked pretty good. This time with no large green stallion using him as a cuddlepillow. Dunder crawled onto the bed and got comfortable, slowly drifting off when the knocking broke his trance. "I'm coming!" He called and scrambled out of bed. He got to the door and opened it, closing it quickly behind him to not show the mess he made getting out of bed. He followed her to the dining room, following her instructions. She was his superior officer, but he also respected the mare. Very few mares he could claim could beat him in the martial arts, and he was glad that the only one he knew was one of his greatest friends. He followed her orders, taking her blind spots and making sure to stay vigilant... especially a little vigilant of the mare in her armor. Something about the colour made her look especially beautiful. Suddenly, the oggling had to be put to a pause. The ship shook and changed courses rapidly, obviously in distress. Following Fire's lead he took a position next to her, guarding the duke with his body. Even though the stallion didn't have Dunder's respect, he didn't deserve to get hurt... that bad. Anyway, the white stallion signed their paychecks.
22. Dunder smiled. Satisfied that one of his few kisses was a good one, and sucessfully got the mare happy. He accepted the wing mesh and hugged her softly while hearing her out. "The Cloudsdale Hop? I love that one! Sure... not many pegasi around to join anyway."
23. Dunder listened to Fire, her story at least wasn't that bad. The colt could have met a tragic end there. And now Dunder knew a little more about crazy spellcaster ponies. He wasn't one much for magic. He was never jealous of the unicorn telekensis either, always seeing it as overrated. "Well, glad you've got my back. That way you can prevent me from getting my...heart stopped by a spell trap or whatever." He said and chuckled softly. He was honestly glad the mare was there for him. He listened to the unicorn stallion and his offer. That sounded pretty good. They were friends now, after all. Dunder nodded, "Sure... Just as soon as Fire is done with the adress book I will be sure to write my stuff down... though I live in Cloudsdale, so contacting me will be harder." He said and took the book. He quickly wrote down his adress in his somewhat sloppy hoof-writing.
24. Dunder was breathing heavily as pain in his head began to return. The throbbing and dull pain feeling like a slap across the head each time it passed. He wanted to lie down, but he was too able bodied to just have somepony else take care of him. And he was definately too able bodied to not help. Or maybe he was doing the opposite of what he was supposed to. The return of the yellow unicorn made him want to faceplant. He forgot about the unicorn's instructions! He would have protested and explained himself, but the unicorn was already carrying out the mare with his magic. The pegasus couldn't do anything except lower his head in embarassment. He couldn't beleive himself, how he just didn't help the pony like he was supposed to. He knew he'd have a chance to redeem himself in the future. Now he would just have to hope this unicorn went on his way... Nope, the unicorn decided that it would be approprite to just get mad. With good reason too, making it worse for Dunder. The pegasus gave the unicorn a glare, he head low. The venom in the unicorn's voice along with the anger of having the failure rubbed in made Dunder's heart swell with rage. "Go back to the other ponies!" He said, "Go! Before I bust your teeth in!" He threatened. He didn't want to fight, in fact Dunder wouldn't fight back. He wanted this unicorn to leave him alone.
