The thing with the Changlings is that well............. they're essentially the Tolkien-class Orcs of the Pony World. Despite their status as apparently sentient beings, these pony bugs never bothered to find a way to nourish themselves on love while peacefully coexisting with ponykind. In that sense, the Changlings can be considered "evil"... or at least their Queen can be. As for Discord, he's pretty much a sadist through-and-through. It's not enough for him to simply screw with the laws of harmony and physics. No, he goes out of his way to utterly break the Mane 6 and their friendship even though he could have very easily disposed of the Elements of Harmony and thus safeguard his right to exist.

As what was asked of Spin Tale essentially amounted to storytelling, the stallion was more eager to oblige Heart Healer’s latest inquiries. [colour=#ff6666]“Ah, of course,”[/colour] the curator started while finally taking his seat. [colour=#ff6666]“I’m the president and curator-in-chief of the Canterlot Army Historical Society. We have a small, non-profit museum that I manage just several blocks away from where the city garrison’s based. Through the museum and the Society’s quarterly publication, I aim to educate ponies about how it’s really like to serve in the REA throughout dozens of generations.[/colour] Now getting into his life narrative, Dr. Tale continued speaking. [colour=#ff6666]“As for my youth, I’d say that I had a good foalhood. I was born, raised, and went to elementary school right here in Canterlot. My father was a service-pony and my mother stayed at home, raising me. One day, my dad got crippled luring a wayward monster back into the Everfree Forest. I wanted to tell my classmates all about that exciting tale, and when I did,”[/colour] Spin Tale chuckled; [colour=#ff6666]“Well, I found I really enjoyed telling stories, and that’s how I got my cutie mark you see here.”[/colour] The stallion pointed to his cutie mark, a book with an image of a sword on the cover, for emphasis.

An empath? Spin Tale wasn’t quite expecting Heart Healer to have the ability to actually read emotions. For a brief moment, Dr. Tale pondered whether to give the psychologist access to his innermost feelings. After a couple of seconds though, the curator came to the conclusion that this was probably why his acquaintances recommended her in the first place. Therefore, he decided that he really had no reason to deny Ms. Healer’s request. [colour=#ff6666]“Uhh, yep I give you permission,”[/colour] Spin replied; [colour=#ff6666]“To be rather honest, I’ve never sought therapy or anything like this ever before, so I’m not quite sure where to begin.”[/colour]

I bring ill news: Issue #1's release has been delayed to the 28th of November.

[colour=#008080]“Ah yes, I uhh did actually,”[/colour] responded Counselor Marie as she sat back down on her chair. Ingrid didn’t want to admit it, but the professor’s crash-in really threw her off. A more cautious counselor would by now have suggested rescheduling the rest of the meeting for a later time, but Ingrid wasn’t one of those counselors. As long as Fire Heart trotted out of her room confident in her ability to eventually manage her fires, the session would be a success. [colour=#008080]“So as I was saying before our uhhh interruption, ahem,”[/colour] continued the counselor; [colour=#008080]“I want you to speak about your past experiences being bullied and how you felt back then, as well as the day you first used flame magic. I’ll understand if this makes you feel ill at ease, mmkay, but I feel that an important key towards you achieving total pyrokinetic mastery lies in your past. So….. do you feel comfortable enough to begin?”[/colour]

I haven't dealed with any actual haters yet, but there was one IM buddy of mine who refused to watch MLP clips because he didn't want to view anything that smacked of children's animation. Eventually however, he confessed that he could relate to Twlight Sparkle.

*Time-skip* Hearing from the receptionist that it was his turn, Spin Tale made his way over to Heart Healer's office. He still wasn't sure if it was worth his valuable time being here today; afterall, none of his problems affected his curator performance in any way. For the time being though, Dr. Tale mustered the bravest face possible as he trotted into the counseling room, although a trained eye would still be able to pick up on his insecurities. Seeing the pink-colored unicorn who ran the clinic, Spin greeted; [colour=#ff6666]"Ummm, hello there Ms. Healer. How do you do?" [/colour]

I'M BAAAAACK!!!!!!!!! Yep, I have yet another request! This time I want vectors of two OCs of mine that I'll be using for a special RP project. Necessary details of the characters are below in spoiler boxes: PONY ON LEFT: PONY ON RIGHT: The pony on the left should be showing off some sort of priceless artifact with his left forehoof (it's up to you to decide what it is) and evilly gazing at the artifact. The pony on the right should be clutching his helmet with his forehoof (leaving the mane exposed) and glarring at the pony on the left. I won't mind having to wait forever for this particular request, LM.

I actually know at least two RP characters that are said to have graduated from Celestia's School. I suppose I can dig through the accepted apps section later tonight and see for myself what other current student characters are out there. The thing is, I don't want to spam RPers PM boxes with notices about School-based RP and such.

On most days, I be able to post sometime between 9AM and 1AM PST.

I RP the guidance counselor for Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, and unfortunately I know of only one RP character that is actually a student at the school. I'm dead serious; Canterlot has an embarrassing lack of magic students even though magic is supposedly all cool and junk. The school could also use some teachers too, while I'm at it. If anyone here is interested in doing any School-based RPs, let me know here and feel free to make character apps for magic students and/or teachers.

[colour=#008080]~Geez louise! I leave my office for one second and it’s already catching on fire!!!~[/colour] Madly rushing back into her office, Ingrid Marie made it in time to witness Fire Heart’s attempt at extinguishing the sofa fire. Thankfully due to Miss Heart’s efforts, there appeared to be no threat of the flames damaging anything other than the couch. Still, the counselor wisely decided to swiftly gather up all the papers she threw around a couple minutes ago, least a stray ember catch any of the papers on fire. By the time Ingrid finished, the filly succeeded in putting the fire out, leaving behind the stench of ash and a charred sofa. Professor Krashkop was going to get an earful for this….. For now though, Counselor Marie focused on salvaging her meeting with Fire Heart. True, another incident had occurred right on her watch, but controlling emotion-based magic was not usually easy for fillies anyway. Ingrid had to admit to Miss Heart’s credit that everything else in the office didn’t burn down… and that meant progress! Burying any outward expression of frustration, the counselor smiled and praised the young student; [colour=#008080]“Good, good. You clearly demonstrate the ability to limit damage caused by accidental triggering of your abilities. With plenty of tutoring and practice, you’ll one day achieve complete control over pyrokinesis.”[/colour] Ingrid figured that once Fire Heart felt reassured that she wasn’t in trouble or anything of that sort, the counseling session could recommence.

Yep… just as Counselor Marie predicted, Fire Heart’s ultimate source of her magic troubles most likely originated from the days when she had yet to recognize her potential. Summoning Miss Heart’s file with her magic, Ingrid began to telekinetically toss various papers around the room in search for a particular document. After emptying three-quarters of the file like so (and leaving quite the mess of papers), the counselor found what she was looking for; a report from the filly’s old school detailing her very first flare up. Unfortunately going by Ingrid’s swift read-through, the report failed to elaborate on what previous events led up to Miss Heart’s first magic incident. Sighing, Counselor Marie knew she would have to press the student further on her potentially-traumatic experiences to be absolutely certain of the accuracy of her guidance. [colour=#008080]“Alright, my little pony,”[/colour] Ingrid gently but sternly stated, not noticing the crashing noises and screams coming from the roof-top; [colour=#008080]“This may be hard for you to talk about, but I want you to…”[/colour] *CRASH!* Ingrid Marie jolted upon hearing something, or somepony, crash into a wall. Annoyed that she was disturbed right in the middle of discussing a serious subject matter, the counselor intended to ignore the offending sounds until she heard the familiar voice of an elderly pegasus talking to itself. [colour=#008080]“Clyde!!!?”[/colour] shouted the concerned yet impatient Ingrid as she galloped outside to see Professor Krashtop sitting on the waiting bench; [colour=#008080]“What’re you doing here? Are you hurt?”[/colour] The counselor wanted to get back to her meeting with Fire Heart as soon as possible, but it also wouldn’t do to leave one of her dearest mentors and close friends to deal with any potential injuries.

Processing all of Fire Heart’s information, it was extraordinarily obvious to Ingrid Marie that with all the contradictory advice the fire-hearted scholar received, it was no wonder she had no sure way of controlling her flames. Still, as Miss Heart’s testimony neither confirmed nor denied Ingrid’s top theory, the counselor had one more question to add to her line of interrogation. [colour=#008080]“I’m going to ask you a very personal question now, mmkay,”[/colour] Ingrid said with a tiny touch of gravity in her voice, [colour=#008080]“Did you ever make a habit of holding back any of your uhhh… emotions in question before you first discovered your pyrokinetic abilities?”[/colour] If Miss Heart replied with an affirmative, it would mean Counselor Marie was on the right track…
