  1. Ok. Operating system: Windows 7 Browser: Internet Explorer 9 Flash: 11(Just downloaded it one more time to make sure it's ok) I'll try today and see if it works.
  2. Ok, so after Canterlot.com moved to its new server, I've been unable to upload and art. When I upload it, it keeps looking its ready to finish so I can move on to the review phase, but nothing happens. I tried to use bout ways to upload, but both don't work. All my pics are jpg and created on GIMP, not sure if that affects anything. (It didn't with my previous art uploads) Anyway, can anypony help to see how I can get my new pics on here? Thanks!
  3. I think I will be making an account to archive stories I like and to add some of my own.
  4. The Return of Harmony was a dark point, seeing the characters show their opposite personalities. Although I wouldn't want to see that all the time, having a darker story would be ok. Perhaps the RD/ Scootaloo thing, or a breach of trust between one of the six, or not being able to help a pony which causes somepony to feel like a failure could be dark but not too dark themes. They can apeal to kids and adults alike.
  5. First episode - Winter Wrap Up First Song - Rainbow Dash You're Gonna Go Far Kid First Pony Clip - Rainbow Dash Laughing from Episode one First Song - Pinkie's Lie
  6. "Oh this is going to be so funtastical," Sweet Surprise said as she checked the the large room. Unfortunately she couldn't get a bigger place like at the castle, but this was good enough. She had always wanted to have a big party to showcase her and Mr. Cocoa's candy making ability. That's when she thought about: a chocolate themed party! Everything would be chocolate based. There would even be sculptures made of chocolate that could be auctioned off to ponies in the end. She and Mr. Cocoa helped set up the place with several round tables placed the middle of the room and several long tables that ran along the walls to have the chocolate treats placed as well as the chocolate sculptures. The best one was the model of the Canterlot Castle which was placed on the center table. All the tables were decorated with white tablecloths and candles floating in a vase of water in the center. The chocolates were laid out on silver plates in different designs. Now all Sweet Surprise had to do was open it up to every pony. She opened the door and stood in the threshold where several ponies stood. "Welcome to the Canterlot Chocolate Frolic everypony! Feel free to enjoy the wonderfull chocolaty treats and later I'll be auctioning off the chocolate sculptures. Soooo, have fun!"

    Valentine

For me it would be Twilight. Getting something would be a trick. A book would be an easy gift, but you'd run the risk of getting her one she already has. Maybe something related to the stars as she does like stargazing or something magical related.
  8. I think it would be nice to explore the bond between Celestia and Luna as besides being cameo characters their backstory is only explored through fanon. Maybe an episode could be where the two for a day decided to spend some time together in Ponyville, yet being that they're royalty it proves difficult.
  9. Well with Candence being released, I guess it was time to finally make Celestia white.
  10. In college I was a heavy metal DJ for three years. My DJ name was Metal Lord and my show was called The Silent Scream. I loved it, and it helped my even when I was done DJing to continue to listen to metal, preferably power metal.
  11. Hmm... well I have Apple Cinnamon there in Appleoosa. She's a singer and not much of a treasure hunter, but I can try to get her there.
  12. ...when you have decided to make a shipping fic featuring a canon and your OC. (um...heh...I'm working on one now) (*hides face in embarrasment*) ...when you go to a bakery and expect to see Pinkie Pie there. ...when you name the holidays by their pony equivilant. ...when while stuck in traffic you wish you could fly like a pegasus (guilty) ...when your fruit and vegetable intake consists mainly of apples and carrots (guilty)
  13. I have played on another RP board with a character who had a broken horn. Basically his power was weakened that he could barely do simple spells like telekinesis. I think it would limit the ability of a unicorn, just like a broken wing would cripple a pegasus temporarily. I believe that like a wing a horn can heal but under great magic to do so. As for magic, I believe each race has some magical affinity. Earth ponies have connection with the land and nature, pegasus ponies with the sky and elements, and unicorn with the more classical sense of magic like teleporting or telekinesis.
  14. Force him to listen to Justim Bieber for several hours straight. (That would be torture for me) Or just send Pinkie after him.

    Pinkie Pie Bouncy Hop

Yep. And if she can't bounce that high, she'll just tie some balloons on her.
  16. None really. I can't honestly say a background tops any of the mane six. I'm trying to be a librarian as a career. (Yes Rainbow Dash, I'm an egghead) I go to see a movie just about every week. My first cartoon series I watched without fail was the 1990s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If you could only meet one of the mane six, who would you meet?
  17. From the album: Lux's Gallery

Here we have Pinkie Pie doing her bouncy hop walk.

You are walking down a gritty city street. Passing by an alleyway, you see an unassuming cardboard box. Then you hear a noise soft like a dove cooing. The sound seems to be coming from inside the box. As you approach you see the box has writing on it. Free to a Good Home. Then as if noting your presence, she appears from the box, her shinging blue eyes staring at you, as if to say, "Please take me home with you." I had an idea for this while reading My Little Dashie. I thought that if it would be cool to find Rainbow Dash in a box like in the story, why not a Fluttershy? This piece took at least six hours. The problem wasn't Fluttershy or her box, but I kept trying to come up with a good city alley layout.
  19. What a good episode. As a writer/ avid reader, I hoped there would be an episode inspiring those to read. Favorite things: The Adventures of Daring Do. Nice choice of a character. Fits very well for Rainbow Dash's tastes. Then again, even the Daring Do character was a recolored RD. But I didn't see the huge stone ball from Indiana Jones. Pony Battleship! Hasbro, are you advertising a new boardgame? Ninja Rainbow Dash. You almost got the book without being noticed, but looks like it wasn't to be. The mane less pony. Is it that older ponies lose their mane (baldness) or was that guy sick? Rainbow Dash confessing that she liked to read. Congratulations, you went through the Stages of Acceptance! Rainbow Dash's room. So we've up until that point saw the inside of every other pony's place except hers. I wondered what a cloud house would look like from the inside. Now I know. And my RD has a big bedroom! Overall, this is one of my top episodes.
  20. Just read Hunger Games. I love that book, all the fast paced action that's happening. Now I have to read the other two in the trilogy.
  21. I love dark chocolate, peppermints, fudge, Twizzler, and Dum Dum Pops. I'm not a fan of caramels, cinnamon candy, or white chocolate.
  22. Update! Apparantly We Love Fine has added Derpy back. Behold! http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/02/derpy-returns-to-we-love-fine.html
  23. RP Type: World of Equestria Name: Fire Heart Age/Gender: Young Mare Race: Unicorn Eyes: Amber Yellow Coat: Red although often coated in white and black ash Mane/Tail: Orange that looks like flames Residence: Canterlot Occupation: Student at Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns. Cutie Mark: A Pink Heart with a flame inside it, representing her fire ability and her emotional personality. History: Fire Heart was born in Canterlot to her parents Warm Heart (father) and Fire Dancer (mother). Her father is a counselor, helping ponies with mental, emotional, and relationship problems. Her mother was a dancer who retired after having Fire Heart, preferring to be at home with her. Both of her parents are very loving to her and want to see her succeed. Although Fire Heart’s parents are loving to her, she was a target of bullies in school, possibly because she stood up for other ponies. Whatever the reason, this made her school life not very pleasant. One day while being provoked by a bully, who tormented her for years, she exploded in anger and her flame ability appeared, scaring the bully and almost burning him. She then received her cutie mark that day, after her teacher helped her to calm down. Although her parents celebrated her finding her ability, they were nervous at what might happen to Fire Heart and how she would fit in when she got older with her ability. Her school life changed greatly as while no bully ever teased her again, most of the ponies stayed away from her out of fear, leaving Fire heart a sad and lonely pony. While many other ponies celebrated their talents as gifts, Fire Heart saw hers as nothing but a curse. Sometimes she wished she had no magic as it would better for to be liked and have no magic than feared with magic. Recently, there was a ray of hope in her life when Fire Heart’s parents were able to enroll her into Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns. It is their hope, and Fire Heart’s, to have her learn how to control her ability and use it for a good purpose. Personality: Fire Heart is a very energetic pony, always seeming like she’s hyperactive. She is always moving and never wants to stay still unless forced to. She is a normally very happy and carefree pony. She also can become impatient when forced to wait, preferring things to happen quickly. She does have a fiery temper that appears when greatly provoked, which along with her fire ability can be dangerous. When she does calm down, she is very remorseful for using her fire ability. Fire Heart can manifest heat and fire around her body. The fire does not burn her as it’s not on her body but around it like a second skin. She also has limited projection of her fire (think a flamethrower), and its limited to a short range. She can’t create any projectiles like fireballs. Her ability, although powerful, severely lacks control, causing her to burst into flames unexpectedly. Her fire ability is tied to her emotions. When she’s calm or happy, she can control her flames, but when she’s very angry or extremely excited, her ability becomes uncontrollable. Intense cold also affects her more than other ponies. If she ventures out in the winter and stays out for long periods of time she will feel very uncomfortable and even pass out. Fire Heart wants to learn in school, to be able to control her powers, and to be able to make friends who will not be afraid of her.
  24. When you live close to an apple orchard and can't help but think seeing Applejack, Granny Smith, Big Mac, or Apple Bloom there. (Guilty as there is an orchard 15 minutes from my house.)
