Winter slowly peaked his head in, not knowing what to expect of the ponies he had heard inside. His vision was greeted by a hulking pegasus, a smaller brown pegasus, and a light blue journalist unicorn. He slowly walked up besides them and plopped down next to them, eager to hear what they were discussing. "So guys, what are you all doing out here in a place like this? Is there anything I can help with?" He looked around eagerly. "OH, my name is Winter Bolt, by the way. Nice to meet you all!"

RP Type: Mane Name: Storm Feather Sex: Female Age: Young Mare Species: Hippogriff Eye Color: Light Blue Coat Color: Dark grey Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: She keeps her black head feathers short and out of her eyes, so she can be sure to see better and keep her bangs from getting singed by the hot furnaces she works. Physique: Storm feather, like most hippogriffs, is fast, agile, and powerful, and a very capable flyer. Cutie Mark: Her Cutie Mark is a flaming anvil. Origin/Residence: Storm Feather was born in Rockwington, a Griffon city, but currently resides in Cloudsdale. Occupation: Storm Feather is a smith. She works the forges to make simple, common items such as cups, clasps, and nails, but will sometimes be commissioned for larger projects like making housing and shops. Motivation: Storm’s main goal in life is to make sure everyone can take care of themselves. She will not hesitate to sacrifice her own wellbeing for the sake of others. She and her family worked hard every day to make a living for themselves. Her father, a griffon, was a noble and respected member of the community. Her mother, however, being a Pegasus, was not so accepted in a griffon land. When she would go to school she was ridiculed for being a hippogriff. The griffon hatchlings didn’t accept her because she was so greatly different than them. However, her family was strong and tightly bound by love. They worked as a team to get by, protecting, nurturing, and encouraging each other on. As time moved on, her family had to move closer to the Soggalong Swamps for work. They worked there for many years as mud brick makers. They would take soppy, clay filled swamp mud and compact it with long grass to make bricks that were to be used in construction in other cities. Their house, however, was a small cloud that floated just above the swamp. One day, there was a terrible storm and the swamp flooded, almost completely engulfing a neighbor’s house. No one had enough room for the small family of griffons, so Storm Feather took it upon herself to find them shelter. She worked making bricks during the day, and moved to work on a home for the neighbors by night. After several days, during which time the griffon family had stayed in their extremely cramped cloud, Storm realized just how happy she felt coming near to completion on her project, only the finishing touches were left. I could spend the rest of my life doing this… she thought dreamily to herself. The rest of my life… At that moment, she realized she could do this forever. This was her talent. The epiphany had struck, and had left her with a new home for the griffon family and her cutie mark, representing her skill in crafting, burning passion to help others and her iron will to do the right thing. Soon after, she took up a job making much more structurally sound homes, getting her enough money to finally travel to pony lands to see the other half of her heritage. She moved to Cloudsdale, her mother’s place of birth, to soak in her Pegasus culture and learn more about herself and others. Storm Feather is quick and precise, but knows how to adapt to the situation and keep everyone happy. She struggles to make sure she insults nopony through her brash behavior. She likes a good conversation, but enjoys nice, hard work and the satisfaction it brings more than anything.

Winter Bolt had been travelling from Cloudsdale westward to the Everfree Forest for what seemed like forever when he caught a glance of a large, stallion sized rock and a cozy looking home between the Everfree Forest and the Great Nimbusgait Lakes. There were no ponies in front of the shack, but he decided to take a closer look anyways, feeling exhausted from his long flight. Once he had landed, he saw lights in the windows of the wooden structure and heard happy laughing and voices coming from inside. He decided to take a chance and knocked on the door, hoping for a warm welcome and praying for warmer food; he had a long trip ahead of him.

Winter Bolt Pegasus / Young Stallion / Explorer / Application Picture Current Threads Aeroblades Interviews - Arrived a little late with his newly tailored flight suit! Hallowed Ruins - Met up with Dunder in response to a flier. Met Dusty Clouds, a map expert; Midnight Brand, a former REA member with a bad past; and Muggo' Ale, a strong earth pony bar keeper. Talked with Dusty a bit about the map, after seeing no one else was really in the mood to talk or was a bit busy. Dunder was hit by a rock in an unnatural avalanche. He was saved by Dusty and they ran for cover. They found a cave entrance and a few old sacks. The sacks contained griffon soldier dog tags and a wedding ring. Winter took the ring in case he ever found who it belongs to. Muggo fell down a hole. They all went in after him and traveled through a small, dark cave. They finally arrived at a ridge where the thing that had thrown the rocks had been. They searched for passages and Winter found one... with his back. He fell through and suffered a concussion and sore jaw. The others came in after him and were trapped, along with him, by diamond dogs and griffons. A griffon revealed that he had divorced the owner of the wedding ring long ago and harbored ill feelings for her... What a nice guy. They were then led to a mining cave to work for them to get gems. While mining, the group managed to convince the dogs to revolt against the mean griffons that were manipulating them! Now there is a full scale riot! RP History Flight Suit Fittings! - Met the rest of the Aeroblades team: Kicks - Right Wing, Sky Flare - Left Wing, Satin Ribbon - Rear, and met again Crescent - Captain and Lightning Dancer - Reserve Right Wing. Getting sized up for their flying suits. A Racing Adventure - Met up with Lightning Dancer for the first time. Met Crescent again and is trying to join his team, the AeroBlades. Winter shows his quick thinking in a stunt that gets him to keep up with the other ponies. Now they are about to attempt a trick of Crescent's own design. Of course, his flying skills last time he met Crescent don't really make Winter seem like the best choice for the team. However, he was promoted to the proud Reserve Team Captain! His Right Wing is Lightning Dancer. A Little Practice... - Met Lightning Streak and Gale Flurry and didn't recognize them as Wonderbolts. Crescent Blaze appeared and blew their cover. They all decided to practice together. They first went threw the rainbow factory's tricky network of tunnels that nearly caused Winter to crash and burn. Now they are flying through a lightning storm... What an awesome day, flying with the Wonderbolts! He even got a souvenir, a pair of goggles from Lightning Streak that Winter now brings everywhere with him. Into the Everfree - Learned to be a bit nicer to everypony... A lot nicer. Met with Rok and Storm Feather and worked with them and Dunder to chop up a tree to bring wood to Cloudsdale for Storm. Had to use teamwork. Rok left him, Storm, and Dunder to go their separate ways. Dunder only offered to teach lessons for bits, and Winter had a slight shortage of those... Winter Wrap Up: Animal and Weather Team - Hit a tree, cleared some more snow, and saw a few ponies get hurt. Winter Wrap Up: Weather Team - Met Shadow Myth, caused some accidental havoc, and had fun clearing snow! Learned who Rainbow Dash is, thinks she is bossy! Met Lightning Flare, who pointed out his mistake in clearing the clouds... Oops! Everfree Border Station - Met Dunder Blust, Bronze Breeze, and Amity Accurate! Spent the night there. Storm Feather Hippogriff / Young Mare / Craftsman / Application Picture Current Threads RP History The Second Encounter - Met with Inkblot again at the rim of the Everfree Forest for a second date! Exploring the Everfree now. Suddenly, Dunder Blust appeared! Settled in a cave with the excellent idea of using clouds as bedding! Went in search of gravel, so they could find flint. Found water, and followed it to gravel. Couldn't find flint, so they gave up and went back out of the cave. Storm then found a pretty flower and decided they should have a contest to see who could find the best! After they all met back up, Ink voted for Dunder's flower and Dunder "accidently" tripped over a rock and onto Storm, giving her a kiss on the beak! They forgive him and start to go back to the cave. Unexpected Meeting - As Rok travels alone in the heavy rain and deep shadows of the night, he is approached by a scary bandit! What he doesn't know is that it is really just Storm trying to pull a prank on him. He headbutts her and knocks her wind out and tackles her to the ground before she can get her breath back. When she does, she screams at him and tries to shove him off and get back on her feet. Then they go towards a bridge near Ponyville to discuss Rok's future. Rok pulls out a book and shows Storm a rapier and asks for her to make him one. After learning how poor he is, they make a deal. He finds her the material, she crafts it for only fifty bits. Then they slept under the shelter of the bridge. Into the Everfree - Met Winter Bolt and Rok for the first time. Worked with them and Dunder to chop up a tree for wood. Yeah, teamwork was necessary. Rok stormed away in the end and Dunder wouldn't teach rapier without bits. Not wanting to seem rude, Storm declined due to the lack of money of other ponies that wanted lessons. At the Canterlot Gardens - Got a very special somepony, Inkblot, and met Corvus, his raven. Inkblot is very timid, quiet, and poetic. Corvus seems to follow him everywhere! The Iron Wing - Sold a buckler to her first customer, Dunder. He was nice to her and welcomed her to her knew home, Cloudsdale. Learned that she does not like apple pie... Spring Shimmer Earth Pony / Young Mare / Farmer and Gardener / Application Picture Current Threads Just Passin' Through - Rok arrives exhausted at Spring's house after she has a horrible morning. She is scared of him at first, but he proves to not be a monster, but a simple traveler looking for food and water. They decide he can live with her as long as he helps with the work. While he goes out and works, Spring makes dinner like her mom taught her to. When they both sit down to eat, Spring got a huge splinter and had to have it tended to. After, she goes and gets a cushion to put on the chair that gave her the splinter. Then, while eating, she and Rok talk about what each other do. Rok asks her a question that offends her and she sulks to her room. While going after her, Rok managed to trip and hurt himself.

I have a largish electric acoustic Fender, full metal; a custom, medium sized Stagg with half nylon (over 10 years old ); a dinky little Willem full metal acoustic; and a moderate sized Squier Strat electric guitar. Other than their books, Ive read the Warriors and Harry Potter series, the Inheritance Cycle (Aragon and the like), and the one about the clay dragons (the name escapes me )
