(ooc: My apologies for taking so long!) Diamond Tiara gazed off into the middle distance as Grim begin speaking. Barely paying attention, she was surprised when the colt suddenly closed the blinds and his cousin began glowing in the dark! "Woah! That is so totally freaky!" she exclaimed. Looking around her, it seemed that most of her classmates disagreed. She let out a Hmph! before folding her front legs over her chest and sitting back to watch the rest of the presentation. The song was... okay. Kinda catchy, but nothing special, Diamond found herself thinking. She couldn't deny that the song, along with the glow, had kept her attention, though. When it was over she gave a polite, yet half-hearted clap, and rolled her eyes at the other students. As she walked out of the school building she moved over to Purple Haze's cart. Diamond normally hated carrots, but there was one meal she'd make an exception for. "Hey, do you have any carrot cake?" she asked. She looked at the green pony with the orange mane and put on her best fake smile. Messy mane, slight overbite, and the carrot cutie mark was a dead giveaway of a working class pony, but she wasn't going to poke fun when there was free food involved. When Sweetie Belle went to give a plate to the battered looking colt she sidled up to Grim. "Hey there! I'm Diamond Tiara, I don't believe we've met. Well done on the show and tell! We were all very impressed." she said, before moving in somewhat closer. "Especially Sweetie Belle." she added in a quieter voice. "Are you two, like, friends?" she asked, with a sickly sweet smile.

I don't normally read sad-fics. I like ponies because they make me happy. Still, I gave this a shot. It was a good read, the journal style was interesting. Blarg. What is it with people and that fic? I read a short paragraph on Know Your Meme and it made me feel queesy. And it wasn't even a gory bit! Might give this one a try, it sounds like it might be fun. BA? Also I just plain haven't gotten around to this. Probably never will. I have a huge backlog of fics I need to read. I still can't bring myself to read the next chapter of Paradise even though I want to.

Patience. It's only a matter of time now. And yes, I hate regurgitating news from ED, but this is important dangit!

Sweet Apple Capers: Pretty much a perfect episode-style fic. The writer got Pinkie Pie spot on. The humour is great with a heavy Looney Toons homage going on. Well worth your time.

Besides the obvious pony stuff... Books: D&D and M:tG novels. Cheesy but good. Movies: League of Extrordinary Gentlemen. Van Hellsing. Speed Racer. They're awesome, shut up. Tv: Kamen no Maid Guy (horribly fanservicey, but hilarious). Grenadier (Ditto). Final Fantasy Unlimited (It's terrible. But I love it). Music: TV and video game sound tracks. Notably the songs from the Pokemon anime. Pokemon Johto FTW!

Thanks you guys! Eeeyup! Back in the Favourite Video thread I made a post about potential remaking the 2nd Soul Eater OP using ponies. Basically imagine this with ponies. I decided that instead of wishing for it to happen, I would actually get off my butt, learn to draw pony, learn to use flash, and actually make the video. And if I can get pull it off it will be SO AWESOME.

Do you think so? I just can't see the majestic princess signing for everyone. Duet. Private singing session to/from both sisters. Precisely. Something just between the two of them. Probably as they sing about their relationship before and after Nightmare Moon. It would be a quiet, heartfelt song, slowly building up to a powerful climax as they realise that they are not so different after all. And then they hug, with teary, yet happy eyes. Oh man, I'm building this up too much. It might never happen XD

I don't know a lot about horses, but....their feet don't make the same impression without shoes? I don't think so. I mean, those are very much horseshoe shaped tracks. And Wikipedia gives me this as a reference for bare hooves. Now I'm wondering... do all ponies wear horseshoes, and we just never see them? I've heard theories that maybe they wear shoes that are coloured to match their pelt colour. Hmmm.

I've just realised exactly what I need to see in season 2. In the Luna episode... We need a musical number. We need Luna & Celestia singing a duet. We need it.
