  1. Depends what you consider a 'theme park.' If it actually has to have a 'theme' then Knott's Berry farm, last year in uhhh....March. In CA. When was the last time you pet a horse? A REEEAL horse.

    Name Dropping

What I've done before is try to flip the conversation to a story (even if it's a false one) about how someone was like 'OMG! Angie! I can't believe you did that!' ....or something.
  3. I don't know why, but I found this startling. O_O' Maybe it's because I associate you with quiet, huggable Armony....who is a tiny pony.....huh. EDIT: YAAAY! BRONY STATUS!! this is my 500th post. I you, Armony.
  4. Doubtful. If the silly nilly antics of lying AJ, hateful Pinkie and FlutterB. is considered the 'dark side' of the pony characters, it just seems unlikely. I could see maybe something sad happening, but then turning out that it was nothing. Like....a pony gets called away maybe cuz their parents are sick or something, they overreact, then it turns out to be a stubbed hoof or something. There has to be the element of gag somewhere.
  5. I'm re-reading the entire 'WARRIORS' cat series by Erin Hunter, currently on the first book of the New Prophecy. So many middle school memories. I can't believe this series is already getting to be so old...
  6. I understand. I feel dumb sometimes too. ._.' And sometimes useless. Like....why am I not in college right now....I never thought I'd be 20 and working FT....I wanted to be something.....I hate it when I talk to friends in college and they know smart things. It makes me feel like all of the knowledge I accumulated in High School and life is just nothing. ....... Those stupid sandbags.
  7. Yay I have a height no one else has said yet! I'm 5' 7" and have been since middle school. (I'm 20, now.) ._.
  8. How do you think I got here? When was the last time you did a jumping-jack or two?
  9. Liked for having a high-value post. I don't give those out willy-nilly. That being said, my opinion on the matter is that no matter how you look at things--how you look at any 'fandom', there are people who will just never BE part of that fandom, and people who will have a hatred for that fandom, and that both things often stem from ignorance. I think more and more people are getting curious about ponies, but there are the obstinate people that no matter even if they were the 1% that DIDN'T like it, there opinion would NEVER change. They hate it JUST to hate it. Just to be against something. There are often times where I think that people just NEED to hate. And people that fall into prejudicing against whatever is deemed 'different' at a young age get only worse as they get older, and then....high school. Then they become the nasty jocks and bullies that destroy nerds and push sophomores to suicide, and make fun of kids for playing video games, being chubby, or even being smart. Nothing is going to change them, even after they graduate. In my opinion, these people are ADDICTED to hate. The uprising of something new and different, where normal non 'haters' are disliking it because it is difference, empowers these 'hate-addicts' to fuel the flames of hate, and try and make themselves feel more in control of whatever it is that's different, and also of all those who's dislike are fueled to hatred. It always stems from someone severe, twisting the opinions of others. Whether it's the media or a single anon on 4chan, there's always some sort of 'ringleader' who this can be traced to--again, in my own opinion. I truly believe that responding to haters with flame wars and snarls only furthers the rage and hatred between the haters and the fandom. I firmly believe in the response of 'love and friendship'. Smother them with kindness.
  10. Nearly every time I hear a joke...so, let's go with yesterday. When was the last time you felt lonely?
  11. [[OOC: I'm so sorry for the delay, everypony....RL and stuff kind of hassled it's way into my net life....sorry....sorry...]] Holly Dash smiled with delight at the acceptance of her breakfast idea, and nodded fervently as Granny Smith even approved of her idea. She set down her basket of fruit, and yelled after Granny Smith, "Ah'll be just a moment, Granny, Ah gotta go get some fresh apples!" With a quick nod to the gathered ponies to mark her leave of them, she ran off to the orchard, to the red delicious trees Applejack had specified. She looked up at them, and considered for a moment simply magicking them off the branches. That wouldn't do, though. She was on an apple farm, wasn't she?! These apples needed to be...applebucked! She giggled in excitement and pulled a few bushel baskets up to the tree--sure, she would only take one of them, but no reason she would waste apples by letting them fall on the ground. She turned her rump to the tree, and rose up as she had seen done before, and smashed her hooves into the tree. A trickle of apples followed. She frowned, and hit the tree again, harder. Then harder again, then smacked it a few more times in annoyance. She sighed, and looked up at the tree, annoyed. Finally, realizing that this may be something that took some work to get good at, she magicked down some apples into the bushel basket, and headed off towards the house, grabbing her own fruit along the way. "Granny Smith!" She called out to the old mare upon entering the home, looking around curiously. She'd never been in AJ's house, and had no idea where the kitchen was, "Where are ya?!"
  12. That time last week when I thought inhaling warm salt water would help get rid of the snuffles. When was the last time you had an 'OMG that person and I have the same interests we could be friends in real life why do they have to live 500 miles awaaaay'....moment?
  13. EDIT: Darn Ninjas. Pegasus. 1. I have two half brothers, but technically, I'm an only child! 2. I once dated a guy for 6 months without so much as holding hands. The only thing that changed was our Facebook status. 3. I have owned a grand total of 10 cats in all of my life. Including my present four. And as for dogs, I've owned a grand total of 4 in all my life, including the two I have now. A corgi and a golden retriever. question for youuuu.....hmmmmmm.......ummm...favorite...dog breed?
  14. Flitwink listened to the young stallion speak with a kind attentiveness, finishing up the mending of the stallion's limb as he spoke, finishing it up with a well-trained quick pin shut, and then gently releasing the hoof to its owner. "Your mother sounds very kind and your father..." he smiled warmly at the younger stallion, "Well...it sounds like he had his heart in the right place. I imagine there's no other way for an artist to provide for their family other than to travel..." He trotted away quietly, his hooves a tender clip clop as he strode away to clean up the small mess he had made with the herbs, "So...what happened to your parents?"
  15. ((ooc: sorry for the delay, everypony....sorry.......sorry...)) The nurse looked on, still unamused with his antics, "I said SLEEP." Without warning, she popped the needle into his flank with a swift, fluid motion, and before he could even turn his head, the liquid sleep inside it was emptied into his veins. She magicked the needle into a needle disposal bin and walked off, leaving the stallion to fall slowly into the oblivion of forced sleep. ~~~~~~~~~ "...." Flit looked at the younger stallion long and hard, reflecting on the beloved memory of his wife. This colt reminded him of her in some small way....maybe it was their small stature. He brushed off the notion without second thought, and stated simply, solemnly, "She died." He walked away, his expression calm as he began putting away the orange herb, "She had carried an incurable illness with her from her homeland--she was a Zebra--and she died shortly after our filly was born." He smiled at the thought of his rough and tumble daughter, rembembering the tiny foal she once was, and the day that he had delivered her, "She was a shaman in her country, a medicine worker and a magicker....she taught me a lot about herbs....and a lot about life..." He chuckled, remembering her playful conjures and spells, and all the magic she weilded, always in good humor, "She was quite a character. Always going on about herbs and magic...never stopped talking about her homeland, either...." He turned away from the counter, the small package of herbs neatly tied in a tidy little package, complete with a bow on the top. It was amazing that he had such skill with his mouth. Most unicorns couldn't even tie a bow so well! He set the package down next to Crosstitch, and grabbed his hoof, and began rebandaging the sore hoof, and hummed softly as he did it, "What about you, Cross-Stitch? I can tell by the look of your hooves--and your cutie mark, of course--that you are some kind of sewing pony....what's your story?"
  16. Cerena's smile slowly faded as the princess carried on, and she realized just how completely, and utterly....different that the two of them truly were. She turned her face away, somehow, being faced with the fact of it all, made her very sad. "OH!" She exclaimed, as before them spread a wide field, surrounded by the winding beams of the unmanaged Everfree trees, supple buds as milky white as starshine blossomed as far as the eye could see, in what appeared to be a perfectly circular clearing. Not one of them extended beyond the rim of trees that formed around the meadow. Glowing in the warm light of the full moon, they formed a reflection of petals to the lunar orb high in the sky. They were absolutely breathtaking. She slowly descended, and lightly placed her hooves down among them, trying her very best not to crush the beautiful blossoms, "We're here...." Her voice was soft, as though if she were to speak loudly, the beautiful glow would vanish from the serene clearing. She looked up at the princess, "Aren't they beautiful?"
  17. ((please proceed to check your g-mail account nao plz. ))
  18. Flitwink looked over his shoulder, noticing that the blue stallion was looking around, looking at the drab scenery of the floor, "I know...it's kind of.....bleh for decor, isn't it?" He chuckled softly, his voice a soft, lyrical tone, and set Cross-Stitch down on the check up table, shutting the door to the exam room behind him, "When my wife was still working here, we had flowers, and talismans from her country adorning every room at every corner.....but now I have to keep those in my veterinary clinic....they think it would be too....cumbersome for the ponies with allergies..." He sat on his rump in front of the table, and still came up to about eye level with Cross-Stitch, who he had placed down on the table in front of him. He reached a hoof for the stallion's poorly bandaged one, and carefully, skillfully quick, began unwinding the bandaging. He looked at the reddened, swollen curve of the limb, and delicately tried to turn it in various normal angles. Seeing the pain the stallion held on his face only more assured his thoughts, "You've sprained it pretty bad." He rose up and stalked away from the young stallion, "It's going to take a good week or more to heal....but I've got an herbal remedy here....." He pulled down a jar from one of the few cabinets in the room, and pulled the lid off with his teeth, and suddenly the air was filled with a delightful, pungently sweet odor. He inhaled deeply, and gave a sigh, pausing for a moment, remembering fondly the times he and his wife concocted such things, "....Oh, uh...sorry. Anyway, this will help dull the pain, and also speed up the healing process..." He pulled out a small shaft of paper, and tilted the jar so it's contents--orange colored roses, crushed and dried, and a mixture of other odd-colored herbs, fell out onto the paper. He also put a small amount into one hoof, and stalked over to the stallion, reaching out the hoof, "Here. Eat this for now. I'll wrap that hoof then, and send you home with the rest of the herbs." Smiling calmly, he looked expectantly at the stallion, hoof firmly holding out the herbs before him.
  19. It was simply a jest based on the fact that this image is OBVIOUSLY of Pinkie Pie. It's like sarcasm, only more 'beating around the bush' just for the fun of it. Lighten up, bro.
  20. The nurse, unamused by Frederic's request for such a potent drug, reached with her magic for a sharply needled syringe, "Please, young man, you NEED to rest--no drug--especially one as unsafe as Adderall-- is going to make up for lost sleep. " She spurted a small amount of liquid, as well as a few air bubbles, out of the syringe, "If you continue to refuse to take the pills, I'll have no choice but to use any means necessary." She turned the needle in the air, it's sharp point aimed right at Frederic, and her face darkened, "Any. Means. Necessary." ~~ Flink smiled kindly at the small stallion. It was not every day somepony complimented his name. He was about to continue his gait forward, when he caught a hint of the younger stallion stumbling. He leaned over, and caught Cross-Stitch with a firm shoulder, his wing flexing out for added support, "It's alright. Let me help." Without waiting for consent, he extended his bulky wing under the other stallion's petite hooves, knocking him over onto his outstretched pinion. As though he had done this a hundred times--and, rest assured, he certainly had--he flexed his wing up and in a short slide, the stallion was now resting on his back between his wings, "Just hold tight, I'll take a look at that in a moment." Without any further comment, he made his way to the exam room.

  22. Holly Dash Holly trotted along quick-stepped, a little bit in front of Gladwin, happy to be unburdened by her loaded cart. It wasn't as heavy as it had been on occasions in the past, when she had been able to tote around watermelon, but the watermelon had been singed by the fire in her garden, and they were just barely beginning to regrow. As was common, since ponies do not have fingers, her shining engagement ring was slid down onto her horn, the embedded jewels in it gleaming on her brow. She felt positively....FANCY with it there. And she was glad, too. Had Gladwin gotten her one of the oft used 'bracelets' of engagement, it would get nothing but dirty! She was always trousing around in the mud and getting her hooves mucky. She turned to Gladwin as he mentioned her parents. Her giddy feelings subsided....it had been....quite a while since she had seen her parents....she had, truthfully....never even considered going back to Beakbreak until now.... "Maybe we should visit yur parents first...." She chuckled softly, nervously, "Ah....Ah'm not so sure Ah wanna see mine..." BOWF BOWF BOWF!!! As though out of nowhere, Holly's massive dog plodded up, black as night with snowy white paws as dirty as her own hooves. She smiled as the dog--taller than she was, and weighing twice as much, trotted at her side. He acted like a little pup, despite being as big as a stallion. She'd always wanted a dog, it had been pure luck that she got such a great one. "Who's mama's wittle boyee~~!??" Holly romped around with the pup as they got closer to the town square, where she would be opening her cart for the day. She was gonna be testin' out Gladwin's sales pitch! She was good enough at her job, it was time to put her future hubby to the test! She nuzzled the dog affectionately, and received a sloppy slurp to the face in response, "Oh, Ah wub you too, ya mutt...now, C'MERE!" . She scampered off with the dog, distracted in their game of chase, leaving Gladwin behind, still heading for the farm, her going in a completely different direction, vanishing as a family of ponies, also heading to that farm, trotted by.
