It has to do more with the fact that I don't have a job, and I'm currently living off of my roommate.

I can't say I know what that's like, though for what it's worth I hope you manage to find work soon.

I'm in a similar situation, but minus the anxiety and alcohol. The very first thing I suggest is to take whatever measures not to turn to alcohol, because that stuff can be dangerous as heck. Not to mention a pointless waste of money more often than not.
