I think I'm in fault for shutting Star's Ask Thread for mentioning the "Hero's New Clothes".

Nobody was at "fault." Large, older threads are difficult to moderate, which is important in order to keep Canterlot all-ages. On top of this, they can slow down certain features of the site, and put unnecessary strain on the database with content that would do better in, say, a chat room. I know you're all upset by recent events, but we are doing our best to be fair in regard to threads that need to be retired due to length, content, or both.
