  1. Cherry took some comfort from Sherlock's reassurance, still holding on to his tail. The ghosts had her jarred visibly, but she would troop on. The guide pony heard Sherlock's comment and chuckled, turning to him. "You think this is a trick, then? Well now...what did the portraits tell you as you studied them, Mister Hooves?" She asked, turning to smile wickedly at Cherry. She could tell the filly was frightened and she was pleased to see her standing firm. Scared as she was, that little filly had a cartfull of courage.
  2. I liked this episode...wasn't as good as last week, but Princess Luna did make me laugh. That said, I'm glad she turned out like I expected...Kinda scary still, but all in all, a good Princess. My story remains secure! Seeing the CMC in their costumes made me grin too. Hail the 1930's era classic Monster Movies...and woo-hoo for seeing Derpy! Wonder when she'll get some lines?
  3. http://tvovermind.za...returning/61178 Amy and Rory will NOT be returning next season. Speculation is that yes, River Song will be the companion, but who knows? Maybe Captain Jack Harkness will come back? Anyway, Season Six isn't all bad...yeah, some episodes weren't all that, but I do love the second half of the season (and A Good Man Goes to War...that was pretty interesting by way of revelations). We won't know any more about the series until Christmas at the earliest, though.
  4. Cherry looked over the paintings intently, spying several off things about them. She smiled inwardly, hoping that she could point them out to Sherlock later. One painting in particular bothered her, it's eyes seeming to move if the painting wasn't being watched. She figured that the exit lay behind that painting and that somepony was watching the group in an attempt to scare them more. "I know there's something there...whatever it is, I won't be scared...I have to face these foalish fears sooner or later!" she thought, waiting for whatever came next.
  5. Dracula (1931), Thor (2011), and the Lord of the Rings series. Dracula: Bela Lugosi is the. Best. Dracula. Ever. Thor: A movie about my God? Duh. Lord of the Rings series: I'm a geek. What do you expect?
  6. Welcome! Why hide it at all? Image is only important to those that deem it to be so.
  7. Cherry saw Sherlock's pose and giggled a bit, nudging him along. "Just so we're clear...no monsters'll get me as long as I stay beside you....so...that means...I'm gonna have to...hold...your...tail!" She smiled, gently grabbing the bottom of Sherlock's tail in her teeth. As long as she didn't scream again, she should be fine. "Now...We will be arriving soon to the studio where mister Poeny did his work. Look closely at the paintings on the walls...they'll be your only clue how to escape should something happen to me." The guide pony said, noticing Cherry holding on to Sherlock. She smiled and nodded their way. "Those two have a good idea...take the tail of the pony you trust most. If you get separated...I can't help you, I'm afraid." She said, glad that the couple had done what she was planning on instructing.
  8. Thank you Skye! It decided to agree then.
  9. I'm having a similar problem...Correct password is entered, but it says bad password and shuffles me back to the log-in...I can't connect to the IRC at all, except directly through Mibbit.
  10. Cherry screamed when the vampony appeared, resisting the urge to run as she stood rooted to the spot. How long was it before she heard the guide pony's screams, she didn't know but as the lights came back on, another mare stood before them. "Oh...oh...wh-where'd she go?" She asked softly, looking around the room for any trace of their prior guide. The new guide mare spoke up, her voice altered by a spell. "Well, now...that was entertaining. That poor mare...Oh, did you think that we guides were safe too? Hardly...in fact...we should be moving along before something else decides that we make a good snack..." She said simply, going to the stairs. She turned and smiled wickedly at the group, counting heads silently before chuckling. "I see that the monsters here already got several of this group...I wonder if any of you will make it out alive?"
  11. Cherry gave a tiny 'eep' of surprise when the vampony jumped out, already starting to tremble slightly. She cuddled up closer to Sherlock's side without tripping him up, hoping that the shock at the beginning would be all she had that night. The doors shut with an audible *click* as the inside lock engaged. The tour pony came out, her voice eerie as she greeted the group. "Welcome, welcome everypony to the House of Edgar Allen Poeny...Here, you will find the things that tormented his every waking hour, haunted his nighmares and possibly drove him to his demise. Please remember that anything here can and will try to separate you all! It is my duty to keep everypony here safe, but I cannot guarantee that everypony will come out at all...If you'll follow me, I shall lead you into the Parlor..." She said, walking among the group as she spoke.

    jobs?

We all want to work at Gamestop or something, in reality....I mean hello, paid to play games? Too bad they want gaming experience for FPS which I don't play at all.
  13. Cherry blushed, nuzzling against Sherlock's side in a poor attempt to hide it. "Th-thank you. You're the first pony I've told that to outside of my family..." She stated, finally looking at Sherlock. Her heart swelled, beating rapidly against her chest as they got closer to the doors. As long as he was by her side, there was no way that she could be scared...right?
  14. Cherry jumped when Sherlock spoke, squeaking as she whirled to face him. "Oh, Sherlock! You scared the jeepers outta me! You look wonderful." She beamed, trying to cover up her squeak. She nuzzled him in greeting, prepared to walk inside. "Don't be surprised if I happen to...jump on you...I...I used to be the filly with the monsters under her bed and in my closet..." She whispered, confiding in Sherlock that this place truly frightened her.
  15. The white pegasus stood at the entrance to the Haunted House, her Juliet costume working out as best it could. Her blue eyes scanned the crowds coming and going around the attraction, a touch of fear in them. She was usually brave, but this was the one time of year she always dreaded. Her sisters usually protected her from the monsters that other ponies disguised themselves as, but this year was different. She had a stallionfriend to ask, and her twin had decided to spend her time elsewhere. Not that she was scared! No, not this filly, not at all! She was just...nervous. She made sure her costume fit properly and that her cutie mark was still covered before pacing where she stood. Why wouldn't she? She wasn't patient, and she had decided to do this...she just didn't want to do it alone. The pink and red mane fell into her eyes for a second before she brushed away the strands in agitation. "Where are you, my Romeo? I really, really don't want to go in alone...for that matter, why can't there be a group of us? Safety in numbers and the like..." She muttered softly, shivering as she imagined going in alone. She had very nearly lost her nerve then!
  16. Shuppet! They're one of the cutest Ghost types ever...
  17. I'm reading Centaur Isle by Piers Anthony on my Kindle and The War of the Flowers by Tad Williams in book format...and that second novel is really hard to get into, but once you get in...well, it's a fantastic book.
  18. 20: Attempting to have any sort of coitus in a creepy forest is a guaranteed way to die. 21: Taking a class assignment and actually doing what the assignment says to will not only affect the changes you've been told to make, but also end up killing you. 22: It's ok to call the bad guy names even though s/he is more than likely right behind you. 23: Not knowing your best friend's history is a surefire way to realize that he is most likely a sociopath.
  19. How long til Chapter Four? So far, I see no problems with spelling or grammar (my nitpicks in fanfics is the spelling and grammar issues!) and I love how you ponified the curse words. There are none visible, which makes this great for kids to read (sorta. The violence isn't geared for kids, but that's the least of the problems and it's definitely an element of intrigue!)
  20. 15: When your pets are reanimated due to some sort of magical Indian burial ground, it's ok to become a graverobber and bury your dead kid there... 16: When your dead son comes back from the grave and becomes a mass murderer, it's ok to kill him and repeat the process with the loved one he just killed. 17: If you're raised in a tower with no doors and only one window, it's ok to hit an intruder with a cast-iron frying pan. 18: If you are taught to sing by a voice that has no source, it's ok to defy it's demand for obedience and accept the proposal of a man you haven't seen in over a decade.

    jobs?

I'm a cashier...but soon, I'll be giving up that life of taking the guff from everypony that gives it, using the phrase 'kill them with kindness' without mercy and taking up the role of navigator for a trucker then becoming one myself.
  22. Cherry frowned at first when Sherlock settled in beside her, quickly getting an idea and smiling. She once again rested her head on his chest, sighing happily. "Your heartbeat is comforting...and...I like it..." She said softly, sleep trying once again to claim her. She was fighting though, trying desperately to stay up with Sherlock.
  23. Cherry smiled, nuzzling against Sherlock's chest. "You could always stay til I fall asleep...though that could be a while..." She murmured, the sound of his heartbeat already starting to lead her back to sleep. She peeked up at him and snuggled closer, enjoying his company after the nightmares that had woken her up.
  24. Cherry looked up as Sherlock burst into the room, trying to stop herself from crying. When he held her, she cuddled against him and let all the fear go. She slowly stopped crying, resting her head on his chest for a moment before answering his question. "I..I think I'll be ok...Did...did I break the lamp?" She asked, nervous that her nightmares had caused any kind of destruction. She nuzzled one of his hooves, feeling the smile spread despite her tears. "Sherlock...thank you for coming to my aid..." She murmured, knowing that she wouldn't be going back to sleep again for several more nights.
  25. Cherry drifted as Sherlock helped her to bed, giving him a quick kiss before falling asleep. She tossed and turned, the darkness of her dreams finally penetrating the rest she had been so desperate to achieve. She witnessed as Orange was beaten, left bloody and bruised. She tried desperately to go to the crying mare but found she was unable to move. Then she felt it, that dread that always started right before... CRASH! She awoke screaming, the tears falling freely as she cried. She tried to find the lamp, but couldn't. Perhaps she had broken it as she dreamed.
