  1. Roleplay Type: Mane RP Name: Sterling ''Fidget'' LaRouche Sex: Female Age: Young Mare Species: Unicorn Eye Color: Deep Red Coat Color: Cream Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Dark Red, mixed with a more pinkish red. Physique: Healthy, though a little meek. Cutie Mark: A briefcase with a gavel infront of it. Origin/Residence: Canterlot, currently Trottingham Occupation: Greenhorn Lawyer working for Maximillian Rockefilly, however is known for freelance work. Motivation: To give everypony a fair trail and a way to defend themselves. She offers no charge for her services if the defendant has little to no bits at all. Accompanied with the fact that she really wishes to impress Maximilian, she will always try to win for him and the ponies who need it. Character Summary & Cutie Mark Story: Born as Sterling LaRouche, she was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth. She lived in Canterlot, in her parents' mansion for most of her foalhood. Her parents were important business ponies, who cared very less about others, especially ponies that had less bits than them. Due to the absence of her parents, she had to find other ponies who she could bond with. She sought comfort with the many servants that lived in the house. She loved how simple they lived, and really wanted to live like that however her parents would not allow her to. After a argument with her parents about one of the maids of their house that was going to get fired because of a silly accident, which according to her was her father's fault, she was sent to a private school somewhere far away from Canterlot. She was enraged about what they did, so she grabbed her stuff, stole her fathers most beloved tie and ''went to the school.'' However, though she did leave home, she got help from her beloved servants at the mansion in her plan to escape her home. She never would go to the school, and they would hide any evidence of that she wasn't at the school, including letters etc. The first couple of weeks she had ran away from home, she had no idea what she was supposed to do. However, after a long while of trotting around downtown Canterlot, she managed to get in touch with one of the servants. The butler had said to her that her parents were planning to sue all of the staff, and that they would be left with nothing. Shocked and enraged, Sterling decided to use all of her bits to get into law school. She changed her name to Fidget, painted her mane and tail, and made sure that she wouldn't be identified as her former self. Being a complete new pony, she manages to finish her study and join a small law firm. The butler catches notice of this, and gets her as the appointed lawyer for their case. The prosecutor thinks very little of her, her being a greenhorn lawyer and not even having her cutie mark yet, but during the trial find out she is quite brash and gets her point easily across, a trait she treasures dearly. Wearing her lucky tie, her father's, during the entire trial wich results in her only being more stubborn about them being innocent, though it was very though to prove it that. After a long, tiring trial, the jury finally decides that the whole staff of the LaRouche's is innocent. Happy that both her beloved ''family'' has been proven innocent she throws a party at the small lawfirm. At the end of the party, it will have been both for the celebration of her first cleared case, but also for her recieving her cutie mark, the briefcase with a gavel. After the party, Fidget sent her parents a long letter, about her decision to leave the house and that she will not be returning anytime soon.. However, she has atleast came to an agreement to send her parents a letter everyday, to inform them about her health. She was slightly dissapointed that, whenever she would talk about her personal life, it would mostly be ignored by her parents, who mostly just want her to stay okay during her absence. She worked at the firm for a small amount of time, untill Max caught wind of her. She at first hesitated in becoming the attorney for him and his company. However, after a short talk, she agrees and joins him. She slowly, but easily starts to respect him, looking past his riches and talking to him quite often. As of now, she still loves working for him and tries the best she can to impress him. Usually pictured as brash, stubborn and rebelish, she's kind hearted to alot of ponies who she thinks deserve to be respected, including Max. Though, the respect for Max has mostly turned into quite a crush. If a pony is being rude to Max, her temper tends to get the better of her, even if those ponies are important or famous. She still aspires to becoming Max's personal assistant, but currently remains his lawyer. Though, she continues to try to impress him by trying to dig up certain things other lawyers might not do. Sneaking around and gathering evidence in a ''different'' way is not a problem for her, and will atleast ask her boss for permission to do so.
  2. Dear Dairy, if i can call you that... Oh boy, what a month so far.. hah, a bad month though.. Accidentally burned down a bar, allowed the Baron to escape and lost a piece of the trinket.. It's not going so well, it seems, but that's probably my fault. It is, most of the times anyhow, hah... Though, we are trying to track him down! Not a suprise there, since Brazil always has the best plans! Appearantly, today we are going to the library, wich is fortunate for me since i haven't been here for over.. well, since my foalhood!.. I just hope i won't burn it down like that bar.. Trotting down the halls of the large library, looking around at the thousands and thousands of books and scrolls. The entire building smelled of paper and ink, and looking rather fancy. It was an outstanding library just to look at. ''A-alright, here is t-the library!'' he said with a nervous smile. He was quite fond of this library, having vissited it from when he was a small foal. It was a great source of knowledge and had some very rare first-editions aswell! He couldn't be more thrilled to get here, however the fact that he was with company made it slightly harder for him to enjoy the revisit. Though the fact that it had been some weeks from when he burned down the unfortunate mare's bar, and letting the Baron escape too, he still wasn't all over it. Up untill now, he only wanted to help but without any reasonable succes. Still lamenting his failure, he packed his saddlebags with some additional puzzle cubes, scrolls, books, quills, and any other thing that might've been usefull. Atleast, to Survey himself. He had also packed a small present for the mare, who appearantly was named Martini Paradise. It was just a small necklace, but he wasn't even sure if she would accept it. He had requested it to be shaped like the trinket, and it looked quite detailed for such a token. He was just waiting for the right moment to give it, to ask her for forgiveness. Soon, hopefully..
  3. Embarrased as he felt, he placed the sunglasses that had slid off his nose back on and cleared his throath. ''...Oh.. yes.. i.. i'm sorry, i'm over reacting..'' he said, clearing his throath again and chuckling awkwardly. He tipped his head at the mares, and nodded weakly. ''...Excuse me, for my.. behaviour..'' he says with a grunt, as he trots away from the stand. He shook his head. Face it, Dice, he's not coming back. (( Ugh, i'm way too late on this. So, i'll be stepping out to prevent any further delays. T'was fun, i suppose ^^ ))
  4. Welcome to Canterlot, fellow Brony! Hope you'll enjoy your stay! ^^

  8. At the sound of his father's name, Dice froze. He suddenly realized what he tought he knew that pony from. He looked almost exactly like his father. He hadn't seen him in years, but he was sure the pony either was him or looked alot like him. ''Hey! Mister!'' he said firmly, frowing and walking up to Brazil. ''Why are ya wearing my father's fatigues? he asked sharply. He knew it did sound rude, but he wanted to know. Badly. Though not sure it was him or not, he'd rather just ask the pony some things. In a friendly way, ofcourse. ..sort of.
  9. Survey, still busy trying to get out the fire, quickly became bedazzled with the situation he worked himself in. The bar.. burning.. the baron.. escaping.. the fire.. spreading.. all this quickly rushed through his head, getting a bit disorientated by it. He started to think how this had happend, and quickly concluded that this situation had been caused by himself. The Baron.. the bar.. the trinket.. he wasn't sure what was the priority currently, so he just remained standing flustered in his place. Debris falling along side of him and the wood crisping at the heat of the flames, suddenly he heard a yell coming from the pony that Brazil was defending. Martini.. something.. he remembered, as he shook his head. ''O-oh.. no.. i-i'm..'' he gulped, cut himself off, and quickly nodded. He grabbed ahold of his saddlebags and dashed towards the door. Arriving outside, grunting and panting, he shook his head. No, no.. no.. no.. no.. no! How could he had gone such a terrible mistake! He stood there, trembling and wimpering a bit. ''..I.. i-i'm..s-so.. s-so.. sorry..'' he said with a silent voice. He was completely not sure how he was supposed to apologize for burning down the bar of a pony, so he quickly grew silent. The small colt now was not only a heap of nervousness, but now also guilt-ridden and terrified. He remained on his spot, not trying to say anything that could make the situation even worse than it already is. What were they going to do now.. what was /HE/ going to do now.. he could never pay for all the damage... oh no.. no... no. He sighed, and dropped his ears in shame, quickly levitating the book out of his saddlebags and opened it, starting to write again. It was a long day, and enough could be written in the small book. With the bar, slowly going up in ashes, he was gently brushing the quill along the paper, writing about pretty much anything. And mostly the guilt he feels. ((Thus this story is concluded - See the sequel at Treasured Trinket Part 2: The Map of Royals!!))

  11. As stated in the application, i do approve of the relation as brothers. The more the merrier, no? Heh, well.. the app itself i do like so far. Though, that i am sure that a cutie mark story would be a good addition to the application. ^^
  12. Royal Dice, who had been trying to go unnoticed by the other ponies, the one wearing the big, bright Parasprite costume a bit more than the others, as he recalls that those creatures almost stole his hat once, which he didn't like. Not one bit. He had been mostly just standing near the stall, waiting to see which pony wanted to go first, he was eying the two other ponies that approached the stall. One rather dashing looking mare and a somewhat similar stallion. He was at first a bit wondering who he reminded him off, but slowly tried to let it slide. He cleared his throat, and began to listen. Not that impressed with the ''Legend of the Apple Ghost'', he just lazily pulled the fangs out of his mouth and looked over at the apples. ''...Hmm.. well, i'm not in a hurry.. anypony want to go first?'' he said, trying to stay as polite as possible. He was eying the stallion with even more curiousness. ''Hey, nice hat.. do i know you from something?..'' he asked bluntly, his sunglasses and hat making it hard to see him frown.
  13. Survey had no idea what to do, as he knew he was too weak to fight the baron, he really wanted to help. He has tried to take fighting lessons once, only resulting in the pony giving the fighting class to punch him when he kept on stuttering too much. Those were some less great times. He knew he was just cursed to always get in trouble somehow! He knew he had to do something to help his boss, however, he wasn't sure he could do... well.. anything usefull. He could have a try at hitting the goons with a blunt object, but since he didn't seen any non-broken furniture, and only small objects, he ran over to the one goon he could defeat, the one buried under the pile of books. Atleast one of those books could work as a weapon. How effective that would be, will probably not been tought about by Survey. ''U-uhm.. s-sorry sir..'' he said to the unconcious pony lying under the mountain of books. He was feeling a bit guilty, as the crook was only working for that baron because of the bits he could earn from the job. He grabbed a small amount of bits from his saddlebag, and placed them infront of the pile of books. ''E-excuse me, f-for the.. l-literature..'' he mumbled, as he searched trough the pile, making sure not to touch the stallion. He found many big books, however they all sounded very interesting, so he just left them be. He did found a dictionary and an old, empty book. He looked at the goons and threw the dictionary at them, aiming for all three of them, as he tought it would atleast hit one of them. After he had thrown the other book, he grabbed the remaining book, the small one. It was slightly covered in dust, and looking quite rare. Survey, a fan of good books, for foals or for stallions, decided to take a look, and since it was indeed, empty, so he levitated a quill from his bag, and looked around for a place to write. As he saw a table, toppled over from the fight, lying on the floor. As he trotted over there, forgetting most things happening around him, knocked a lit candle over, placing his table right next to the fallen - and now almost fire causing - candle. He placed the book ontop of it, and levitated the quill onto the paper, writing his name on the first paper. As he wrote it, he ran out of available ink, so he looked back at where the ponies were fighting, only to notice the small flame the candle had caused, the flames scorching quite a bit of the wooden floor. ''A-AAah! F-F-Fire! H-Hot! A-A-Ah!'' he yells in panic, quickly levitating his gear back into his saddlebag, the side of the book catching flame. As Survey quickly noticed this, he began trying to blow it out, making it only bigger, while he did that, he threw it on the ground, and stomped on it, causing the flame to die out. While he was busy with his flamable book, the other flame was now starting to become bigger, easily noticable by the other ponies.
  14. Survey, slowly getting a bit used to the scares of Nightmare Night.. atleast, according to himself, has found the courage of visiting the monument of the feared Nightmare Moon. Though he was scared of her and knew about the tales, he decided to visit it anyway. As he trotted towards the monument, still shaking but grinning wryly, he was talking with Brazil about his costume, apologizing for the robbery of the ancient bandages wrapped around all of his body. He chuckled nervously as he talked. ''S-so.. u-uhm it's okay.. r-right?'' he asked, sounding both ashamed and sort of proud that he did get the wrappings. He didn't try to sound like that, but the tone in his voice made it clear he was atleast a bit proud of his work. His gemstone eyes sparkling happily as he coughed in result of some leftover dust in the wrappings. Because of the sparkle, he didn´t notice that Brazil wasn´t standing near him. At all. So it looked like he was talking to himself.
  15. Survey, after finally calming down from the shrieking and apologizing, did notice Brazil calling out for him. As he slowly trotted over to Brazil, he grinned awkwardly. ''N-niether i y-you..'' he says slowly, scratching his head. ''D-do you k-know the w-way out? I.. s-sort of.. a-am lost.. a-and f-frightened.. e-even though t-this is not the h-haunted house..'' he says, sounding quite ashamed of himself. ''C-can y-you help me o-out?'' he asks helplessly, the gemstones on his eyes sparkling quite a bit.
  16. Royal Dice, wearing nothing more than his usual suave fedora and sunglasses, walked past the pony standing next to the bucket. Interested in a less frightening event, he walked over to the bucket, grinning and showing a fake pair of fangs placed in his mouth. He got rather bored trying to pick a costume so he just bought a pair of vampire fangs and said to all ponies that asked that he was, indeed a vampire. Though his less spectacular costume, he still had some fun at the event. Trick or treating might not be his style, but smaller, less childish and yet fun events were more of his style. ''Ah, hello there Miss.'' he said to Applejack, tipping his head and smirking happily. ''Bobbing for apples, eh?'' he said curiously, placing his head back into the spot on his head. ''Sounds like fun! I'll do it..'' he said happily, chuckling at the idea.
  17. After finally being recovered from his scare at the haunted house, Survey decided to go to something less scary, the house of mirrors in this case. As he made his way to the entrance of the house, still shaking nervously and closing his eyes. Walking into the house filled with mirrors, he tried not to open his eyes, however when he bumped into a mirror. He opened his eyes and slowly looked at the mirror. ''O-oh.. e-excuse m-...'' he stammered, as he looked at himself in the mirror, his appearance still being that of mummy. He shrieked, and jumped backwards, and bumped into another mirror. Turning around to face it, he began another apology but quickly cut it off when he saw yet another mummy, wich looked the same as the other one he just bumped into, wich was himself. However, as naive as he is, he shrieked again, and ran blindly into the house, bumping into several more mirrors and getting scared of all those aswell, making it a rather uncomfortable walk through the mirror house.
  18. (( S-sorry that i'm late.. )) Survey was a bit confused with how to awnser it, as he knew it could get him in serious trouble if he told her too much. He did not ask Brazil if he could use those bandages, and neither did he ask the museum. He was in deep trouble if he'd slip too much information, so he just tried to sound as vague as possible. ''F-from the m-museum!'' he said, excitedly. Damnit! Why did he just say that! He couldn't do anything about it now, so he just tried to remain calm - and say nothing supsicious, though he now looked like he was the pony that had just lit up the whole festival. Forgetting about the rules is one thing, but neglecting them when you know they are there,That's something Survey didn't really like, though he did it himself quite a couple of times. As he looked around at the other ponies, he realized it wasn't a time of talking anyway. There was some drama going on, it seemed.
  19. Survey, who had been waiting at the entrance of the house for quite a long time was still trying to find courage to enter the house. He was trying to talk some sense into him. ''C-come on, S-Survey.. y-you can d-do this.. y-you are not a-afraid.. y-you are n-not a-aftraid..'' . After doing so after quite a while of staying hidden, he jumped out of the bushes, his wrapping looking slightly covered in dirt. He cleared his throath and slowly moved towards the entrance. As he carelfully entered the house of scares, he wasn't sure what to think of it at first, but a first impression is most of the times not what it looks like! As he looked around, a rather nervous grin plastered on his face, he became a bit worried. The house looked quite scary, but he had yet to see more! As he peered his head around a corner, a ghost popped out of a box. Survey, the colt he is, jumped backwards and fells on his back. As he crawled back up, he quickly dashed back towards the entrace, this time to leave the haunted house. Screaming like a filly he ran out, onto a different part of the festival.
  20. If a woodchuck could chuck wood..

  21. Survey looked a bit suprised, as the elderly mare looked right through his costume. ''O-oh.. g-good.. w-well, i'm S-Survey.. ma'am..'' he said, a coy grin noticable trough the bandages. He knew that his costume was only 'average' but it had to atleast be able to scare a old mare! He sighed. ''U-uhm.. e-excuse me, m-ma'am..'' he says, as he shrieked a bit at the sudden howl. What in Celestia's sake was that! he asks himself in his mind. He slowly approached the source of the sound and saw the wolf. He eeped, and jumped backwards. A wolf! Here! he yelled to himself, as he shook his head. Wait.. did the wolf just ask something? He quickly got back into reality as he stood there for a second. ''O-oh, t-these w-wrappings? W-well.. i w-was b-busy w-with them f-for q-quite a w-while.. a-and.. w-well.. t-the w-wrappings /a-are/ r-real...'' he says nervously. ''B-but a-anyway.. i-i'm S-Survey..'' he says, offering her a hoof. ''A-and, if i m-may s-say so.. w-what a v-very n-nice c-costume d-do you have! he says, with a coy grin. Come on now Survey, you got to keep in your head that you cannot hang out with ponies too long tonight! You have to bring those bandages back before anypony finds out.. especially Brazil! he tought to himself, gulping almost unnoticably. He looked over to the librarian too, grinning at her aswell, but still having his hoof out for the wolf. ''H-hello! Y-you have a n-nice c-costume a-aswell, m-ma'am, T-though i must adimt.. it's a r-rather strange.. c-choice of a c-costume... v-very nice n-nontheless!'' he says nervously to her.
  22. Survey was still busy laying the last touches on his custome - a mummy costume, with real ancient bandages that he 'lent' from Brazil's workplace -. As he was busy trying to get them as good-looking as possible, he levitated two gems toward him, eyeing them for any scratches. He had recently found a spell wich made them light up and change color, and what could be spookier than scary, red, glowing eyes! Survey, as usual, has done his research on how mummies are supposed to look, so he knew what he had to do. He slowly used his magic to attach the gems onto the costume. ''G-Good! A-all s-set S-Survey! L-let's h-hope y-you'll s-scare some p-ponies w-with this!'' he said, with a wicked grin and a nervous chuckle. Sometime later he finally managed to finish working on his outfit. ''A-A-alright.. t-this h-has.. b-been q-quite.. t-tiring.. b-but.. a-atleast it w-works..'' he said, slowly levitating the bandages over to him as he wrapped them around himself, covering most of his body. He quickly placed his glasses on the table, and used a spell to change it into small, contact lense sized glasses, and placed them infront of his eyes. ''A-alright.. n-now the g-gems..'' he said, carefully levitating the enchanted gems over to his face. He gently placed them infront of his eyes, making him see right through them, as per result of the second spell. ''I-i'm g-going to s-show B-Brazil t-that i c-can b-be g-good a-at.. u-uhm.. w-what was it a-again?... o-oh y-yes! H-Halloween.. i t-think..'' he said, biting his lip as he left for the festival. He was really looking forward to the faces of the other ponies if a 'real' mummy would appear on the festival! As he made his way to the festival, he heard a scream of somepony. Survey, as curious as always decided to take a peek. He noticed a elderly mare trying to run away from a disguised filly. He chuckled nervously at the sight, as he hasn't been able to scare anypony yet. However, due to his nervousness he decided not to get to close to them. He walked over to the other scared mare, who was busy screaming things at the filly that had just scared her.. ''E-e-excuse me.. a-are you alright?'' he asked, his eyes hidden behind haunted-looking gemstones.
