  1. Welcome to Canterlot, mate! Enjoy your stay, and don't enter the Everfree...
  2. Manehattan would have to be Amber, then. North Star is terrified just going into Ponyville, let alone that far away Would I be correct in assuming you'd be using Lucky Chance?
  3. Neil Patrick Harris, or Jim Parsons. Just cause.
  4. So, as a few of you may know, I have an OC Mirage Riddle that's been around mane rp a little. He's kinda of hogging all of the action from my other two characters, sadly. That said, I really am anxious to try them out, so any takers? Here's a brief description of each: North Star - A Peryton who lives in the Everfree with his pet fox. For the most part, he's rather brave and kind... until he leaves the forest. Then you won't find a more paranoid deer around. Literally, you won't find one, any Peryton more nervous would be constantly hiding. Amber Flare - A real stand up Pegasus, and almost proud to a fault. Raised by dragons, she travels around Equestria trying to get a grasp on pony culture, which could lead to a few socially awkward situations. Also, as a sort of job, she sells some of the more common gems from her collection. Did I mention she can eat gems?
  5. Oh dear, hope I'm not too late for this, it really does sound like a brilliant idea. If its not to much trouble, I don't suppose you could make something for Mirage Riddle? Just something for him to hum, ideally it would be focused around mysteries, and have a nice odd feel to it. Hope I'm not imposing
  6. Riddle chuckled. Mythos certainly knew how to hold a good conversation, that much was apparent. "Aye, but if legends never exaggerated things, they wouldn't be quite so legendary. The truth can be a hard thing to face" Sighing a touch, he realized he would have to hook up to the wagon again. He was really starting to question the invention of the cursed thing, but he wasn't irritated enough to not pick up on Shimmer's comment. "Cheer up, Shimmer! Ponyville might be cozy, but adventure calls! Just think of all the fun getting there will be!" And just like that, Riddle had forgotten about the cart himself. As he finished, he struck a rather dramatic pose, with his hoof pointing heroically towards the horizon. With a little magical illusion, he even seemed to glow as the sunlight struck him. Shame he was pointing in the opposite direction from where they were going though... ...direction seemed to continue eluding him today.
  7. You know, personally I'm a touch disappointed that the credits didn't feature Ultron. I mean, he really is an awesome villain, perhaps even more threatening then Loki ever was. Kinda fanboying over this, but still, he would be the most epic thing ever for the second Avenger's movie.
  8. "Well, I suppose we're looking for anything that needs adventuring. Nothing in particular, but at the same time everything is an option. What kind of adventure is planned out, after all? No wait, don't answer that, why don't we just start and see?" As everypony seemed to want to move on, Riddle himself found he was getting quite anxious as well. Without much hesitation, he took a look around the nearby trees, gestured the others to follow him, and started walking deeper into the forest. Trying to catch up with Vacant, who was perhaps a few hops, a skip, and maybe a jump ahead of him, he again got the feeling of being watched a third time, but there was definitely no squirrel this time. Curiouser and curiouser... but he supposed if it was something bad it would have made itself known, so he continued ignoring it. Seriously though, it was beginning to be annoying, like an unsolvable riddle.
  9. Riddle whistled as Mythos explained the spell. Starswirl the bearded? That was a pony he could spend hours on (and has) only to draw mysteries from mysteries. How often does one get to learn something this fun? He almost felt as though he should give something in exchange... but he didn't really know any rare spells besides some rather flashy illusions. Oh well, it couldn't be helped, really. Besides, he was starting to wonder how one even managed to find such ellusive notes. Even lesser spells from Starswirl were in high demand last time he checked. "Canterlot noble, good manners, not at all uppity like most higher ups and you also have access to hard to find spells? One could say the plot thickens, could they not?"
  10. An all around nerd? My dear KC, I think you're going to fit in just fine around here. Just fine indeed... NOW! I GO!
  11. No trouble at all, mate! By app I mean my OC sheet, or character application, I suppose. I apologize if I didn't quite make that clear
  12. I must say, this is intriguing. If it isn't too much trouble, could I get you to draw Mirage Riddle? If details are needed, I could eagerly provide the information. App is in the sig-thingy.
  13. Riddle watched as Mythos suggested the spell, and secretly he hoped there would be some way to cut down the weight of things they had already packed, but it seemed as though you had to pack things into the enchanted boxes. Shame. He supposed he should probably help pack the boxes, but at the same time he was a touch curious. Lingering a bit by the door, he called out to Mythos "Actually, if it wouldn't be to much of a bother, I don't suppose you could tell me how that spell works. I may not be able to pull it off, but it would be fun to know. Especially with the amount of times I travel."
  14. Riddle was beginning to get tired already. He had correctly reasoned that using magic would be very helpful, but he had overextended himself. Why did nothing of late lie in range of his talents? Anyway, he welcomed the site of the other ponies joining up with them. The more the merrier, or in this case the faster the packing! Autumn even seemed to be doing much better, which was definitely good. Now all that left Riddle with was packing and his thoughts, as he levitated some more books into the cart. As Daisy spoke, Riddle smiled. He had already figured Mythos would join along, he seemed to get along fine with the group after all. Calling over to Mythos, he spoke "Well then, Mythos, Welcome to the group! Plenty of opportunity to carry on, so to speak!"
  15. Ohhh... right, that's where Riddle had heard the names. After giving a brief nod of thanks towards Vacant, he went back into thought. Funny how one forgets that kind of thing, really. Anyways, back to the matter at hoof. Or perhaps, a slight detour of what was at hoof. After asking a question, he figured that at least a generally how-do-you-do was usually given, and so he figured he'd at least pay attention to the couple if they responded. And besides, service seemed to be rather slow, so he needed something to pass the time with. Levitating his notebook out of his pouch, he began flipping through the pages as he waited. Perhaps he could solve one of the riddles he left for himself in the past. Now, to find a good one...
  16. Well, I suppose I said I'd tell you when Amber got passed, and she did! I figure she'd should make an interesting book or two
  17. Actually, I may have to take a rain check. I'm constantly paranoid of getting overextended rp wise, so I'm gonna have to play hookie here. Sorry!
  18. Hmmm... I have a character who might be interesting. Going by the name of Riddle Mirage, he fancies himself as an illusionist. Therefore, I could foresee a sort of rivalry, taking place as two different types of magic collide, perhaps in a flashy manner.
  19. Meanwhile (and speaking of the friends house) as the two ponies walked to Shimmer's cabin, Riddle saw began to see her cabin in the distance. As they began approaching, Riddle began growing discontent. He had promised to help with the packing, and he intended to, but there was certainly a reason he never carried much with him around Equestria. Mainly because he was never interested in the labor of packing and unpacking things over and over, but also to keep it light. And if Shimmer intended to pack most of her cabin, that certainly meant a lot of heavy duty packing, with some emphasis on the heavy. Wait. He was a unicorn, he could just levitate things! As long as he didn't lift them over any long distances, he should be fine! Speaking towards Shimmer, he spoke happily "So, where do you think we should begin with the packing? It is your stuff, after all." As he spoke, he gave an upbeat smile.
  20. Really, the guy was Thanos? I could have sworn it was a skrull, but I suppose Thanos makes more sense... Also, the scenes where the Avengers started pairing up might have been the most beautiful fight sequences I've seen in a action movie for a VERY long time.
  21. Brilliant, although I do have to call it a night Shame that it has to be before the conversations begun
  22. Oh. Hello there poster above this. Tis a very nice how-do-you-do that I offer.
  23. Ah but you see, all you need to do is cut a few corners Think of it as an octagon Instead of traversing the entire border, all you have to do is leap straight across
  24. I have made my reprise, and I am back. Where was I you might ask? .... The restaurant at the edge of the universe
  25. "Oh dear, are you really bringing all the heavy things? Such a shame that others pack light well you get the burden. It might not be worth much, but I'll carry what I can. After all, I don't have much anyway" After speaking, Riddle strode a bit more confidently, before his thoughts returned to Mythos (a potential mystery always lurked on the edge of his thoughts). "Say, do you have any thoughts on this Mythos character? Quite the interesting fellow, really."
