Dragons are magic and can hybridize with almost anything. Dragons and humans are a common thing. Depending on the culture qilin or kirin can be draco equine or draco feline in nature.

If we get a new villain, I want something thats a threat because its a genius. Like a genius diamond dog technomagic engineer based on Urza. He should have an army of techno monsters and primitive war machines. We ve seen what rainbow would be like without friends. He should be how twi would be if she was bitter and alone. Cold, calculating, efficient, and ruthless. If he should handle the mane six by creating puzzles where the answers are either so plain that on would never figure it out or breaks the laws traditional laws of physics to the point of absudity.

Hmm. I wonder what they have planned this MLP seasons always start strong and end strong... Finale will have the Celestia and Luna duet *wishful thinking.*

I wondered about that as well, perhaps it has something to do with how Spike saw himself as a knight back in dog and pony show. That's what I'd like to think, perhaps he and Twilight talked about this and combined with natural dragon traits...im going to stop because I can't justify it. It actually would've made more sense if Twilight was clueless when AJ mentioned it. This was my biggest issue with the episode. Dat herd mentality. Twilight may be OP, but she's still a pony and ponies are prey species. I kinda thought that was funny.

I don't mind little ridiculous episodes like this. The only problem I really had was how clumsy spike was. Other than that Rainbow Dash was hilarious, so was Rarity, and AJ. It's nice to see them try something new even if it didn't work. Would have been stronger without the ham fisted spike humor actually, Spike is funny an witty on his own, he didn't need to be a clutz for this episode. I feel that If spike had kept his regular competence and Applejack had started to become complacent having spike do to much for her then trying to rectify the situation etc... it could have been a lo better.

He felt guilty, not because he abandoned his people, they were no longer his people and Chrysalis was no longer his queen, but because he couldn't help them. No one deserves total annihilation. He sat at his desk in the newly rebuilt Guard Base of Equinia and clopped his front perforated hooves together. His jagged black metal armor rattled as the plates slid across each other the there was a dull clank as his sword struck his armored withers. Not too long ago he swallowed his apprehension and wrote up a simple letter, a request to meet with Doppleganger in his office and sent it off with his pet Haxorus. Soon his messenger hawk would find Doppleganger and deliver his letter the general.

Sweet Taffy exiting Diamond Halls ~ Royal Gardens The time approaches. She thought. The mare bid her company a respectful goodbye and trotted off. There was barely an hour left before the Princess's coronation, but before that she was suppose to receive a dead drop with updated instructions. The parcel would be hidden near the Royal Garden. Sweet Taffy cursed the idea of going there, but she understood the reasoning behind it's hiding place. The chances of her coming across one of the Royalty's Nightengale's increased with each step she took away from the mainstay of the festivities. As expected guards roamed about everywhere, but her talents made it pretty easy to avoid any other pony on her way to the dead drop location. The royal gardens was a place that Sweet Taffy quickly began to dislike. From the warmth, humidity, and flora of the scene she could tell that its goal was the emulation of some sort of rainforest. Critters scurried away from her and ducked into the trees and shrubbery. They where overcome with fear, not the sort of fear that an animal has for the unknown, that fear is seeped in a healthy dose of curiosity. No, what they felt was a dread match only by being faced with one's imminent demise. Most ponies didn't feel it when they were around the mare, but the sense of an animal were toned to such subtle things. Sweet Taffy's aura exuded death. Her graceful stride, both flowing and mechanical, wasted no energy. Her vibrant eyes, both warm and welcoming and calculating and scanning, saw every detail in her surroundings. This was her work look. She approach the drop point, and it was exactly how her contact had described it: A single large tree surrounded by a grove of smaller trees with relatively flat ground and several exotic forest plants and fungi. Had this visit been for something else, she would have found the area beautiful. Great mushrooms overtook large dead stumps, and carnivorous plants trapped insects and small amphibians. Sweet Taffy took in a breath, tasting the air around her. The circle of death was a beautiful thing. She walked around the base of the largest tree until she came upon a saddle bag. Laying on her belly, she reached out and took it in her hooves. The package contained, among other things: her alternative clothing for when she changed back, the money needed to take a transport to anywhere in the empire, plus the appropriate paper work to cover any issues that may pop up for the mare. She unfolded the small note and read it's contents, smiling all the while. She looked up at the false sky and tossed the saddle bag across her back. It was about time for her to prepare for the princes coronation.

Not quite random, but I agree. But thats just me, I dont truly believe in random. Off topic: id really like it if they did something to canonize how ponies age. If they mature at the same rate as real poines or if its closer to humans. In my head canon foals are born with stronger bodies than human kids but still age at about the same rate. Then somehow my mind looks to spike...and thats were the confusion starts.

Geez the apple family has a the best Mare/Stallion ratio ive seen in three seasons and its still terrible. I swear if we werent aware that pound cake was born, I'd think Celestia grew just enough little colts in her lab to make sure that the pony race survives.

Hello Canterlot, Eclipse here. I've created this thread to give us authors somewhere to brain dumb and organize projects with our fellow bronies and pegasisters. The point of this thread is for anyone interested to drop in and post their idea's for collab projects and fish around for people who are interested in helping in some way. Think of this place as a vault for collab story ideas and a roster of people willing to help. Now what is collab? Well simply put, it's jolly collaboration! Collab is no more than working together with others. It doesn't matter what you have. You have a story that needs prereaders and editors? Post it here. You have a big project that you want to expand by having others write stories in your universe? Post it here Got an idea/story lore you need help sorting out? At the very least I will try and help, but hopefully there will be many participants in this thread. If enough people show up, who knows. I might make a group for us on FiMFiction. Since this is my thread I guess I'll start with an Idea that has been on my mind for almost a year. I've I've thought about creating a huge series of stories about the Mane 6 and maybe a few random mares from around Equestria. The series would be an alternate future imagining about what if Discord defeated the elements and exiled them to the corners of the earth, imprisoned Celestia and Luna, and took over. I call the Idea the Queens series. Because a recurring theme of the stories was going to be that the protagonist(s) would have come into some sort of power that they could use to help defeat discord. In essence they would become a "Queen/master" of something. Stories about how the average citizens dealt with what happened are also important. I even had planned for every epilogue to occur about several years after Discord's take over, that way collab would be easy to organize. As an example I'm just going to brainstorm the premise of one of the stories...Ok since the idea of the stories is a simple formula Rarity Exiled to the Frozen North Stumbles upon ancient ruins Ruins prove to be the tomb/prison of a majority of Dragon-kin Rarity accidently awakens the slumbering beasts They aren't murderous, bloodthristy monsters and appriciate Rarity helping them. The help Rarity survive in the Frozen North and Rarity helps them rebuild and revitalize their capitol city. Something happens and Rarity is instramental in solving it by using her Element of Generousity. What she does with her element changes her and makes her more powerful She's crowned Queen of Wyrms and now has Dragon magic a legion of Wyrm-Kin at her beck and call for the fight against Discord. She contacts the other elements. End story until the big epilogue. Similar to Ponyfall there is a formula for the mane 6 as said, but other than the bare minimum it can be whatever, and stories about Discord and the ponies living in Equestria during his rule are fine, and dont need to use the formula at all! That's the gist of the idea that was running through my mind. Who else has something interesting to toss out into the idea pool?
