this one is only loosely related - having a wrold where idoits don't reak out about having a pony called 'depry so her name gets changed back to 'ditzy' even though that mean the SAME. DAMN. THING ! seeing as that ones no really fair, I gotta go for Beryr punch being a bit of a drunk. Which has been done before in kids tv, like Uncle Waldo in The Aristocats !

Ok, so i know that if you want to have a lreationship or know a canon character you need permission from the person with that pony, but what about ponies that know the character distanly ? E.g a colt visited ponyville, saw, let's say Rarity, and got a crush on her wihtout having spoken to her, them left ponyville ? So they will think about the beautiful unicorn they saw in Ponyville, but did not have any kind of active relationship with that pony ? They don't even need to know about your ponies' existance. DO you still need permission ? I'm fine with asking if i ever need to, but i'm just wondering seeing as the pony in question could live out their lives without knowing your pony. Basically what i'm saying is, if your OC would want to be friends with Rairity i understand how you'd need to ask permission, so they wouldn't say anything to majorly contradict the History say pony A met Rarity in Trottingham but then Rairity said she'd never been there, etc. I might never even need this information, but just in case i add a detail without thinking !

I might not be the best person to ask, because i am quite a big fan of Dr.Suess, and depending on how much you are a fangirl you are, if you don't really mind adaptations then that's fine but if you're a bit of a purist ( like me ) then i wouldn't If you really want to see it i'd wait to rent it, its not really worth ticket price or purchase.

well the source material can be - and films can HAVE anti-corperate messages yet this film was made by UNIVERSAL ! This is part of the reson why Dr.Seuss has been botched to heavily by this stuff, alot of his book are against all this marketing stuff ( all the once-ler shennanagins) and yet they market the HELL out of this stuff ! - especially enjoying the "lorax approved" car advert that proceeedthe film yet in the 'how bad can i be' song they had the 'lorax approved' seal when it wasn't.

I've done a bit of animation myself, having spend a fairly unsucessful year in art collage ( very traditional art school that has no idea that annomout or work animaltion takes ! ) So i know how it can be addicting to keep working on animated projects, so how about you set aside time for each hobby ? You will get through your animated projects slower, but will be able to keep up with your other hobbies. I'm assuming you're still going 9 - 3:30 at school ( or at least those where my school hours) so maybe you spend a few afternoons doing music, and your toher hobbies while keeping a weekend day for animation ?

more power to you ! i have a friend who's 4'11"and we tease her a little bit, but not too much or too nastily. basically when we play-fight or more play-***** i'll say something like " what ya gonna do ? jump up and bite my anckles ?" she'll usually just punch me in the arm and tell me she could get trapped in my hair ( which is very curly and rarely obeys me ) -
How about she changes herself, but then goes back to her parents dressed as a nerd, somehow her friends find out she's a massive nerd but they still like her ? Like they like her for as a person, being nice / funny / smart and don't mind that she likes diffrent things ? The only reason they are friends with her NOW as opposed to them is when she 'changed' herself she put alot more effort into meeting people and became more confident ? Making the moral a bit more 'you need to have confidence and yourself and make an effort to have friends, good friends don't just plop in your lap, and sometimes you need to push yourself forward and TALK to people to have them ?

i'm with the nostalgia chick too, to me the string of animated relises from dr.seuss ( the grinch, the lorax, sam i am, etc) where PERFECT ! they showed what they needed to perfectly and told the story how it was meant to be told. I feel they add to much to these simple but perfect stories and i don't think alot of these elements are needed. It wouldn't bother me so badly, but i just don't think the directors had a lot of respect for the orignal sourse material, they spend like what 15 minutes on the actual plot and then just make up their own ? If you want to do that why bother with the Lorax at all ? just make you're own movie !

Hey ! so i live in a fairly crappy little flat and the people beneath me always blast their aweful club music from about 2 in the afternoon to half 11 at night, even though i have asked them politely MANY TIMES to please turn their music down. How do i get back at them ? I pick out a pony tune and blast my music back. "Smile, Smile,Smile" from 'a friend in deed' has been my recent favorate. i know that fighting fire with fire is wrong, but what about fighting fire with ponies ?

don't know if you're still thinking about things, you seem to have it worked out as a lightbulb but i figure my 2 cents can be ignored is nessisary, anyway, hwn i think of the word Eureka i think of Archimedes. If you don't know (which i'm sure you do but heres some backstory just in case) he was a Greek scholor who was hired to find out if the king's crown was made of pure gold or if it had other metas in it making it less valuable. Anyway Archimedes discovered how to mesure this (without pulling the crown apart) by stepping into a full bath or water and having it flow out - the whole water displacement thing, then he cried out "Eureka" and went and sorted out the king by the estimated weight of how much a pure gold crown would displce water. So - long story short - maybe some water and a crown ?

i love season 2 ! I think my favorate episode is 'Hearts and Hooves' just because of the humour/ facial expessions in it ! i also love "family apprecial day" And "read it and weep" ! "Sweet and Elite" and "Sister hooves scoial" are pretty high up too ! -

How I became a fan of MLP:FiM: found a toy review by accident, was intrigued by the ponies now look, began to watch and fell in love ! Now a hardcore Pega-sister and proud ! My favourite main cast pony/s: AppleJack,Rainbow Dash,Pinkamina Diane Pie I also love DerpyHooves, Doctor Hooves, Princess Luna and all oc the CMC ( especially Scootaloo ) I love MLP:FIM ! I remember watching ( and quickly HATING ) the proceeding two or three seasons - the ones where the ponies biggest problem was what colour to ice the cake, until they realised they could just ice a rainbow cake OMGWTFBRILLIANT ! - riveting stuff right ? . . yeah didn't think to either. Or even the season after that that got WORSE ! which was just about 15 minute episodes and they were really nothing more than long advert for new stuff that was gonna come out, i swear they might as well have just had a price tag flash up at the bottom whenever they did something ! All hail Lauren Faust ! Saviour of ponies !
