  1. Thanks~! x3 Thank you! I was a little iffy about the anatomy, so I'm glad you think it looks good~
  2. From the album: Arts

The beginning of a bigger picture I'm doing. The rainbow border was just for fun. I tried a new kind of shading, and the anthro-ness is kinda new too. (:

  4. Awesome design~ Really cute!
  5. Attached ((because I was too lazy to upload it to Photobucket)) is the beginning of my next picture, which is actually going to have a background and is for my next fanfic. How does Pinkie/Vinyl Scratch sound? Anyway, this is just the center piece of Pinkie that's gonna have a background, like I said. I tried a new shading style. I think it turned out okay.
  6. ((OOC: Okay, Chapien is going to jump in before my next post, just to get his character set up. (: Will will be in Manehatten on the next post, so you'll probably want to just speed up the travel a little. Things'll be kind of awkward until we're all in Manehatten.)) - Willow laughed slightly nervously at The Equestioner's display; he was satisfied that the two wouldn't be badly hurt, and so decided it was time to get going. "Well, I guess I'll see you gentlemen soon. I'm not sure how long it'll take for me to get to Manehatten and back, but it shouldn't be too long." He hop-skipped a few steps, then raised his wings and jumped into the air, hovering above the others for a moment. "Be safe, and have a good time!" At this, he flew off quickly, definitely not wanting to waste too much time in the air. His saddlebags and armor weighed him down a little, but it wasn't really enough to effect his time; he would be flying relatively slowly anyway, trying to conserve energy for the task ahead. Having never been to Manehatten before, Will wasn't really sure what to expect. He had been to some big cities and wasn't sure where Manehatten rested on that list, but he was fairly certain it wasn't near the bottom, and, in that case, he probably wouldn't miss it. The road to Manehatten was nicely visible as well, so unless something completely unforeseen happened, the trip to the city should be smooth and worry-free.
  7. - Willow nodded as his face became quite serious. Though he was fairly sure nothing was going to be to terribly dangerous on the way to Manehatten, he couldn't be completely certain, and he would feel awful if something happened to these two while he was flying away. He swallowed and bit his lip before turning once again to the other ponies. "Do either of you have any...combat experience? I honestly don't think anything will happen, but I just want to make sure. Or..." He twisted to face Equestioner, staring pointedly at his horn. "Are you proficient at magic? That should keep you safe, and would make me feel a lot better about leaving you all by yourself." A polite smile spread over his face; he hoped that the two didn't think he was treating them like foals out for a walk with their mother. He simply didn't want to be responsible for injuries to two ponies he barely knew.
  8. - Will smiled slightly as the two ponies approached him once again, this time laden with all the supplies he would need. He turned first to The Equestioner, now ready to answer the question he had shot out before. "Well, I was thinking of flying ahead to Manehatten to see if anyone wants to join up with us. Then I could fly back to you, just so that, if we pick up anyone in Manehatten, they have time to get ready to leave and whatnot." Rustling his wings a little impatiently, Willow stood and trotted in the direction of the road. "Would that be okay with you two? I don't want to have you wandering alone, but it really would be more convenient if I went on ahead." He looked back at the other two, a question in his eyes. "Besides, the real quest won't start until we reach the Everfree forest, and I'm sure you'll be able to handle yourselves until then."
  9. Huh? Hmm... I thought you were talking about him flying, so I assumed he was a pegasus. Sorry about that. Ignore any errors, It happens to the best of us. And I wasn't describing Swift's eyes, I was describing Willow's. I fixed the errors, so it should be better now.
  10. ((OOC: Sorry about that. e3e I missed that when I read the app...)) - Willow barely looked as he caught the book in he teeth, placing it carefully in his left saddlebag, the one not reserved for food. At least these two seemed resourceful, and that was quite good. He did raise an eyebrow again, however, as the second pony, who Will now saw was a unicorn, talked about 'getting his bags'. "I hope you just mean some simple saddlebags. We're going to have to travel rather fast to get to Manehatten quickly. I hope you two are in shape." Casting his eyes back to the first pony, Prime Meridian, Will spoke once again. "If you'd like to get some bags or something, I would suggest doing it now, so we can get going as soon as possible. I only have room for food for one, so bringing some for yourself would probably be a good idea." He turned away again and began walking towards the edge of town. "I'll be waiting for you, but please try to be quick..." Willow felt a little bad about being so distant, but he still wasn't quite sure how to feel about having new ponies join up with him. Maybe he would look for another strong pegasus in Manehatten, just to keep everyone safe...
  11. Willow remained in his state of detachment until he saw the lead pegasus mare begin to descend. He circled once or twice before coming in to land himself, touching down a little harder than usual and kicking up a cloud of dust as he watched the little crowd of ponies that had gathered began to disperse. His brow wrinkled slightly as he gazed at the approaching stallion, a slight gleam in his eye. He wondered who exactly he thought he was to scare away all the other volunteers; if they were going to be dealing with a Manticore, they needed all the help they could get. A slight nod in Candy’s direction indicated that Will was listening, but his attention stayed fixed on the new arrival. Adjusting one shin guard, he lifted his head, causing a faint reflection of the engravings to dance across the ground by his feet. Something about the approaching pony made him slightly uneasy, and he hardly noticed as the other pegasi he had been flying with landed near him. He waited for the stranger’s answer as Candy spoke, quite interested to hear the stallion’s story.
  12. Umm...by walking? There's a map attached to the first post of this thread that outlines the basic journey.
  13. - Will raised his eyebrows slightly as yet another pony approached him and questions were fired at him from all sides. His eyes flicked from one pony to the other, debating who to address first. Settling on the first pony to talk to him, he let his eyes rest there. "You're guess would be correct. It is a plant. A...willow tree." He looked to the other, another brown Earth pony. "Pleased to meet you...and you did hear a questing...many, in fact. I suppose you may join the conversation... But yes, I'm looking for a willow tree in the Everfree forest. There's really not much more to it than that..." He finished his apple, core and all, and took a few deep breaths of the clear, almost sweet Ponyville air. Though glad that he had gotten his shopping finished with, the matter rested on his mind of what exactly these ponies wanted. His wings rustled impatiently as he sighed, then spoke again. "Well, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to excuse myself, gentlemen. I really want to get to Manehatten as soon as possible... Unless..." Will took one more deep breath and almost rolled his eyes. "Unless you'd like to accompany me for awhile. It's always better to have companions on the road." Will knew this to be true, as he had traveled a lot in his life, but he was a little unsure of what exactly these ponies would be useful for. They didn't seem to be fighters, and, being Earth ponies, they would slow his travel by quite awhile. Even so, they were better than being cornered by some rabid beast on his own. Willow turned to go, looking back to see how the other two would answer. "I'm Will, by the way. Willow Wing."
  14. Of course you're welcome~ Just keep in mind that we'll be leaving Ponyville as quickly as possible so that we can pick up some more characters and get eh main story going. So don't be surprised if I really speed things along.
  15. - Willow tilted his head slightly as he looked back to see who was talking. He smiled shyly at the brown Earth pony behind him and turned around to face him. Though he would normally consider the question slightly rude, Will accepted this as another curious Ponyville resident and took no offense. "Well, I'm making a stop here before I conttinue to Manehatten, then to the Everfree forest to...look for something." It had never occured to Will that somepony might want to join him in his quest; not that he thought that's what this pony wanted. He wasn't quite sure how he would handle an event like that, considering that this was a rather personal venture... Of course, the Everfree forest wasn't exactly the friendliest of places, so maybe having a few companions along for the trip would be a good idea. "Why do you ask?" Will tilted his head once again, the noonday sun glinting off his polished armor.
  16. (( OOC Thread; post here to join!)) - Willow Wing took a deep breath of morning air as he hoisted on his saddlebags and buckled them on tightly to begin his journey. He was finally going to begin his trek to the Everfree forest in search of the tree that was so dear to his mother and father. The thought of finally getting closer to revealing more about his mother, who had been absent from his life as long as he could remember, put a spring in his step as he bounced down his front steps and leapt into the dewy morning sky. Flying, he knew he would reach Ponyville in only a few hours, where he would make his first stop; Manehatten was after that, and then it was out into the unexplored far reaches of the Everfree forest. As he had expected, he arrived at Ponyville before noon that same day. He received a few admiring glances and a few questions as he landed in the middle of the small town; not many ponies there had even seen armor like Will’s, and were quite curious. He answered as many of the questions as he could, going slightly pink around the ears at all the attention. Before long, however, the little crowd began to dissipate, and he had the chance to look around. Will had never been in Ponyville before, and didn’t really know his way around. There seemed to be a small market near him, so he made a beeline for it and stopped at the first stand he came to, which happened to be a stall for the nearby apple orchard. A small smile spread over his face as he bought a few apples and began to much on one, stowing the other away in his saddlebags as he walked along the other booths looking for any supplies he might need for the upcoming journey.
  17. Well, all of them. 'Cause you have a good voice.
  18. Ugg... This is awesome. I wish I could sing! I can't act, but singing is definitely not my thing... I'm good with electronic music as well, but I don't have any good programs for it...I guess the only thing I'm really good at is playing flute. When it comes to music, at least.
  19. *This post submitted for judging* Hallowed Night stuck her tongue out and flailed around in excitement as she entered the huge, airy stadium. The crowd’s cheers shook her through to her core as a surge of adrenaline coursed like liquid metal through her veins; if simply standing in the stadium was this exhilarating, Hallow decided she just had to compete in whatever was being attempted in the middle of the large dirt circle. Triumphant songs rang through Hallow’s head as she galloped at full speed onto the field, just as a particularly viscous wad of mud came flying in her direction. She dodged nimbly and slid to a stop just in time to watch a mud-splattered pony slink out of the pit that had broken the competitor’s fall. It suddenly dawned on her, as she saw the mud-caked rope being pulled out of the pit that this must the tug-of-war competition. “Oh oh oh, me! Meee, Hallow! I’m next!” A huge grin spread over her features as she began to jump up and down on the edge of the crater. She was standing across from her contenders, three Earth pony stallions, who all raised their eyebrows at her neon-splotched coat and strange outfit. “Umm… Are you sure, little lady? You might get your…uhh…thing dirty.” One of the stallions motioned to Hallow’s cape and snickered. Hallow just kept her smile on her face, as if her sharp, shinning teeth alone could win the competition for her. “Of course I’m sure! I wouldn’t have volunteered otherwise, duh, silly.” A giggle escaped her lips and she raised a hoof to her mouth, using the sharp tip to pop her fake teeth out. She stowed them in a pocket on the underside of her cape and patted the outside of the fabric. “Can’t hold a rope with those things, huh boys?” She looked up at the blue pegasus, determination written all over her face. “Lay it on me, sister!” The crowd cheered as she clamped down on the rope and adopted a wide stance, the better keep herself balanced and dig into the dirt ground. The three stallions stared, dumbstruck, at the mare as they took the rope into their mouths. It wasn’t everyday you saw a splattered neon orange and white pony with a Nightmare Night-esque cape and fake teeth…especially not at an Iron Pony competition. The pegasus acting as referee raised her hoof into the air; Hallow readied herself to pull with all her might at the blue pony shouted. “Ready…go!” A grim look of resolve flickered onto Hallow’s face as she yanked back with all her might, determined to last as long as she possibly could against the three stallions. Suddenly, a sharp pain slapped her across the face and caused her to topple around. Her hoof hit a slippery patch of ground and…splat! The bitter taste of mud filled her mouth as the mud-pit rushed up to meet eyes. Sitting up as quickly as she could, she rubbed mud away from her light grey eyes and cast them up to the referee, who was laughing uncontrollably. “Hey! What gives?!” Hallow touched her face and winced; there was a large welt on the front of her snout. “You…hahaha! You must’ve stunned those guys into submission with your teeth! They weren’t ready when you pulled, and the rope came back and whacked you! Oh Celestia, that was magic…” The pegasus collapsed into another fit of giggles and drifted down to earth, clutching her stomach as she rolled around in hysterics. Hallow looked around at the crowd; they were all laughing too, and she grinned slowly once again, suddenly thrilled that she had made so many ponies happy. The competition didn’t really seem to matter anymore as she looked back into those smiling faces and waved. Her eyes flicked over to the three stallions as she retrieved her teeth and popped them back into place. “See ya around, boys!” She cackled to herself and trotted off the field; while most ponies would be going to clean off, Hallow vowed she would keep the mud for at least the rest of the day, as a memento to the wonderful feeling of accomplishment welling up in her chest.
  20. Well...I dunno. Should I use it more? I guess I just don't think about it. I put the stuff I really like up there...
