flutterscotch
So, when I'm not here, at work, or trying to remember how to draw, I take photos. LOTS of photos. Several hundred a week, mostly of the various and varied toys in my collection.Eventually I want to link My Little Pony into these types of photos, but it is hard because they are not pose-able.I am trying to get better and remember what I learned when I was a photographer's assistant. even though I have a SDLR (Canon EOsl Rebel Xsi, but I am due for an upgrade)it's easy to use it as a crutch. This summer I'm going to be working more with lomography and Polaroid. Here's a sample of some of my "work".I have no interest in making this anything more than a fun hobby. brianblackberry
Wow! I really do did the vivid colors and the three dimensionality you give to these images. I'd be curious to see what ponies would look like with such camera work.

flutterscotch
Well, the SCALP is still like that. Rehairing Blythes takes so long that it's just easier to rip out a scalp and get a new one, plus you can make a ton of money mohairing scalps. (Hint hint.) If you're good at it, they run around $140 for nice mohair, and around $70 for nylon or saran.

flutterscotch
Those are so awesome. I wish I could take photos like that.Thank you! All you need is a decent camera, though. The DSLRs make it almost impossible to take a bad photo, if you have a good lens.Oh, I love the one with the little green guy. You've got a nice array of hobbies there flutterscotch. The green one makes me especially happy because my friend Ion made it, it's one of 15 that were actually produced, and I got to watch it come to fruition from the merest idea to actual production : http://iontallman.blogspot.com/You should watch his blog. He doesn't update a lot because he's still trying to work out the bugs of production, but he made the most fun custom toys.Scotchie kind of has too many hobbies. The green frog looking things. My favorites They are by studio Uoo http://www.studio-uoo.com/Kenzo is another one of my favorites and biggest inspiration! If I could ever go to Japan and visit his store I would freak out like a little fangirl.
