Yet after a bit of thought and consideration it makes sense as the Ventrue are the more business oriented despite the face Applejack and her family really aren’t ‘leaders’.[/colour]

Your kiss would be like such, and I sought more than one.”[/colour] Sighing, knowing it was unlikely he would be able to salvage what he had hoped to gain he smiles at the mare and says, [colour=#4b0082]“and not I cannot even give you the kiss I had planned, one I feel you would enjoy as much as I would. One the apples I will figure out a way to get them to where I need to go, perhaps I can ask for something with wheels that I can pull with my magic and return it to you Miss Applejack? Rabukurafuto, thank you and I agree such a clan is perfect for Pinkie Pie. Though I do now ask that if you know Vampire the Masquerade well and if so could you offer any suggests on how to better mix the Six’s personality and their lives with that of their clans. Also I am still a bit unsure how to go about showing such powerful beings such as Celestia, Luna, and more importantly Discord. Since posting this I have actually considered Discord having brought about the Sabbat long ago to create conflict, chaos, and fear… also as a ‘take that’ to the order and stability of Camarilla, to show they are fools for trying to hide among mortal ponies. This is in addition to his connection to Clan Ravnos and Followers of Chaos.

My goal when putting this fanfiction idea together is to find a balance between the dark drama of Vampire the Masquerade with the lighthearted world of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. The roleplaying game is actually pretty grim, as even the vampires that are the protagonist struggle with what is called 'the beast' or 'the beast within' and it is much of a tooth and nail world. The clans of Camarilla, though aligned and working together to keep the deception of the Masquerade intact, at times see their allies poorly and struggle with their own problem or conflicts. I have decided, because of what such would represent, that each of the six will be of different houses which thankfully isn't too difficult. Yet by having the six be the vampires of the clans it will mean their personalities will be a bit darker. On the same note the dark drama of the roleplay will be lessened, as I wish to still stay true to the show to an extent. This will be interesting and challenging to say the least, which is why I ask all those that know the Vampire the Masquerade or are willing to learn of the roleplay help me figure out how to do this. I would be most grateful for any help I can get and what I currently have is below. Also there will still be the Elements of Harmony in this fanfiction though they may work a bit differently and it is because of these artifacts and the six vampires of the clans that used them that Luna was able to be torn from the grasp of her own 'beast within'. One thing I am sure you will also notice as well as there wont be any true family bonds, as only the Giovanni clan actually take from their own often incestuous family line... and lets just say there is a few reasons why Camarilla hates this clan and that is one of them. Most vampires that are sired are not related to the one that changed them into their undead state though I have played it that they still 'join the families' of their sire so to speak. Twilight Sparkle would be of Clan Tremere, as turned by a vampire that would become her mother who had adopted Twilight with her hunsband and raised her in preparation of what she would learn of Tremere. When she had gained the attention of her city's princess, and the most ancient of Camarilla's elders, she would become her student... despite the fact Celestia was a Ventrue. The reason for this was that Celestia was far more skilled in Thaumaturgy then most Tremere. This being mostly because of her age then anything else, thus being one that could teach her student many things especially the use of the power Presence, and the blood magics of her student's clan. Twilight has an insatiable thirst for knowledge, wishing to know all there is and a very logical mind which lend well to her great skill at magic. Pinkie Pie would be of Clan Malkavian, a true example of her clan as she does not always make sense and her insanity showing itself as an odd eccentrics and a surprising energy few could hope to match. Her greatest pleasure being to bring, at times confusing, excitement into the lives of those she meets and especially that of other kindreds. Her greatest skill being to cause others to laugh and to underestimate the abilities she possesses, all the while taking in what is going on around her and doing that which seems impossible... or so it seems. In truth it is because the special power of her clan Dementation is continuously in effect if to a minor degree, simply put the impossible things that happen when she is around is because of this power. Rarity would be of Clan Toreador, a vampire of great beauty and refinement a Toreador in every sense of the word that goes through her unlife working for there to be beauty all around her. Having been a fashion designer in life she continues such once being turned, growing to be in demand by those like her because of her skills. Yet her skills were not only in the cloth but in a social setting as well, truly knowing how to manipulate those around her and get what she wants out of the situation. Yet at the same time, secretly, she has shown what would surprise many to be a generous side that only those she trusts knows about and all others she waves it away as no big deal or suggests is for selfish reasons. Rainbow Dash would be of Clan Brujah, is hotheaded and brash much like other of her clan with of love of the extreme. Once a stunt flyer that did small shows in her town it was through this she gained the chance to meet fliers more skilled then herself who it turned out one was of the clan Brujah and she was turned into a vampire. Loving her new abilities and speed as a vampire she took to it better then many. Quick to violence she is also very loyal, and has a sense of honor that will allow her to be relied on despite her temper. She seems to care more about showing off and looking cool yet is willing to puts such aside if she needs to and is very good to have in a fight. Applejack would be of Clan Ventrue, having been turned by one she would come to call her brother and taken in by his family growing to eventually pretty much lead her new family's business. Known for keeping her words and her dealings honest with the kindred she always gives a fair yet profitable price. Having a strong will and hardheadedness that cases her house and others exasperation at times, yet her grasp of the rules and how to use them is second to none. She will help to make sure everything is in order and point out the flaws in what others say even if she does not lead, and it seems she has gained the strength know for by her family. Fluttershy would be of Clan Gangrel, being a true oddity among vampires and is considered too softhearted for unlife, making many wonder who sired. Her passion and skill for animals, the very thing that caused her to be turned her into a vampire by her sire, helped her to reforge the bond that had seemed lost with her animal compantions for becoming a monster. She is shy and reclusive to say the least but has over time grown used to her lot. She still likes to stay in the forest with her animal companions yet has learned how to involve herself in Camarilla's affairs and has, surprisingly for many, even become close to some of other vampires. Celestia and Luna would be of Clan Ventrue, both over 2000 years old and thus very powerful though for a very long time Luna had been imprisoned when she lost herself to the 'beast within' until her sister was able to finally find a way to bring her back to her senses and have her released from the beast. Many wondered why the eldest didn't just kill her, as was common for those that gave in and lost themselves to the beast but if she had there would be one less threat to any that thought to oppose the Camarilla and Equestria. It was also for other reasons, as it had been because of her sister that Celestia had not herself given into the beast and gone mad. Not only that but they were mutually blood bonded to the fullest degree, which in part is what lead Luna to fall to her darkness when her sister begin spending more time with and giving more attention to her subjects then to her. Now that Luna has returned though her older sister has shown her more affection then she could almost handle, in part because of how much Celestia missed her. Luna has had to learn to adapt to the changes that have come about since her return, and is currently be taught by her sister how to come to a state where she will not need to worry of her beast any longer. It has been spoken that Celestia has found Golconda, and for those that actually know more her search for such come after being forced to imprison her sister away when she gave into the beast. This actually is truth, which bring into question why this princess and elder has not left as most have that gained Golconda... but for all that know her it is because she truly does care about her subjects both vampire and mortal, being unwilling to leave for as long as they need her. It was on the return of her sister, after Luna was given release from the beast, that Celestia now helps her younger sister towards Golconda as well. Yet she has not only focused on herself and her sister but seeks to lead other vampires to this higher state as well... counting perhaps Twilight and the other Elements of Harmony. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- No one knows for sure where Discord came from though the princess connect him to the Clans Ravnos and Followers of Chaos (alternate version of Followers of Set), an extremely ancient vampire that even Celestia and Luna fear greatly. With no care but for his own and having perfected many of powers that a vampire can learn he seems at times to actually warp the land around him with his illusions and magics. Manipulative and deceptive he loves getting others to play his games at his terms. Working it so that he comes out on top and with the last laugh. He holds no love for his kindred or for the clans, let alone humans which he uses as mere playthings... though he often does the same for vampires as such there isn't much difference.

Mythos smiles warmly at the mare before saying with a nod, "Yes, five bits to a bushel." Looking over the mare he says with a grin, "any chance by buying more then a bushel I could get two kisses." He says with partly in jest and his voice suggested as much but his face was also serious if cheerful as he continues, "I do not feel a single kiss will give justice to such a lovely mare as yourself... yet I am fine with only one if that is what you wish." The stallion holds out 20 bits with his hoof, offering them to her if she wished to have them. He look like a friendly sort, but his matters and request might at least suprised Applejack.

Yes and I technically voted for the Solar Empire yet in truth both are actually wrong. Also it was on the rails when we were discussing Celestia and Luna... as what are the Solar Empire and Lunar Republic but the fans creating a civil war in their support of the favorite princess?

On that note I pick the Guardians of Harmony, the group that refuses to see Equestria divided and know that the land can only stand if there is Harmony and Love... all the more shown by the season 3 pilot.

There is a big difference between simply having a sense of humor and liking to play jokes from time to time... and being a troll that incites anger and conflict. Ones that love having a good laugh at others expense and don't care about others feelings. They just want to have a good laugh and fun. Discord is a troll, Celestia is not.

For me one of the funniest and the funnest fanfictions I have read was a Solar Empire and New Lunar Republic fanfiction where the sisters had a water balloon fight.

Yes, true enough but the point is some fans complain she isn't interesting enough for them, that she is too perfect when in truth you can easily make her interesting without her being a tyrant or a troll or bad/evil in any way. That 'somehow' Equestria would be better if Celestia stepped down, allow her sister to take over, or make Equestria a democracy. She is supposed to be different, more 'perfect' even, yet perhaps there is good reason for such as you have said yourself. She does what she does not so much because she likes doing it much it is expected of her. She has ruled Equestria better then any president has ruled the USA, (especially Obama, whose answer to a problem is to throw money at it and hope it goes away... sighs, he shouldn't have gotten a second term) and perhaps your right the mask shouldn't come off

She was the supreme ruler of her country, now again sharing that power with her sister, and cares deeply about her land and her subjects. As High Queen and Mare Wearing the Queenly Mask type figure (tv tropes) she is beautiful yet also clever, strong-willed and charismatic. She leads her people through her cunning and force of her personality, adhering to protocol and making it work for her despite how frustrating it can be at times. She has even gone out of her way to finding ways around protocol. Her sense of mischief being one of the way she does so. She has her student send her friendship reports at least in part because she wishes to see how normal ponies interact with each other, and also holds so close to her the relaionship she has with her student. She must always present herself perfectly, speak perfectly, be perfectly calm, never falter, never show "weakness". She must think of and counter every possible threat to her kingdom. In fact, she cannot act like like other ponies nor have normal relationships as other ponies insist on treating her differently. There are times she just wishes to relax and have friendly conversations and interactions, to have a little fun. She isn't 'perfect' by choice but because that is what everypony expects of her and in a 1000 years she has perfected the 'act' of being perfect and training herself to be nearly as great as ponies thing she is. ---------------------------------------- So with that, with just a bit of thought, one can actually give Celestia a lot of depth and perhaps even make her more interesting the Luna. You just need to take what is canon and get creative with it. Fans have done so in the past with background ponies so it 'should' be easy for Celestia. To be honest I would love to read a fanfiction with the above, where this 'mask' is forced to be taken off, where her act at being 'perfect' is broken causing her sister, her student, and even perhaps her subjects to see that she really isn't so different then they are. That she has fears, uncertainties... that she can suffer from selfish desires and wants. That through having this mask taken off she comes to realize she doesn't have to pretend anymore, and those around her accept her despite not being perfect.

Mythos was coming up next and he found the exchange between the princess and the earth pony farmer to be most interesting indeed… especially the second kiss which he enjoyed very much as he had never been a stallion that disliked two mares kissing nor the chance to actually see one of the princesses kiss someone. He did wonder how his interaction with Princess Luna would go, as it seemed she was a mare with high standard in both food and kissing. The gray stallion turned his eyes away from the princess after she walked away from the stand to the young colt he had spoken with before, Guiding Light was his name, and his eagerness to kiss the mare and her keeping him back to explain it would seem for him to hold his horses but also to explain the passion of the second kiss between her and the princess. He tilted his head at her words, seeing that he and her saw the act of kissing a pony differently. Mythos saw kissing as an expression that you like and enjoy the company of a pony, even if they are not your special somepony. For good or for bad to Mythos kissing a mare was much like shaking a pony’s hoof in many ways. Finally Mythos realized it was his turn and he walked up to the mare and bows deeply saying, [colour=#4B0082]“I must say my time in line has been most interesting, yet I am glad to finally meet for myself such a lovely and respectable farm mare. If I remember correctly it is 5 bits a barrel... plus a kiss correct?”[/colour] Mythos smiles warmly at the mare before him considering not only her appearance but also what she had said and done since he had joined the line.

Yet eventually he looked up and saw to his interest the princess trying and apple and seeming to not enjoy the taste and asking for another apple to try. This actually surprised him as from what he had heard the Apple family apples… such an amusing thought if a bit redundant, were the best in Equestria.[/colour] [colour=#222222]Mythos took from his pack an notepad, gaining an idea for a story from the situation in which he jotted down involving apples becoming cursed so at to put everypony to sleep that ate them and causing them to be lost in their dreams of their hearts desires. He know he would have to keep such an idea in mind and maybe see if it could be connected with any stories he knew. Speaking to himself he says considering it, "[/colour][colour=#800080]Apples that cause you to lose yourself to dreams."[/colour][/colour]

Sorry everyone for disappearing, I have had real life concerns to deal with as well as putting together my own campaign which is why I haven't been on. I am back now and working with SteelEagle to find a place for my pony Mythos Gray as he was replaced from the main group.

Mythos was pleased, despite his annoyance at himself at losing his confidence, and he nodded at Luna as he watched her walk to Applejack. He smiled in amusement, realizing what this would mean for the orange mare giving out kisses before turning the young colt next to him and explained to him his purpose saying softly and though he was calm there was a clear edge of excitment, “I am a collector of stories, and I have been seeking the stories of our princesses for quite a long time. There is so much we don't know about them, like where they come from.” Looking at Guiding Light he asked, “haven't you ever wondered about Celestia, her past? There is also Luna and her connection to the Legend of the Mare on the Moon.”

[colour=#222222] [/colour][colour=#222222]Mythos was surprised to see this all work out so quickly and while he hide it fairly well, but not perfectly, he was actually more than a bit nervous. This surprised even himself as he was known for his wellspring of confidence... some ponies would even say a bit too confidant at times. Here was the stunning Princess Luna right before him, a mare he knew perhaps even less than he did her older sister Princess Celestia, one whose life was all but unknown by scholars and history… only legends giving much detail on the two sister.[/colour] [colour=#222222]Giving a deep and respect bow Mythos gave Princess Luna his brightest smile once looking up at her, truly pleased to meet her despite his somewhat deserting confidence and he both introduced himself and answered her question as he says, “[/colour][colour=#800080]As my this young colt has said my name is Mythos Gray, I apologize for going such a roundabout way to meet you Princess Luna. You see I did not want to get in your way before getting some apples, feeling that what I would wish to say… more what I would like to request could wait until we had both bought our apples.”[/colour] Mythos realized he was speaking more then he perhaps should he laughed softly to himself explaining, [colour=#800080]“This is a new feeling for me, it would seem you have taken my confidence from me and I am wasting your time. Perhaps it is silly of me to think I could learn from you what I seek…”[/colour] Mythos moved his hoof through his mane as he waited for a reply from the princess of the night.

Perhaps I will make my own thread, though there is the question of who is free to post in it and not only how but when Pathfinder meets up with Mythos. My plan was to set up a 'back story' of sorts that summuries how Mythos' life in Canterlot is and how he spends his time. of the request by one of Mythos' employers to 'meet up' and find Pathfinder.

I will get together a post for the thread in the city of Catherlot (Pathfinder's grand escape from the hospital it seems) but first I need the time to read what has already been posted... was well as make a post just as long as everyone else’s (I normally don't role-play with those that make big posts to I am out of practice for doing the same). Also I will get more information together for the group the Purple Star and their 'front' organization the Ruins Foundation.

Mythos returned to his place in line behind Guiding Light, as it would seem he was not needed to calm the crying baby. This was fine though he did consider speaking with Princess Luna while he was nearby... yet felt it could wait as he had technically cut in front of the other ponies, even though it had only been for a moment. Be turned to his new 'friend' and asked softly, "have you decided how you will approach our fair princess of the night? If not I have a few suggestions.” As he says this a smile is clear on his face, as if he considered this to be some sort of game or puzzle and the young pony was the key in solving it. As he speaks to Guiding Light he thinks back to when he had first learned of the princesses, or particually when he had read of the legend of the mare of the moon.

I have a ‘villain’ potentially, though I feel I should PM my idea... yet I can suggest a group here. The group would be the Purple Star, where the members send out ponies to go in search of artifacts so that they may increase their own power. Yet like any good group they disguise their intentions, even play the part of some club or legitimate organization. Perhaps a club for the high class that fund expeditions and research or a museum, or perhaps an university. On artifacts, perhaps the Grimoire of the late Nexus Dark a stallion that had tried using dark magic to take over Equestria but was stopped by the princesses before the time of Nightmare Moon.

"Very good," Mythos says with a smile and a nod before frowning just a bit as he continued to hear the baby crying before saying, "can you excuse me for a moment." Mythos walked slowly forward with the words, "excuse me, thank you, don't worry I will return to my place." As he got to Mr. Cake and his foal his horn started to glow and he created what seemed to be colors and lights in the shape of small birds, having them flying near the baby's head. Looking over at the stallion and glancing at the excitable pink mare he says, "I hope I am not intruding, but I felt maybe I could help."

Mythos looked over to where the princess well, as well as a very odd pink mare, an old wrinkly old mare, and a stallion holding a now crying baby. He saw this as a very amusing scene though he hide a smile, and he considered what to do. He heard the foal’s words and the stallion turned to look at him, noticing a look in the young foal’s eyes causing a chuckle to escape his lips before asking “It would seem you have a plan coming along?”

(Sighs) Mythos realized he had missed his chance as she walked by, much to his annoyance as he answered the young colt saying, "I could be over thinking this but I believe a foal would be able to gain the attention of a princess better then an adult, and the letter will not say much just that I wish to meet with Princess Luna once we have both finished buying apples, as you see I am a collector of stories." Mythos turned to smiling at his young 'friend' explaining, "it has always been my dream to learn the stories of our fair princesses, the life that history and myths do not speak."
