Wow, you guys had a lot time to watch TV. Before I moved to the US, the only two shows that I knew I had to watch were Ranma 1/2 Pokemon That's pretty much it. I had glimpses of other stuff, but if I had to watch one hour of something every month (and it was usually that), I would watch one of those two. After I moved to the US, however, TV suddenly became my best friend, lol By then, these were my favourites. Futurama Family Guy Avatar: The Last Airbender SpongeBob SquarePants The Fairly Odd Parents The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius Dexter's Laboratory Teen Titans Codename: Kids Next Door Danny Phantom Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers American Dragon: Jake Long Kim Possible Lloyd in Space Yu-Gi-Oh! Catscratch Hey Arnold! All-Grown Up! I probably watched others regularly, but those are the main ones. I know that if I watched any of them right now, I'd still think they were as good as I did back in the day. Obviously, this all occurred fairly recently though. lol

Yep, Cartoon Network, like every other channel, is going downhill fast. The only good shows still on it are Regular Show and The Looney Tunes Show. Adventure Time has had its moments, but it can get very annoying sometimes. The rest are just terrible. They really have nothing going for them. Not in comedy, not in plot, not in originality. Not even Adult Swim is as good as it used to be. Squidbillies, seriously? Sigh... It's not only Cartoon Network, though, it's every big cable network. When was the last time The Discovery Channel, History Channel, National Geographic, Animal Planet, etc... was not cluttered by reality shows? Ice Road Truckers? How is that history? Every aspect of our society really disheartens me. I don't even know.

I started the Uglies series by Westerfield about a week ago. Now I'm halfway through the second book,. They're pretty good, honestly. Not at all, what you'd expect by the title or by the synopses.

It looks like I'll be working these holidays, like most of them. It sucks that there is little means with which to visit friends. If it were easier, I'd probably hang out with them the entire time.

Some things more than others. The whole problem is probably just his sister going through phases. She is only 13, and she probably doesn't want to look totally uncool to her friends, like yeah. We should never forget the curiosity and open-mindedness that exists in kids, though. That's something that I don't like that comes with age. Then again, it's all just a fallacy set by the system. Oh well.
