Unusual may be a term that carries bad connotations with it in this context. Uncommon might be the more appropriate one, though I imagine I'm speaking semantics and that's probably what you meant in the first place.

I imagine it's either way. While there certainly seems to be gender roles observed, some being natural, they aren't as pronounced and they aren't socially enforced. So I think this would be whoever speaks up first.

Well... now that I've seen the S6 Finale preview... it looks like I may end up being right. There might just end up being material and inspiration from Final Fantasy XIII-2 (13-2) in the finale. So... I'll be starting another temporary blog thing counting down to the episode... with FF 13-2 material of course. Look forward to that I guess? =/
