Cloudfeather chuckled at Windy's acknowledgement of her own amazingness. "Face it! You're an inspiration to everypony who knows your name! Look at all the great things these ponies have recognized you for! Charities, performances, giving them hope! You're amazing and that's that." What Windy said about the standard of living in Las Pegasus made sense to her. She had been to several large cities and didn't feel any of them would be very good places to live. She hadn't even been able to handle herself in Canterlot when she had lived there, though that was arguably more the fault of her clutzy flying than the city's environment. She couldn't imagine trying to live in a city with lots of tall buildings to smack into. Cloudsdale was perfect for her. Not much to distract her and soft structures perfect for catching inattentive fliers. "Well if you're ever in Cloudsdale, feel free to look me up! I've been recruited to help set up for Wonderbolts shows (y'know, since I'm a cloud-making expert [she winked playfully at this]), so I'm sure I could be helpful if you ever need a stage or hoops or anything! Well, ok, not really recruited... more like I won a sort of company lottery? They're doing a show in Canterlot in a couple months, and they special ordered some clouds, which means getting staff to set them up, and even though they usually hire local pegasi for that job, this time they asked for factory personal, so I signed up, and I was one of the ponies selected! So I get to go to Canterlot in a few months to help set up a show! So then, I guess I kind of lied because I've never done it before... Well, not yet anyway. But I'm sure setting up will give me lots of experience so I can help if you need a hand!" None of that probably made any sense. Great. She kept smiling to try and hide her embarrassment as she finally decided on the salad she wanted.

That's super cool! I'm graduating with my associate's in Liberal Arts at the end of this summer, so that makes me a little jealous hahaha Good for you!! That's really awesome!! Oooooh Do let me know when he/she's up! I'd love to do some RP!

Cloudfeather trotted in behind Wind and looked up at the items on the menu. They certainly didn't look bad... and the prices were low! Perfect! The pony at the counter greeted them as Cloudy came up, and she responded after looking at Wind for a moment. "Well, I don't know about my friend here, but I'm hungry as a horse! I could eat a whole bucket of apples!" She giggled a little before looking up at the chalk board. "Hm... What are your lunch specials like?" she said, contemplating the menu items.

Pleased to meet you! Wow! you're studying aircraft maintenance?? That's so cool!!! What level of degree are you looking to get? And do you have a specific company in mind you want to work for? As I've been rewatching the series, I have to agree. Rainbow Dash is probably the best hahaha She's at least 20% cooler than anyone else in the cast ; P Great to meet you! Cloudy was about to answer Windy's question about how she was enjoying Las Pegasus, when she mentioned her father, Water Wing. "Oh of course I know Water Wing! Well, ok, I've met him once or twice. I've only worked on water machines a couple times when friends needed shifts off. He's pretty nice from what I remember! Certainly helps keep the factory going! But I can't say I know much about him other than that he works with the water. I'll have to find him when I go back to work and let him know I met his amazing daughter! He must be so proud of you! "And I'm enjoying Las Pegasus a lot! I mean, I had collected a bunch of travel brochures, so I had an idea of what my trip was going to look like, but I never imagined I'd end up spending the day with a celebrity!! I mean, how cool is that?? No disappointment from me!" Cloudy realized she was probably talking too much again and went back to choosing a salad. Bad move. Windy immediately thought something was wrong. Ugh! Cloudy was such an easy pony to read sometimes. "Of course! Just checking out the salad options hahaha! Oh! I'm so rude! I'm sorry! What is your overall impression of Las Pegas--" she stopped short, remembering Windy lived here, or at least came here for extended periods of time to perform. "Er, um, nevermind" she blushed and giggled embarrassedly.

Cloudy looked around as they strolled down restaurant row, noting the high ratings of each restaurant. Expensive. She was relieved when Wind stopped at a restaurant with no horseshoes and suggested they try it out. "Looks good to me! After you!" She opened the door and then followed Wind through it.

Wow! This is my third question post here! Hahaha Ok, so I know in the FAQs it mentions awards below people's posts, but I don't see those below posts, I see them listed on people's profiles. What I do see beneath people's posts are images, gifs, or phrases that are apparently called "signatures," which sounds pretty cool! Is there a specific rank you have to be to get a signature, is it awarded, or am I just not looking hard enough for the place I'm supposed to type/upload it? Roleplay Type: WoE Name: Lunar Dash Gender: Male Age: Stallion Species: Areion Eye colour: Pale green Coat: Dark tan (a couple shades darker than Doctor Whooves), except for his wings, which are black Mane/Tail: Black, wing-like fins (standard for canon areion) Physique: Athletic, but not bulky. Fairly average for a pegasus stallion with a rounded jaw and muzzle Residence: Moonbeam Valley Occupation: Member of the Shooting Stars, a flight demonstration squadron Cutie Mark: Three stars shooting in the same direction (the top is small, the middle is large, and the bottom is smaller than the top). He received it at the Conclave when he and some of the other foals decided to race. He always knew he was a proficient flier, but that night, he flew faster and harder than he ever had. At the point designated to be the finish line, he arrived in first place just as some members of the Shooting Stars were passing. Impressed with his speed, they gave him a “Junior Shooting Star” pin. His heart swelled with pride and his cutie mark appeared. Unique Traits: Lunar Dash is a skilled flier. He is good at maneuvering in tight situations as well as fast cross-country flying (which most aerial ponies struggle with). History: Lunar Dash was born outside Equestria in a relatively small town called Luna’s Hollow, which was named, like many areion settlements, after the princess who was banished. From a young age, he looked up to the Shooting Stars, who were based out of a rather large settlement called Moonbeam Valley. They performed each year at the Conclave, and he looked forward to the show every year. They day he was given his pin, he vowed to become a member one day. He worked hard at flying, taking on a job as a mail pony to supplement his income. He practiced flight maneuvers on his routes, and tried to set record times to beat. His final record was 76 hours to complete his entire route, including 16 settlements, each spaced a fair distance from one another. From this, he became a skilled distance flier. From timing his individual routes within the settlements, he became a speedy and skilled short-distance flier. After a stellar audition, he became a Shooting Stars understudy, and as a result moved to Moonbeam Valley. As an understudy, he learned the the choreography for Star Spangle, one of the official Shooting Stars. In the event that Star Spangle couldn’t perform, Lunar Dash would take his place. This only happened twice: once when the stallion caught a particularly bad case of the flu a week before a performance, and once when he took time off for a funeral. Other than that, Lunar remained on the sidelines. He got his big break when Star Spangle finally retired, handing his position off, as was customary, to his understudy — in this case Lunar Dash. When princess Luna returned, a special Conclave was held to welcome her back (one she personally attended). After their performance, each Shooting Star was able to meet the Princess personally. They also performed at her welcome home party. Now, he flies at more than just Conclaves, but also at airshows in Aquellia and Equestria. Because areions still face some discrimination for their appearance and association with the night and Nightmare Moon, he is actively trying to prove his worth as a flier to pegasi, namely by promoting the Shooting Stars as well as trying to become the first areion Wonderbolt. He has yet to even make the reserves due to his natural sleep schedule and difficulty with daytime flying. Character Personality: Lunar Dash is competitive and hotheaded. He’s confident in his abilities and though he isn’t the top pony on the squadron, he likes to think he is. He’s a great at teamwork and can be serious when he needs to be. He aspires to be a Wonderbolt not because he looks up to them, but rather to prove to Equestria the viability of areions. Because of their fearful appearance, nocturnal nature, and reverence of Luna, they are often feared, which makes them the target of some discrimination. He hopes to end that. Character Summary: Lunar Dash is a cocky aviator with the skills to put his money where his mouth is. He has worked hard to prove he is a better flier than most arieons, and now he hopes to prove that he is better than most pegasi as well. He wants to make his mark on the world as a top-level athlete, and each night he gets closer to that goal.

This pony clearly knew more about Canterlot than she did, which honestly didn't come as a surprise to her. Though she had lived here for nearly a year, she hadn't eaten out much, and as forgetful as she was, she could barely remember where aunt's house was, let alone specific restaurants or buildings. "Sounds good to me! Lead the way!" she responded. "Oh, and don't trip!" She gave a playful wink to finish the statement.
