franshpout Posted July 2, 2014 Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 Unlike Blackwing, Violet decided to trust Elssir for now and grabbed the crystal with her magic before levitating it down in her bag. She didn't see any reason not to trust him if he was there to help... actually it was more because of the raven. Midgar seemed like a nice enough bird to her and her first contact with him managed to lift some suspicions of Elssir.At the mention of the beast and how they had to be extremely careful, she gulped her saliva silently just at the thought that they'd have to fight something huge. She had no idea of what it looked like, but she could just imagine a giant shadowy creature. Well if that was to be the case, then she would prepare herself mentally... she'd put her guard up and let herself be aware of her surrounding. At that the black griffon approached her. She'd look at him briefly wondering if he had anything to say... yet he remained quiet. She could tell one thing, though. He gave her a different vibe this time, like he actually wanted to stay close to her for a certain reason and it felt rather positive and reassuring.Elssir's smile on the other hoof... wasn't as reassuring. Violet shook her head in order to take some pictures off of her mind. She had to remind herself that she was in reality, right now and not some story with monsters everywhere... Elssir was probably one of those who's appearance could deceive others. It didn't mean he was a bad pony, yet she'd remain careful. Now as he had begun to follow, so did she. He could tell that Violet was preparing herself for the upcoming task, though he wondered if it would be enough. It is true that she has great potential but until she realizes it and brings the power out she might have a hard time. Blackwing was not about to let that happen, not to anyone here. No one will have too die, or get injured unnecessary. He wouldn't allow it. He was still waitign for Elssir to be out of earshot, there was something eh needed to tell violet. Elssir Posted July 2, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 When the Elssir was finding the way in the deep forest his raven Midgar sat at the Violets back. Holding that photo what Elssir forgot.He looked into her eyes with a friendly expression. But Elssir was very fast at the forest. She didn't mind him being there since so far he had only been good. Yet she had noticed something in the beak of the animal.''What's this you have here?''She'd ask like that. At first sight it seemed to be a picture. She gently pulled the photo out of the raven's beak with her magic to have it float in front of her face. The golden light of her horn was creating enough light to be able to see, but instead of analyzing the picture, she looked forward to see where Elssir was. Compared to him, they were slow... he was already ahead of them.''Mister Elssir, wait for us!''She'd call out before looking back at the picture. Elssir Posted July 2, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 The light stopped maybe 30 meters from the place where Violet was. Maybe Elssir heard what Violet said or he noticed that he's too fast. At first Midgar didn't want to get that photo to Violet but after a few of seconds he let it be. The photo was old and just in black and white colours (old as everything what Elssir allready showed).It was a photo of some family. In the middle of the photo was a little pegasus with dark hair. Smiling and with the happines in the eyes. On the left side of him was a beautiful lady in wonderful, but dark dress. On the right side was an 'allicorn" in the strange dark outfit. Probably he was somebody very powerful. His strict eyes and no smile were creepy. Here was also a little filly on the photo and some another ponies. All in dark clothes and with strict expressions.And than... It looked like that here's princess Luna too! In the background was strange fort on the hight rock. This photo was really strange. I'll try. when you were waiting on the place what the sign mentioned, big raven appeared and looked like it wanted to interact with you. After a while the fellows decided to follow the raven. The raven stopped on the place where was a lantern. From here that light cane from. Than the person who was singing showed himself. He was a grey pegasus with dark brown coat and hat. But he was creepy because he had one eye blind with a ugly scar. Also his tooth were much more sharper than normal. He talked with a strange ancient accent and he looked like as if he's from old times. He told you he's Elssir abd asked you for help. franshpout Posted July 4, 2014 Report Share Posted July 4, 2014 Violet was just looking at the front of the picture. She didn't have any intention to look behind it... well for now, at least. Her eyes were only trying to depict who was in it. One of them seemed a bit familiar, but just like that she didn't know if it was that or not. The photo itself was very old... today they had the technology to make them in color while back then it was only black and white. This meant that this wasn't from today for sure. The filly had stopped walking at the same pace as the others for now... too focused to look at the picture using the light of her magic aura. Concentrated so much she was forgetting that she was inside the Everfree Forest where dangerous creatures resided. Not even the normal rustling of the leaves around as well as the night noises of the night birds was affecting her. Yet she'd jump out. Her horn glew brighter for a second out of reflex of her jumping and had almost dropped the picture. No monster was nearby, but the voice of Elssir had taken her back to the real world. She ceased to look at the picture and looked in front of her as their guide was coming back to them. He had asked what she was holding. Was it his? Without saying a word and looking somewhat intimidated, she would show the picture to Elssir.''Your raven was holding it... He had awakened in a pool of water, which had presumably broke his fall and saved him. He crawled out and stood up. He checked to see if there were any injuries. Nothing. Good. He had no where to go but further into the forest. He heard a low growling sound and decided to run before it got closer. He ran through the forest, attempting to dodge logs, bushes, and all the other foliage that had existed. He looked behind him, and he saw something. It was a creature larger than he. Necro ran, he didn't care about the brush that was in the way, he just wanted to leave. He didn't know how he got here, and he didn't want to. He just wanted to go home... Where was home? He had forgotten almost everything. He had reached a dead end. The only place he could go is straight off the cliff, now that the monster was closing in on him. Than he was strict again. "Thank you. This photo means a lot for me." He just said and hide it into his backpack. Than he smiled to Violet. it was really a smile not that creepy one. "It looks like that Midgar found a new friend... well let's go."He started to lead again. But this time he wasn't so fast and he was waiting to all. It was a peaceful place hidden in the forest. Wooden bench between the flowers and a friendly look of that place was something strange in the forest. "This is my home"Elssir said."I need to take some stuff and you need to take a break. With the sunrise we will go."Than he smiled. It was friendly smile. "Who wants a tea?"
