So, me and my friends got together a while back and made an abridged version of Episode 1. We enjoyed it at the time, although since then, our cast has kinda vanished, so i'm sad about that... but anyway, here's what we did, hope you enjoy it! I mostly just wrote the script and edited the video... along with trying to do Flutterhigh's voice....

Well, at another forum i use to visit, we would have Signature contests about every week or so. I can see many people here have some skills in making neat sigs, So i think that might be something we could do... Maybe not so much based on ones ability to draw, but ones ability to take raw materials (like pictures or vectors) and put them together in an eye catching way. As for RPs are concerned, i'm still trying to get use to how things work around here... I'm more use to 1x1 RPs... but anyway, on topic, A whodunnit would be neat! we could have one person decide who the murderer is (or who stole the cupcakes, or whatever), and secretly sends them a message discussing how it woudl happen before making it so... then the other have to figure out who did it by the clues left lying around, accusing people and questioning others... i think it would be exciting! i can't think of much else at the moment though...

Name: Vulpus Sex: Male Age: 20 Species: earth pony Pelt Color: deep blue Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: dirty blonde, medium length, messy and unkempt most of the time Eye Color: hazel Cutie Mark: a lazy u shape, like a thin crescent moon on its side almost like a smile. he received it as a child while recovering in the hospital right after a terrible accident in the mountains.. he had time to talk with his friends and cheer them up while they too recovered, and when the bandages were removed he saw the mark. his friend mentioned it looked like a smile, and he even knew that he was good at making ponies smile, but he simply thought they were scars from the operation after the accident, so he still continues to search for his 'true' cutie mark. Physique: Above average height, slightly buff but with an extra few pounds as well. The main thing to notice is his front, right leg is missing, and instead a plastic prosthetic leg is strapped in place. It’s color and texture difference is easy to spot, with it being an almost eggshell white, with silver rivets at the joints, aling with two brown straps keeping it attached to his body.It's powered by unicorn magic, so from time to time it will run out and leave him without a leg to stand on. Origin: a smaller community outside Trottingham Roleplay Type: Occupation: Takes up odd jobs as he travels Motivation: Since he lost his leg as a foal, he’s tried hard to prove that he can still be just as good as anyone will all of their legs. Although after so long without receiving his cutie mark, this has made his motivation spawn from anger rather than aspiration at times. Likes: Sweets Dislikes: finding out he’s not good at something Character Summary: As a foal, he and his friend were in a rock slide that cost him his leg, and injured his other legs. He managed to recover to a point where he could hobble around, but the children teased him and told him he would never find his cutie mark. The crescent shaped 'scars' on his flank are a constant reminder that his injuries had impaired him from being like the other ponies, rather than a reminder that his special talent is making ponies smile. He managed to find a prosthetic leg make by a unicorn pony, making it like he had a real leg that bent and moved just a like his old one. Over the years he’s become very talented in multiple fields, but his lack of a cutie mark still taunts him, as if saying he’ll still never be as good as the others, even though he's had his mark all along. he's kind to most everyone, but his ambitious nature and his desire to find his cutie mark sort of pushes his friends away. as for talents, because he's ambitious, he's gotten good at all sorts of things. he got a variety of talents, and if he's never tried it, he will to see if THAT is his cutie mark. he's a jack of MOST trades, but there are plenty of things he's not good at, and he knows this for sure because he's tried his hardest to be good at everything. So, i'm sure we've all read a fanfic or saw a comic dealing with shipping characters together in some romantic way (Or a more R rated way, but anyway...) What do you think about there being some ACTUAL romance in the series? and if so, with which character or characters? I'm not sure how i feel... first off, they would NEVER put two of the girls together... various groups would have a fit over that... So they would have to have a guy... and if they were to have someone be in a serious relationship with one of the main six, he would have to be pretty major too, along the lines of Spike and Applebloom (not quite in the 'main' cast, but not quite a background character...) And if THAT were to be so, i dunno if the series would be quite the same with six girls and a guy... I'm sure theres some way they could do it, but I'm not entirely sure how that would be... I think they should address it to some degree, even little girls have to deal with romance sometimes... but i'm not sure how they would be able to present it properly that would be A: Educational B: Age appropriate, and C: Entertaining... I dunno... random topic of discussion, Go!

I'm hoping that in some random scene in the background, you see a mysterious blue box halfway behind a building with Dr Whoof walking toward it. then the camera cuts away, then back again, and the box is GONE... that would blow my mind, hehe...

Hm, thats a tough one... I'm mostly stuck between two charecters... Rainbow Dash is really cool, and although she's very boisterous at times, she does have to talent to back it up. And then Fluttershy.. she's just so freaking adorable, its hard to resist her innocence... And then Trixie... I dunno, another cool one who boasts a lot... although from what i've seen of Fan made stuff like comics and whatnot, she just seems like such a tragic character, i just want to hug her and make it all better... As for everyone else, its still hard... they're all really likable in their own way... Even Rarity at times.

Discord is more of the "Hey! I'm here! And i'm messing stuff up!" kinda guy... more boisterous, with more poking and prodding of the characters... Trollestia is a bit more subtle... "You have 6 friends? here, have 2 tickets to the Gala" or "Oh, you didnt know my dying bird was a Phoenix Oh if only i had told you earlier, ALLLL this trouble could have been avoided" and you know she's just snickering in the back of her head... So it sorta depends i suppose... i can't decide yet... I need to see the next half of the episode before i make a decision...

So, i've got a couple of fanfics that i've been working on, and although i really like the general ideas that are in them, i'm not exactly sure how they look grammatically... I'm sure theres nothing majorly bad about it, but i'm mostly concerned with my descriptive skills. I feel like i can carry on a good conversation and weave a good story, but if you asked me to describe a scenario, i would only get a couple lines down... So would anyone like to help me edit these? or maybe be a co-writer of some kind and use their descriptive skills to help me out?

I dunno about an audio book, but an editor would be nice... It would be fun for you, i'm sure, and if you find something really good, you could post it on Youtube, a few of my friend made a channel called WTFanfic where they would read wierd or... questionable fanfics together and laugh about them (Usually Rule 34 kinda things, so it wasnt like we were making fun of them...) But anyway, Point being that it could be fun and get you some views if you read them on youtube.

I tried doing one for TMZ by Wierd Al, but cutting all those tiny bits fro msoo many episode was waaaay too time consuming for me...

For the most part, yeah... To my online friends i'm not so secretive about it, although most of them are bronies anyway... My cousin knows because he and his girfriend have watched it... he teases me about it, but his GF told me when they watched it, HE was the one saying "Lets watch another episode." so im pretty sure he's still hiding in the stables, as it were... As for family, most of them dont have any interest in the things i do or watch, so i see no need to let them know i watch MLP. However somehow I got to talking with my dad (who doesnt live with us anymore, so he's not around...) and he was curious about what little projects i've been up to... i linked him to an abridged episode me and my friend did, and he loved it, even though he doesnt watch the show. so he knows i watch it (And he approved, he loved the PowerPuff girls when they were on.) everyone else, i dont really see the need to just jump out and tell them...

Not exactly... Not really interviewing ourselves, it would be more like everyone just tell their stories, and they would be cut up and put in order... most people's story's (I'm guessing) kinda follow this pattern: First hearing of the show First impression of the show (before seeing it) Finally being convinced to watch it Impressions of the show AFTER watching it What kept them watching. So, for example, the video would be cut up like this: Person A: So i kept seeing these image macros of ponies on 4chan Person B: I noticed a lot of pictures on Deviant art Person C: My friend asked me if i heard about this new My Little Pony show on TV Person A: I asked what the heck they were talking about Person B: I decided to look up why these ponies were so popular all of a sudden. Person C: I thought he was crazy, I mean, its MY LITTLE PONY! Seriously? Person B: I wasn't sure why a show for little girls was so popular all of a sudden Person A: I thought it looked silly Person C: But my friend FINALLY convinced me to watch the first episode... Etc etc... Basically it goes through all those milestones, each person having a bit of their story told at one time before going to the next persons story bit, slowly moving through all their stories... And maybe at the end, there WOULD be some question/anser sessions.... like whos your favorite, why you still like it, why do you think its so popular, etc...

So i was thinking about a little project to keep me occupied... Every Brony has a story to tell, right? how they heard of the show, their first reactions, the first time they watched it, what kept them hooked, etc... so... what would it look like if we got a bunch of videos of people telling their stories and put it together? I think this would be fun to watch from a brony viewpoint, and it would show how many people love the show and how varied they are. I'm still thinking about it, what do you think?

Or not... heh. Um, so i'm still new here, kinda got introduced to this place by one of the mods... And although it looks interesting, still getting use to how things work here... I'm sure this'll be a fun place to come to though.
