The medics took Midnight off Tehengu's hand, quickly doing a check on the girl. Thankfully she had only a mild concussion and 2 broken ribs, nothing that couldn't be fixed.

The faunus would spend only about 10 minutes in surgery to have her ribs fixed up, since the damage wasn't fatal and the coughing of blood had occurred due to one of the ribs scratching her throat and causing it to bleed. After her surgery, the faunus was lying in a bed, her left arm exposed as her shirt and coat was torn open. She had her eyes closed and she talking slow deep breaths, and in her left hand, she was running her finger over and around her pendent.

Xiêyè simply gave Glynda a look as she asked them not to kill each other. He knew what sparring was, he had done plenty of it during his training. He watched as his opponent unveiled her weapon, a large sword. Swords seemed to be a favorite around here. Not that he was in any position to talk on that front.

The male didn't draw any of his blades yet, watching her carefully for a moment before launching forward with speed that was surprising considering his apparel. At some point during the charge he had drawn two of the blades, one in each hand. He went for a leg sweep while also delivering slashes towards her chest from opposite sides.

-----

Tehengu sat next to Midnight's bed, watching her idly trace the pendant she wore with her fingers. It seemed she had looked worse than she had been, and he could only really hope the other mare was as lucky.

Ever so slowly, Midnight sat up and looked over at Tehengu. Part of her was surprised to see him sitting there, although, if she thought about it, there is no where else she wanted him to be but at her side.

"I'm sorry" she says softly breaking the silence in the room "That was...a scrappy fight by me, I shouldn't have let it get that far"

Aisha found herself back in a familiar place. Inside a social watering hole within her home town of Anthal. She could remember being here because it was where her and her friend had gone many a time before. She sat there for a while, sipping on some water as she recollected what had happened.

Behind her lay two dozen broken men. All human. Blood adorned her knuckles and face. She could remember it now.

Her friend Aura dawn was one of the only faunuses that lived in this city with her. She had the most beautiful eyes and had long fox ears. Her eyes were a sterling silver. Her long flowing hair the same.

Ever since she was 2 she liked her. Loved her like a sister. Her parents and she having grown  close to them.

She could remember playing games. Learning together. She could also remember every day they would come here. She was always there even when her family had either passed away or moved off. She never even got a goodbye in most cases. This lead to her moving in with aura. Sleeping on a couch wasn't luxury. But she didn't care! It was her best friend.

She sipped her water

That was until today. You see, the humans of this town were ignorant. Savage. They liked to pick on her and her friend. The duo would endure many harsh names. Even eggs and other discustjng things being tossed at them. Aisha didn't care. She had aura......

Then..... She came here tonight..... Having had a rough day all she wanted to do was relax. Tell with her only friend. When she walked in.... She saw her fall to the floor. A group of human men had approached aura. Made fun of her...... Then proceeded to beat her..... Thy git too rough it seemed as her neck had made a sickly snap before she fell.

Aisha watched her whole world crumble then and there. Her friend, her family! Her aura..... Her body exploded into a bright silver energy and she was gone.........

Aisha could only see red. She grabbed her shield. It wasn't as advanced as it was present day but she still had one For he Grimm.... She only used it to protect herself. Now it was a instrument of destruction.

They tried to explain it was an accident. They begged for their lives. The faunus didn't care. She killed them, each and every one. She hated humans. She wanted to break every single one till they were no more! How could they take her away!?!?

It lasted severely minutes. And when their screams died off she found herself satisfied. She had sat down and drank.

Her glass set down and she exhaled. She wasn't done. She hated everyone here. Everyone didn't do anything to prevent this!!! They all had to pay.

Picking up her shield she headed outside. The next day consisted of her destroying the little town.

She then left with the gates busted open. Leaving the rest of the town at the mercy of the Grimm who heard the screams and rushed past her. She walked off into the night.

Then she woke up. Her eyes opening as she stared up at the ceiling. "Nnnnnghhhh." Was all she could mutter. A look of soreness on her face.

Ellie stood and waited for the man to move, which he did when he ran towards her. He was fast, but so were Elllie's eyes. Her semblance alone would be enough to finish this man in minutes, but that would be such a hassle. Plus, she didn't her pay this week! She wants her dried squid and cola!

Seeing the man aim for her feet, she planted her sword into the ground and did a back flip over her sword, using it's pommel for support. Ellie then crouched behind her sword to block the man's strikes before swinging around it and launching herself at him, using her momentum to pull out her sword and strike at him from above.

Xiêyè followed her movements with his eyes, frowning as she avoided both attacks and followed it up with one of her own. He moved to the side while also using one blade to divert the strike away and cause her sword to hit the ground. His other sword stabbed towards her body and he jumped to deliver a kick to her head.

Tehengu sighed slightly as Midnight spoke, apologizing to him.

"It's fine, Midnight, it's the mare's fault too. Still, you're right that the fight should not have gone that far." He said, looking at her.

He was right and she knew it. That fight, she shouldn't have dropped her guard at the end, which was now the reason she was lying down injured. She should have, instead of taking the charge, dived to the side. At the time she was driven by instinct and the only option was 'dodge and kill' or 'catch the charge'. Now that the Faunus had time to think it over, she should have just leap out of the way of her opponent. She returned Tehengu's look, smiling weakly, although her cheeks don't blush, mostly because of the blood she'd lose.

"W-well, I guess that's a lesson I won't forget anytime soon...best way to learn a blade is sharp or a bullet hurts, is to experience it first hand. I'll make sure to get out of that girls way next time"

The man knocked her sword away so that it hit the ground instead of her opponent. Ellie dodged his sword by balancing on top of her sword again before landing back on her feet and using her sword to stop his foot from reaching her face. "He pushed me back a little, impressive. But I can't keep dodging or it'll be boring, I need to look like a student even in battle too." she thought.

She then pushed against his foot to try throw him off balance, followed by a series of slashes before planting her sword in the ground again and swinging around it to kick his chest.

Xiêyè spun with the push, letting it push him back to avoid the follow-up attack. He turned to face her again as the kick came, and he dodged around it to slash at her leg and stab at her chest with the other.

Tehengu smiled back at her slightly, resting his hand on hers gently as he sat next to her bed. She was going to be fine, that was good. He was glad for that.

"Hmph, I can't let you do that. These boots were 200 lien!" Ellie thought, quickly lifting her sword to block his attack. She then used her sword flip back onto her feet and paused for a moment. "Okay, here we go" she thought, sword up for big swing a started running towards her opponent. She spotted a crack in the ground from the previous fights, purposely stuck her heel into it and face-planted onto the floor.

Xiêyè paused for a second as the girl faceplanted during her charge towards him. Really? She tripped? She seemed much to agile to actually fall over from something like that, but he couldn't pass up the chance. He threw both swords so they would pin her arms down by her sleeves if she didn't move, then approached quickly with his third sword drawn, ready for her counter.

With some passing time Aisha had gotten her bearings. Having been dosed with enough sedative and stimulant to boost her aura. She slowly and surely sat up. Giving a hard wince as she did so.

Her fingers moved slowly to the side controls and she moved her bed into an upright position. Laying back a bit to sit up with its help.

"Ughhhhhh...." She whispered before glancing to silver. Her eyes shutting between red and blue. "That fight..... Shouldn't have happened....."

Andrea grabbed the bandages and began applying some to her arms and legs. " Calm down, calm down. It's just a few cuts. I'll live. I'm probably okay. "

When she finally finished up her bandaging, Andrea gave Slashs head a pat as thanks before looking up at the battle and noticing that things had gotten pretty intense and that it took Tehengu getting in there to stop it. " Wow Glynda, good thing we have you here.... " Looking down at Midnight specifically, Andrea cringed a little at how beaten she looked. " I guess the fight was a close one? Hope she's alright.... " she said, watching her be taken away.

Sitting back down on her Slash seat, Andrea looked back into the arena as the new contestants entered the arena. " Oh? Hello, Who's that? " Andrea had noticed one of the contestants, Elizabeth she called herself. " Would you look at her. " Andrea intently watched Elizabeth fight paying attention to every move she was doing, something about her had Andrea enamored . Turning back to Slash, Andrea asked " Hey, are you watching this? This is really good. " Looking at the field again, Andrea continued to watch the battle, catching the hole that Ellie tripped in. But instead of being disappointed,  Andrea was pretty sure she saw it for what it was. Well played.

"I believe you" Slash smiled, purring as he was patted by Andrea. He had also just noticed that the battle had gotten out of hand, frowning at the severely injured huntresses. "I hope so too. They're now both sauerbraten and mayaa no Ushiru...sorry that was insensitive". His attention was directed to the huntress that just volunteered to fight in the arena. He widened his eyes, immediately recognizing her. That blonde hair, those blue eyes, that sword...there's no way he's mistaken. Slash gulped, keeping quiet as he watched her fight the armoured hunter. "I am. She really is good" Slash said, furrowing his eyebrows. Andrea seemed to be impressed, she and the other people in the audience are the first to watch her and live. She does seem to be holding back though, Slash was still not sure why she was. Suddenly she tripped, Slash almost exploded an artery watching that. He picked up Andrea and stood up, gritting his teeth as he played back the scene in his head. "YOU DING DONG! GOOFBALL! STUPID!" he yelled, sitting back down and putting Andrea back on his lap.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Heheh, no sleeves" Ellie thought, knocking the swords away as she rolled away from the man, flipping back onto her feet. She charged after the man again, hoping that he doesn't have any more weapons. Using the flat side of her sword, she pushed it against his stomach, bringing the sword and hopefully the man with it over her head to throw him onto the ground. Ellie heard a familiar voice yell from the crowd, gritting her teeth as she yelled back, "SHUT IT SCRUFFY!". She continued to fight, striking at the man faster before getting low for a leg sweep followed by her sword in case he jumped. If he managed to avoid both her leg and her sword, Ellie would strike upwards at him to throw him off balance.

"Gāisî de." He said to himself, cursing his mistake. Well, it was too late to fix that now. As she rolled away, he took the opportunity to pick up the sword she knocked closest to him. As she charged, he moved to the side to avoid it, blocking the follow-up strikes by diverting them.

Then came the leg sweep, making him jump into the air and leaving him unable to dodge the sword swing, so instead he used his blades to block it, the swing hitting the bottom of them and sending him into a roll over her sword. He landed on his feet and wasted no time in delivering slash after slash at her midsection. He was slashing faster than she had, due to the weight of the weapons. Interspersed through his assault was stabs and kicks to help drive her back towards the wall near his third blade so he could retrieve it.

Tehengu looked at Midnight as she spoke, making him frown for a moment. He simply responded by staying where he was and grabbing her hand tighter.

Andrea continued watching with excitement. The match was just getting better and better, and Andrea was getting more and more enthralled with this Ellie character. Andrea was completely concentrated on this match, that was, until Slash Exploded in frustration and picked her up before yelling out some choice words and putting her back down " Wow, talk about some colourful language. And aren't you getting a little to invested? " Andrea turned back toward the arena right on time to hear Ellies response to Slash. Scruffy. Huh. Momentarily being distracted, Andrea began imagining what Slash would look like with various degrees of stubble and five o'clock shadow. Snapping herself out of it, Andrea said " Wow, that's a weird thought.

Midnight laughed slightly, a huffing noise, as Tehengu refused to budge an inch. Slowly she tightened her grip on her pendant, a reminder of, everything. Slowly she sat herself up, and shook her head "Go, you need to have at least one match or you'll fail, and i'm not letting you fail because of me...now up, and do your match..."
