  1. Silver Stare: Favor: 6 - Stress 0/0 Silver Stare smiled softly as the dragon returned to his writings, her attention suddenly drawn to the blue pegasus not far from her. She trotted up to the pegasus and the unicorn next to her. "Hello," she said softly, hoping her smile would allow her into some trivial bond with the two. "I'm Silver Stare. I've seen you both around, but with the rather..." the unicorn paused, trying to think of the appropriate word. "...hectic," she finally settled on, "days we've been having, I haven't had the chance to introduce myself." She glanced at Grimsby, making his attention was at least outwardly elsewhere, then turned back to the pair. "I saw what you did there. I myself am rather curious as well. Were you able to glean anything useful from what you observed?" (OOC: Sorry for not waiting a full round for posting, but I figured as we're all in the merely toying around with the mechanics and characters phase right now, it would be acceptable for relationship establishment purposes.)
  2. Silver Stare: Favor: 6 - Stress 0/0 Silver Stare paced back and forth, the gentle trotting of her hooves still a rather new sound for her. It seemed wrong to her, though being an eldritch abomination for most of your existence before becoming a indigo pony might have that effect on someone. Not that she regretted it, she didn't at all, it was just a lot to take in. Especially the part about being purple... or purple-ish rather. She glanced back at the rest of the rather large room, her eyes inevitably shifting from the small group of maids with her to the grey dragon surveying the lot of them. Her eyes met with Grimsby's briefly, and she gaze falling to avoid his piercing stare. She gave a rather long sigh, then returned to her pacing, giving up on the hope of a quick release from the purgatory of waiting; her trotting rejoined the gentle chatter of the others and the scribbling of a pencil against paper as the only constant sounds in the room.
  3. Hi! It's always great to see another join the herd, Welcome to Canterlot!
  4. I have to agree with Phil. While it'd be interesting, it'd really kind of ruin the distancing from the stereotypical 'girl's show' and I know for a fact a bunch of shippers would be hella pissed. Minor characters or maybe for an episodic moral maybe, but as an actual canon-ship? Nope.
  5. I've now succesfully moved. First thing I do? Ponies. Good episode overall, definitely for a setup episode at the very least. Can't wait till next week!!!! :squee:

  12. I'm most likely voting Obama. Barring tragedy. But yeah, most likely Obama. I'm a liberal tilted Moderate. I hate people arguing from a side and saying they're center (Thank you Dessa for being an adult and admitting you have actual opinions and simply stating where you stand. Same to you Phil.) I despise Fox News, but I also despise MSNBC. We kind of need an ACTUAL new station in America. The only station that is CLOSE to center is CNN, and all they do now is stupid stuff from Twitter. I find it sad that I have to watch the BBC World Report for news about U.S. not tilted with politics.

  18. Tabitha St. Germain has sung before, in the Barbie movies, but has said in an interview (if I can find that again I'll link it...) that she finds it difficult to remain in character while singing. While trying to hold a voice that requires a certain amount of pride to be inflated into it at all times, I can see why she'd prefer to have an singing v.a. rather than performing the numbers herself. In regards to Tara Strong though, I'm not sure why she'd opt out. As far as I know she only voices Twilight so I don't think it'd be too big of a deal to sing for the character as well. Tabitha St. Germain at least voices Rarity, Luna/Nightmare Moon, and (this is just an educated guess on a large number of Bronies parts since theres no credited V.A.) Zecora.
  19. I'm pretty sure at least one or two of those cartoons are dead now. At the very least Brandy and Mr. Whiskers HAS to be off the air. Please let it be gone...
  20. Breeze shook his head. "Um, no... It's my first time here actually. I have no idea where I am in this city really, just managed to get lost enough to find what I was looking for." he said, gesturing to the package on his back. "So Spook," Breeze said, stepping towards the unicorn. He tried to crane his neck the same way Spook had before and his eyes went wide as a surge of pain snapped through his spine. He quickly returned to his normal posture, hoping no one noticed the rather... massive... failure and continued on, "I guess we'll just go with any idea you have." He gave a joking smile as he added, "Celestia help us all."
  21. Hello there darling! Welcome to Canterlot. I hope you have an awesome time here!
  22. (OOC: You'll have to thank Alistair for that one. I quote him quite a bit. Oh, and before anyone asks, I have NO idea where Breeze's accent came from, or even what it's based off. Probably a speech impediment. XD) Breeze almost took a step back when Spook thrust his face towards him, the pegasus ducking slightly to avoid an accidental stabbing. Maybe I was wrong about the Princess Stabbity part, he thought, a chuckle escaping from him. As Dazzle finished speaking however, Breeze grinned. "Well, I'd say you're right in that one Miss Dawn, though now you got me thinkin' the same way 'bout myself." He paused, then shrugged. "Meh, I think I'm fun and at least mostly pleasant. That's 'bout as close as we're gonna get."
  23. Breeze smiled. Partly because of Dazzle's energetic attitude and partly because of Spook's antics. "I'm Zephyr Breeze, my friends all call me Breeze though. It's nice to meet the both of you." He glanced the two other ponies over, they both looked to be about his age. He was tempted to ask, but it'd been near beat into by his Dad that that wasn't exactly the type of question you ask a mare. Dazzle seemed nice, extremely so at that. Maybe a little naive, but that just seemed to come with the territory with nice people. There was also Spook. Spook seemed... fun. Interesting at the very least. Sure, maybe she appeared a bit crazy, but it felt like more of an 'OO! Pretty Colors~!' crazy than a 'Princess Stabbity!! KILL~!' kind of crazy. This definitely peaked his interest. Plus the bit of boyish charm, though it seemed out of place, seemed to be just compelling enough that he wanted to get to know a bit more about this mare. Subtlety would be key, he'd just have to find a way to tag around for a bit. "I'm glad to hear you're okay, that looked like a bit of a tumble there. I'm sorry to pry a bit, but where are you headin' Spook? I mean, if there's somethin' you need doin', I could help you out. I mean, sure you feel fine and all, but I know there've been times when, I at the very least, felt just fine but haven't been a hundred percent and couldn't exactly get it done." Breeze fought a strong urge to facehoof. Subtle? Yeah, that'd gone out the window real quick.
