I'm not even a background influence? Me? The all-mighty and great Imagination?

I'm hurt.

In the endless, cataclysmic battle that is Fawkes versus Applestia?

Well... you've never really taken part in the vast conflict.

The one time Appy and I were locked in mortal combat (WHICH IS LIKE, THE SECOND TIME IN HISTORY THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED), you were hopping around telling us how disappointed you were that we were battling :I

I'll be ready when that day comes.

Ready with a broken glass bottle, and aiming.

Or not.

It could be entertaining to listen, after all.

Anyway, I feel like I'm becoming... I dunno.

Grinchy.

I keep hurting peoples' feelings when I'm honest.

I come off as brash.

I have less patience for others.

And then, I feel like I'm piling too much work on for myself.

Two extra classes. Weekends volunteering for five hours a day.

I finally got it together, but now

can I still maintain momentum?

Must maintain momentum. Must maintain momentum.

Well.

Except for when I hold grudges, but that's not a big deal.

Wanna know a little secret?

Eh... I hesitate to tell this tale somewhat, but EH :I

MMM. Must Maintain Momentum.

I've seen that little mantra a couple times in my life.

I also saw when Appy posted it in... I believe it was the philosophy thread.

Anyway.

After I saw Appy post it, I started using it myself.

Because Appliance used it... BUT ALSO BECAUSE I REALLY NEEDED IT AT THE TIME AND I REALIZED HOW GOOD IT WAS AND STUFF LIKE THAT :I

I would chalk a lot of all that up to stress just from your shear workload.

I know I become especially cynical when I'm especially stressed. High workloads and whatnot.

And there's nothing wrong with being honest.

Lying to someone just to spare their feelings is worse than hurting their feelings by being honest.

It's like peer-reviewing someone's paper or story.

You don't want to tell them the bad things you thought about their story... you don't want to hurt their feelings...

But they REALLY need to suck it up and just listen.

It's the only way they'll ever improve their writing is through those HARD critiques.

THOSE, while possibly at times painful, are the most valuable opinions they will ever receive.

You know...

As long as your not being all like Acynder.

Blatantly negative and trollsome :I

EDIT: OH. Yeah. Does Appy have a grudge against Faaaaaaaaaawkes? :3

All three of those faces have entirely different meanings to me... ._.

what does the ._. face mean to you as opposed to the :l face?

I see the :3 face as being very different from the other two, but the :l face seems like a combination of ._. and :3

...

Really?

You know, I'm actually kinda glad that you use it.

It's a rather nice mantra, in my opinion.

Irony

my father calls me his little hummingbird. XD

Well, maybe it's all the work. A friend of mine also took my lack of time personally and kinda got mad at me for being busy all the time. :/

And yeah.. But I think I'm too blunt about it.

:c

And no.

Well.

Maybe.

Soon.

Someday.

:I
