  1. Hey, and once (or if) we manage to prevent ACTA from doing too much damage, there's another secret law in the making ! http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2011/03/son-of-acta-meet-the-next-secret-copyright-treaty.ars I'll try and find more sources about it later.
  2. For those who want, online petitions : https://secure.avaaz.org/en/eu_save_the_internet/ https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions#!/petition/end-acta-and-protect-our-right-privacy-internet/MwfSVNBK
  3. I haven't seen it. But now I want to !
  4. Tintin ! My grandfather have all the comics ! We have a few of them around at home too. I used to read those when I was a little kid ; it's one of the series I want to buy once I get my own house. Lots of childhood memories. Heh, in fact I want to read them once again now. It's a really pretty comic series.
  5. Hiiii ! Welcome here ! And don't worry about your introduction ! You didn't do anything wrong

    Oh hay.

Hiiii ! Welcome to the forums !
  10. So, I've had huge troubles writing anything down these past weeks, and unfortunately, it seems very likely to continue. I apologize to every single person that had to wait because of me ; I will try to reply everywhere soon and wrap up the threads I can close. But do not expect any replies for me : it seems I just can't write anymore. I apologize once again !
  11. No, not really. I mean, if they ever became so mad as to try to harm another pony, I think they'd use magic, or trample them, or something. Unicorn horns looks very impractical for stabbing, and I think it wouldn't come to an unicorn's mind to use it as a weapon.
  12. Yes I would. But everyone around me already assume I am some kind of eccentric, which means I can behave in eccentric ways without any problems. And if anyone have a problem with it and tries to mock me or something, I tend to ramble excitedly about how awesome the show is. Oddly enough it's usually enough to scare people away. So I guess you could, it just depends on your attitude and if you care about what people think about you (there's no harm in that!). And the place you live in apparently, too.
  13. Hiiii ! Welcome ! I hope you'll have fun here !
  14. Hiiii ! I love your drawings ! Welcome to the Canterlot forums !
  15. Hiiii ! Welcome to Canterlot !
  16. The stories your grandparents tell you are the most awesomest stories ever ! It's great that yours shared them so freely. Mine don't talk as much about their lives, and I can only gather little bits of it here and there during holidays and family reunions.
  17. T as in Tank, Tortoise, Turtle ! W as in Wendigo, Wyndigo, how do you spell that ? And it's too bad for the pony names though. V for Vinyl Scratch would have been awesome !
  18. On top of my head : B as in Buffaloes ? C as in Celestia ? Canterlot ? E as in Earth Pony ? U as in Unicorn ? I'll give you more as soon as I find more ! Will you draw a pony alphabet ?
  19. Nope. I don't see a pony named "Ancre" getting the moderators' approval too ! Ancre is my default username when I log on a forum.
  20. Moondrop nervously passed a hoof in her mane, trying to reassure herself. Everything was going to be fine. She had managed to bring her guests into the living room, and to make them sit, and to serve them tea, and they were ready to talk about business now. She hadn't been prepared for all this, sure, but no major incident had happened so far, none of her guests seemed to have noticed the state of her house, or her nervousness, it seemed, and everything was going well, she told herself, everything was going to be fine. Nothing to worry about ! Nope ! Nothing at all ! Then the poor pony watched the dragon drink his tea. The cup was ridiculously small in comparison to his size : he was holding it with the tip of two of his claws. He contemplated the cup dreamingly, then proceeded to lift it to his mouth and drink the drop of tea that fell from it with an absolutely serious pose, then contemplated the cup once again, looking ... well, looking hungry. Moondrop felt her cheeks burn in embarrassment, her assurance crumbling as she watched Patches drink : what she had served was obviously not appropriate for a big dragon ! She had to do something ! But what could she do ? Her mind raced. She had no dragon-sized teacups and tea sets, and she was sure dragons didn't normally drink tea anyways. Come to think of it, the biscuits she had wouldn't do either : they were much too small for Patches, and she knew he didn't ate biscuits anyways. Moondrop had read somewhere that dragons ate gemstones, but she had none of them in her house, so she couldn't serve that. What could she do, what could she do ? Her normally tidy mane started to frazzle under the nervousness as she desperately kept on searching for a solution. Under pressure for just a little too long, the white unicorn started to giggle nervously. Her usual smile faltered, but remained in place, in some sort of twisted caricature of itself. She tried to comb back her hair with one hoof, but they instantly came back to their disheveled state. Her magic grip on her tea cup seemed to shiver slightly, making the teacup clatter against its plate. Her giggle kept on for a few seconds, then died quietly, leaving an uneasy silence in its place. She couldn't take it anymore. " ... I'm going to make some more tea. I'll be right back !" Moondrop finally announced, breaking the silence, and she fled, retreating in the safety of her kitchen. She walked out of the living room as fast as she could, entered her kitchen, then slammed the door shut and let herself slide against it. She then opened her mouth and let go of all her distress in the form of a high-pitched, almost inaudible squeal of terror. Moondrop was clearly panicking. Nothing was going fine ! What had she just done ? What was she going to do ? It took the unicorn a moment to calm down. The kitchen was in a mess : dirty dishes laid in a pile in the sink, the counters and the tables were covered with food and tools that had to be cleaned away, and all around Moondrop laid the broken remains of a tea set that had crashed against the door in a panicked magic attempt earlier. Taking a deep breath, the unicorn decided to clean the place a little and focus on something that wouldn't stress her out too much. She would have to go back in the living room eventually, but she had a few minutes to herself, and she hoped it would be enough time to calm her down. Moondrop pushed away the mess to make place for a gigantic pot, that she filled with water and set to boil. If she was to feed a dragon, she would certainly have to make tea in very large quantities. She then rummaged the shelves in search of a tea-pot, or a jug, or anything large that vaguely looked like a tea-cup for Patches. She had no dragon-sized biscuits to give him, but she hoped her stocks would suffice, even if they probably looked like mere crumbles for a dragon. In the end, as she had no more tasks to do, she walked back in the living room, holding the jug for Patches and a large tray of biscuits with her magic. "He he ... sorry for that." Moondrop muttered, feeling slightly embarrassed about her behavior. She laid the tray of biscuits on the table ; then she emptied the tea-pot in the jug and carefully gave it to Patches before sitting back in her place. The white pony took her tea cup and tried to regain her composure, smiling again as if nothing happened. Everything was going to be fine. Besides, they both have been very nice to her, and patient, and also polite, until now. She had nothing to worry about. She could do it. "All the toys I sell are hoof-made." She started awkwardly, not exactly knowing what she was supposed to say. "Well, I use my magic too, I mean, I'm a unicorn, but you already know that," she added with an uneasy laugh ; "Most of the toys I sell are simply pony figurines, they're made out of wood and they're hoof-made, as I sculpt them myself, and I already told you that, and I suppose you want to buy them since that's what you said to me !" she rushed, talking faster and faster. Moondrop was making a fool of herself. "And I mean, I have other toys too ! I love toys ! I mean, um ..." "Um, well ..." Moondrop finally shut up, and took a large sip of her cold tea, trying to hide her embarrassment. Today was going to be a long day ...
  21. Well, I'll just go to sleep then. Goodnight everypony !
