12!! I'd like to join and draw
Welcome aboard!
-
Sorry about that. I'll post updates more frequently.
Just as a heads up, it's Fawkes' turn now, but I think I may have sent his line to the wrong email address yesterday. If he confirms this I'll give him a little longer, since it's my mistake and all.
-
A couple of very good looking anthro princesses. I like the fuller figures on these two.

Drawing, of course!
Just checking!
Alrighty then! The die is cast and the first line is sent!
Just a remind to lurkers reading this thread (I know you're there!) that there's still time to join up! It's fun and it's easy, I promise!

Game will start soon, people!
I'll happily take a shot at this! c:
Great! Line or Drawing?

Hm, I'm hesistant to put this as accepted for lack of anything Hearth's Warming Eve-ish/Christmas-y, [there just in the snow] but I suppose Santa Hooves an work something in, unless you have any additions yourself?
Ah, sorry, I figured snow would be enough. What if we put Santa hats on both of them (replacing Elixir's bowler)? Also, make the scarf red/green stripes. Actually, make that scarves. Tika should have one too.
Is that alright?

This was done about 15 minutes after the episode.
Anyway, it was good. Not that good, but still good. I dunno, just not all that excited by it. I'm glad Scoots and Dash are closer now. I like Luna (yeah her voice did seem off) getting a bigger part. Rarity and Sweetie Belle were great this episode, even if Rarity was on maximum selfishness mode (getting your little sister to carry all your stuff for you? Really? As if making Spike do it wasn't enough?).
Yeah. Good, not great.

Rules seem a bit wonkie. If you miss your window, does the next person in line switch from doing a drawing to doing a line or vice-versa?
No, it goes to the next person with the same one you're doing, and everyone shifts place to accomodate.
You should know this, Weesh, you were the one who suggested it a couple of threads back
I'm in for lines.
Excellent!

Like how you didn't give up nevertheless like the others did, Dieg- ...Havoc.
I try my best, Dieg- ...Mr. DeLaVega.

Lyra rushed to catch up as best she could. The race had been extraordinarily uneventful for her compared to last year and so she had simply run at a steady pace for much of the course. Now it was time to put on a burst of speed to try and move up a few ranks. She had already passed a couple of first-timers who had ran themselves ragged far too early, but it unlikely that'd she'd get first place again. "Oh well," she thought. "I knew it wouldn't be easy. I should have practiced more. But I can probably stay in the top 20. That's not too shabby, I'd say."
As she ran her thoughts drifted towards food, specifically the huge fudge sundae she intended to eat as a reward to herself for doing all this exercise. She and Bon Bon would go into a nice quiet café somwhere and chat for a while, order tasty desserts, and generally enjoy themselves for an hour or two. It sounded like heaven to the unicorn, and it spurred her on just a little more.

*sigh* I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up with this.

Dear Santa Hooves,
This Hearth's Warming Eve I would like a picture of my OC Elixir. He should be walking in the snow, wearing a scarf and a brown (matching his hat) winter coat (something like this). No saddle bags. He should be walking with his adopted daughter, Tika, who is a happy little sheep. Use the design for the crystal sheep (they look better) but with regular sheep colours.
Thank you so much!
Diego

I've gotten someone to do the first drawing (I hope. She didn't specify) so that's okay.
Bumping this up because we've still got plenty of space. The more, the merrier! Don't be afraid!
-
Man, no one wants that first slot. XD I may have to take it myself and get someone else to write the first line.
-
Can you specify a start date?
I'd like to start this weekend if possible.
-
heh... I'm in, of course.
I don't really have a preference. I'll say line... unless you end up needing more drawing people, in which case I'll be happy to offer my terrible art to the cause.
Heh, we may be needing you for art, looking at the list so far. Still, I'm going to give sign up a few days. I'll probably ask Angie and Fawkes again too.

Previous games: Telephone Pictionary, Telephone Pictionary 2, Telephone Pictionary 3, Telephone Pictionary 4, Telephone Pictionary 5
Righto, let's get to it.
THE RULES
On the first day, I will PM a line to the first player. That player will then have to draw what I have sent them and send it back to me. I will then pass this one to the next person in the list, who will have to write something that describes the picture they received, and so on and so on until everyone has had a turn.
This is another "Lightning Round", because that worked quite well before. When you receive a line, you have 24 hours to do a picture. When you receive a picture, you have 24 hours to write a line. Unlike last time, players do not share a day. I also don't think it's worth having players sign up for a specific day, since people sometimes do their part much quicker than expected and that can throw the timing off.
If you miss your deadline without a valid reason1, the task immediately gets shifted to the next person in line, and you will be moved to the back of the queue. Miss your deadline twice and you're out. This may seem harsh, but it's to prevent the game from stalling for too long. Try to let me know in advance if you don't think you'll be able to do your bit when it comes up and I'll do my best to reschedule.
For writers: Don't be too specific. You have one sentence. Make it count! Be creative! Don't pick out every detail, but give the gist of what's happening in your picture.
For artists: You do not need to be a good artist. It doesn't need to be good! I cannot stress this enough. You have 24 hours, but don't think that means you should try to create a masterpiece in that time. A 10 minute sketch drawn with a mouse in MS Paint is perfectly fine, and it makes things interesting for the next person in line!
SIGN UPS!
Sign ups are now closed!

I met someone while I was in London once. I was wearing my bronycon t-shirt, has lots of pony character silouettes on it. She tapped me on the shoulder while my cousin and I were going through the Underground and said "Excuse me, can I get a brohoof?". She then pointed me out to another guy that was with her. I was dead cheerful for the rest of the day.

Yeah, that's why I made sure to preorder. I know my store had, including my six, twenty copies preordered and he had nothing on the shelves. He said a few came in later looking for it and he had to tell them to come again after the second printing.
I DID preorder. That's why I'm annoyed. LoC basically got a message from their suppliers saying that they didn't have enough to go around.
-
Grrrrrr.
Legion of Comics had to postpone their release of the comic until the 19th because IDW didn't print enough copies. You'd think that with all these pointless covers for one issue there'd be more than enough to go around.

A good episode all around. There were parts I didn't like though. I felt incredibly bad for Pinkie this episode. Especially since hers was the only spell that didn't wear off. How long was Twilight training for? If it was more than a few days poor Pinkie must have been starving. Also Trixie's sudden apology just felt wrong. I'm glad she did apologise, but it just doesn't seem like a Trixie thing to do. Though it might just be because I hate Twixie shipping.
I want more Zecora though! She's so cool!
Also, Twilight's tricks at the end genuinely had me going there.
Also, Twilight chastises Trixie for cheating by using an amulet, then goes and cheats herself by using deception. Kinda odd, really. Not that I'm complaining, it was still rather fun to watch. To be fair on Twilight she kinda had to cheat in order to get Trixie to remove the amulet.

O_O
Oh geez, I'm sorry you guys, I just kinda forgot about this.
I'm up for making another one though! Give me until this weekend.

Lyra managed to catch the thrown bonbon in her mouth, which she was awfully pleased about, as she usually dropped them when she tried that.
"Mmm, that's good." she said as she chewed the sugary treat. "Business seems slow today. You sure you don't want me to to drum up some interest with a song? Ooh! How about I go undercover, buys some sweets, then make some really loud yummy noises and say things like 'Oh wow! You guys have to try this!'? That'd work, right?"
(ooc: sorry for the very short post. I just wanted to write something down.)

A new blog, Ask Young Pinkamena. It's so cute it hurts.

Well, 10th place isn't bad, considering that I missed several areas and only posted once per thread I was in.
